Balcony with good view of the landscape n/a
An extremely cosy hotel. The room was specious. We got two comfortable chairs for reading. The garden was fantastic - even in november. Adventous and filled with different exciting species. A spectacular view over the valley. The breakfast was nice. The first time we got muesli in Spain. If you dont bring your own computer it is very convenient to check e-mail and world news (if you dont speak Spanish) from the hotel computer. At hotel Alcademia they had a functional but very slow/old PC.
centrally located, spaceous and clean.typically older style hotel without the modern day fuss.ideal for somewhere quieter. wasnt many staff around which led to waiting on occasions for the bar service, but we did visit out of season.
It's a cosy hotel offering a nice view to the mountains. The staff was very kind. At the moment the central street of the town is under construction, so there is a possibility of getting lost in the town. But it's not the problem of the hotel.
We enjoyed the peaceful room with spectacular mountain views, very friendly staff and well-equipped room with refridgerator and kettle ( most unusual for Spain ). The gardens were beautiful and had a large outdoor pool.
restaurant & pool the room was pokey
Relaxed feel and very good restaurant. Only minor gripe is the parking on the road outside. Would be a problem at busy time of year.
Very attractive hotel with plenty of facilities and a great position with good views. The hotel staff especially the reataurant staff were very good.
The setting is beautiful and the hotel itself looks nice. Most of the staff are excellent as well. Our rooms had no air conditioning and we had to leave our window open all night. This wouldn't have been too bad except for the fact that we were by a fountain (water feature) that made noise all night making it difficult to sleep.
excellent pool and restaurant; Lanjaron was a lovely little town with great bars; we didn't pay for parking but parking in the road was a bit awkward - suggest you do use the car park!
quiet, good views limited parking
Very friendly reception. Clean rooms. good central location Hotel does not have parking and it is very difficult to park in the town
The location is superb and it is of good quality the parking is terrible and i would imagine in high season even worse
The concierge was really helpful. Well priced. Big room. Stunning view.
Very nice and helpfull staff. Even though we did not speak any spanish, the staff were all very helpfull and very keen to fulfill our requests and very patient in trying to understand our needs. Thank you for a very nice stay: we felt very welcome.
The central location was excellent, with a very good sized accomodation, clean and polite service. Lack of amenities in room especially fridge and poor shower fitting. No parking at hotel.
I Like the city and beatifull place of mountain, nature. nothing.
I was there on business. The staff are always most welcoming and amicable.
We only stayed at the hotel for one night and only used the room for showering and sleeping. There was plenty of hot water in the bathroom and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very basic - only toast and coffee. Orange juice would have been nice, as well as being offered something to go on the toast.
Swimming pool and very pleaseant sitting areas. Very nice reception area. Staff extremely helpful. Room was dated and in need of an upgrade, particularly the bathroom.
The accommodation was very good. It was spacious and comfortable. Despite being on the street side we did not hear any noise at night. The rooms were very clean with good facilities. We also had a view of the mountains! There was a lovely terrace at ground level and also on the roof. Free internet was available which was a bonus.
Very good, large room. Very large swimming pool. Good location. Helpful staff at reception.
the noise in and around the hotel was rather high, but not due to the hotel
The location of the hotel was good for exploring the Alpurras and the town of Lanjaron itself. The lack of a bar.
The helpfulness of the staff on reception it didn't have a bar
For the price no one can complain. no
Location and price Bad smell in bathroom.
Clean 1 Noise - first night there was noise from a dance two floors below - second night there was amplified noise from a guitarist/singer from the street 2 Fire risk - the nearest fire stairs were 55 meters from my room - along a zigzig corridor 3 Balcony - a lock on the balcony door locked me outside with no way to get back in other than yelling at passers-by.
Nice mountain view (some rooms only) A bit old and breakfast is very poor
We liked the location of the Hotel as it was very central to other bars and restaurants. It was also well placed to visit the surrounding towns and villages in the mountains as well as not being far from the sea for a change of scenery. We knew the breakfast was going to be very basic as stated in the information as continental. My young son did not like any of the three options and we found ourselves bringing in food for him to eat at breakfast. If there had a been a cereal option or yoghurt available we would have definitely been very well catered for.
Old family hotel on the main street in Lanjaron, friendly staff, swimming pool, nice view of the mountains from the room. Breakfast was very basic (coffee, tea, 2 slices of toast with jam, orange juice). Not a buffet style breakfast with various options.
It was very low key no bar in the building
very simple, old furniture and a minimum breakfast (toasted bread and milk/coffe). Hotel with a nice swimming-pool and lovely people. Very good location.
Low cost, clean, friendly, ideal for a base if climbing Mulhacen Mountain.
great location, excellent value for money, staff very friendly. Good old fashioned service
Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfectly good for the price. Somewhat run-down. Dinner, while cheap and plentiful, was like eating at a refectory.
Friendly welcome (even though it was almost midnight) helpful staff allowed us to use personal parking space..gave good info on where we could eat and drink (after midnight).
helpful staff especially as we don't speak spanish!
It was clean. It was the noisiest hotel ever. Inside and outside. Hotel for old people with no breakfast except bread and jam and coffee. The pool was closed. The parking 4 euros was on a side steet in a tiny 2 car garage. You have nowhere to unload your luggage. The room is MICRO.Elevator noisy. Floors/doors noisy. No english or french speaking -our spanish was so-so but we tried. They could not take my credit card because even after 9 am it was too early. It was a ridiculous maze to find them. Even our gps went bunker. We choose this hotel because there was nothing around the villages we wanted to stay in.
