Pros: Very comfortable room with some very clever design features. Lovely to have own patio. Beautiful breads and ham for breakfast. Delphine was helpful in recommending restaurants nearby.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a lovely room, velux windows had covers but not the skylights, so light came in when sun got up. The host was lovely as was the breakfast. Enjoyed our one night stay. Compiegne was very interesting, we would like to return.
Cons: The stairs were very steep, and being in a loft with skylights there was no view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was wonderful. Delphine made us feel at home. Very relaxing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Wee bit tricky to find it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good everything you needed. Our room on the ground floor was large with some very nice quirky one off touches. The owner Delphine was very helpful and spoke excellent English which was great for us with our limited French
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was the fact we didn’t stay longer. One night is not long enough as there is a lot to see and do in and around Compiegne.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delphine was very accommodating and would cook a breakfast if required.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Madame was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was all made fresh, including a delicious fruit salad served each morning. We had the Garden Room which was a beautiful room with lots of space, and with it's own small terrace on to the garden which was quiet and private. The location to explore not only the lovely town of Compiegne but the surrounding forest and Armistice Glade, couldn't have been better. Madame also recommended a very good restaurant for dinner and even booked a table for us. There was free mineral water in the room which she kindly replenished each day. A real gem of a find.
Cons: I can honestly think of nothing we weren't happy with.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast, comfy bed, water pressure in shower was awesome. Every detail is taken into account. Great recommendations for local restaurants as well.
Cons: Honestly, it was perfect!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A simply stunning house with historic interest commissioned by the composer of Flower Duet - Leo Delibes. The house is shaped like a piano and the owners are lovely and extremely helpful. Our room was spacious, full of interesting memorabilia, quiet and beautiful garden. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the tree lined garden so very secluded / quiet location. Continental breakfast was very nice and lots of it!
Cons: The long gravel driveway up to the house was not good to navigate on our motorbikes. It’s okay with a car but if you are on motorbikes take care or park just inside the gated entrance.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Totally exceeded our expectations - and they were already high! This is a very lovely place to stay, nice ambience, charm and plenty of history there. The rooms are very generous, beautifully decorated to a high standard, comfortable relaxing beds and excellent bathroom facilities. The hosts are exemplary, they make your stay most welcome you feel like you are staying with "family". The breakfast is lovely too, home made jams, a selection of pastries and excellent bread and butter. Will definitely recommend this to anyone.
Cons: Nothing - we felt that the owners have put so much care and attention into the place.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: No TV in room which was fantastic..we read and chatted instead.. Lovely comfy bed.. Exceptional history of the house which made it exciting for us. The hosts were charming, their children perfect.. The church bells rang out in the morning.. The garden filled with birdsong.. Lovely.
Cons: No lock on bedroom door.. I understand the concept of it being a guest house, sharing with the family and other guests but one doesn't know who one will be sharing with.. I felt uncomfortable leaving credit cards etc in room when we went down to eat or out for a walk.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nathalie was a very friendly host. The rooms were stylish in an old fashioned way and comfortable and were in an annexe just a few yards away from the main residence

8.3 Excellent
Pros: This was a repeated stay with the same positive experience. Comfortable bed, very good breakfast (for extra charge), tea/cofee set in the room.
Cons: It was a bit of a challenge to let the fresh air into the room as the window did not hold in the open position. There is currently a construction site directly in front of some of the windows (incl. mine) yet this didn't bother me as I was out during working hours anyway.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was new fresh and clean
Cons: The "welcome trays" advertised on the website are no longer provided. The restaurant is closed (but they still do breakfast). The hotel is falling apart. The ceiling in the hall was leaking water - they had buckets to catch the water. The buckets were overflowing. It was not raining. There are major building works going on next door, which block the views from the windows at the front of the building
5.8 Okay
Pros: The beer

4.3 Okay
Pros: Location good and parking excellent. The room had a nice outlook onto garden. Nothing more to say.
Cons: Firstly its dirty. They tried to give us a cheaper room than we had booked, one without a bath. The room was gloomy with no lighting and very dull. The bed small. The bathroom was good but the water took ages to get hot. The main issue was the scandalous price of the restaurant food, that was tasteless and meagre in portions. The breakfast too was inedible with leftover cheeses from dinner and a token piece of ham. We got our money back on the breakfast. I will never visit this hotel again. Overpriced and beyond dullness.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast and location
Cons: No tea, coffee in the room
7.5 Good

Cons: Details, but for seniors, they count No kit for preparing coffee or tea in the room No chair in the bathroom to sit while getting undressed or dressed.. No hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice for the price loved the bed
Cons: Shower dribbled
7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean room and a really perfect parking place. The parking is secure which is fantastic. Very friendly staff.
Cons: We did not have breakfast. We did order two cappuccino which we would definetely not recommend: €9,- (!!!) for two terrible cappucino’s with flakey noncreamy foamy milk on top of nontasty coffee. Despite of the price, we were unable to finish it. The room was quite small and the kingsize bed réally small for two tall people. But for the price it was really ok.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room we stayed in was very quiet with a great view on a big and lovely garden with very tall trees. Birds singing in the morning was the only noise we heard, not bad at all! The enclosed parking was also very convenient.

Pros: The location to the station, the staff, the cleanliness and definitely the cost
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The main advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the city center: two minutes walk to the train station and the bus stop and five minutes walk to the town hall. Moreover, there is a nice view from the hotel window onto the river l'Oise. I liked a lot the morning sunrays reflecting in the water. If someone likes jogging or walking, he/she will find a nice route along the river starting just on the other bank of the river - it is enough to cross the Pont Luise XV. 2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Staff was ok.
Cons: I did not really like the place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a personal call from the hotel to tell us our room codes in case we arrived after 9pm. When we arrived at 8:45pm, the receptionist was so happy that she said, "I hoped that I would get to meet you before I left for the night. I wanted to make certain that you got your rooms OK." For a very inexpensive room, it was clean and everyone so friendly!
Cons: Wish the toilet/shower was larger.
7.5 Good
Pros: the breakfast
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money and breakfast well priced for what was provided.
Cons: Bed light didnt work. reported it next day and it was going to be attended to. I couldnt work the roller shutter.
7.0 Good
Pros: Adequate but basic room for a budget price. Linen was good and the room generally clean. A basic breakfast was available for a small surcharge.
Cons: No complaints really. It is tucked away from the main road but nothing a GPS cant solve.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Great Value -clean room and breakfast was lovely. We needed a hotel a few hours dfriving from Dunkirk Ferry terminal yet about 1 hour from Disney Paris so we could get there next day without having to get up too early
7.5 Good
Pros: Reasonable stop over. Rooms are accessible from outside.
Cons: Food was very average.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Food was good, Breakfast and Dinner
7.5 Good
Pros: A very good place for one night. I went there to sleep over , to go next day to parc asterix. Shopping possibilities are just 5min from hotel. Your car parking is directly in front of your hotel room door. Great.
Cons: Air condition could be much better.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location was ok.
Cons: Bed was quite uncomfortable. Noise from other rooms was very noticeable. Buffet pricing for dinner was overpriced for the menu options on offer. Pricing of the room was overpriced for the quality of the facility. Overall, pretty ordinary stay.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Tiny rooms . Dog not allowed in the restaurant
5.0 Okay
Pros: Easy and fast check in/check out
Cons: Too noisy Restaurant was not good
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was good and easily accessible. Able to park right in front of room. Although it was a simple room, it was very clean with comfortable beds.
Cons: The only problem was the temperature in the room. It was stifling and did not even have a fan to circulate the air. We had a very uncomfortable night.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: breakfast appeared expensive when booked but was worth it when tried as very good. Meal in evening also very nice when you understand you can keep getting more from the buffet staff very helpful even with language problems
Cons: had to evict 2 spiders from the room even though it was very clean
7.5 Good
Pros: Good clean room, good breakfast.
Cons: Well away from town centre and bars/ restaurants.

Cons: breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a sudden overnight stop in Compiegne .. and the Best Western Family room was literally the last on offer for that night .. anywhere !! Living/kitchenette and one toilet downstairs, bathroom and three bedrooms up a circular staircase - so NOT for the mobility challenged - but absolutely brilliant for a family or two couples. Very comfortable bed (that we had). Despite the fact that our bedroom was in the front of the hotel and right on a corner and busy road. AND we sleep with the window open .. we were not disturbed by traffic. Restaurant next door was a little expensive. but very convenient. Very clean. One of us had business to conduct for the day, the other had not. A VERY comfortable space in which to do nothing, if that was what was required ! (weather not encouraging for exploring !)
Cons: A kitchenette was all laid out .. but absolutely nothing in it. Not an issue as there was tea/coffee etc .. but... weird. One or two steps in a number of unexpected places - so not geared for wheelchairs, as such. That is more for info purposes, rather than as a negative for those who do not have to meet those challenges !!
6.3 Good
Cons: 1. Internet didn't work. 2. Although a small hotel, each floor has two halves that do not connect. Elevator from parking garage serves only half of each floor (transfer on ground floor). This is not a big deal, except receptionist didn't warn us and there is no indication at the car park level. Dumb! 3. Lighting is low wattage that makes the room seem gloomier when switched on. Plus decor is dark red, black, brown. And one bedside lamp didn't work.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to town centre and next to a good restaurant, albeit not very user friendly restaurant! The hotel did what it said on the tin. Simple room not sophisticated but ok for a night in Compiegne at this price.
Cons: Room was pretty ordinary but with a decent shower. Kitchenette was surplus to requirements.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Good location near the centre of town Easy parking in the municipal car park across the road Breakfast was good
Cons: Poorly staffed, often had to wait for some minutes before someone came to the front desk Decor in the rooms was very "tired" Lighting in the rooms was abysmal Standard of cleanliness in the room was poor Towels should have been replaced a long time ago! No heating in the rooms
5.5 Okay
Cons: Lot of dust everywhere in the room. It is called a junior suite but no clue why. No luxe, no facilities. It is a 4star hotel but also that is very strange. 2star would suit much better
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the 3 bedroom family suite. Nice roomy lounge and bedrooms
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very central and beside the train station for Paris and euro Disney
Cons: Could do with cleaning outside a bit off putting when you arrive
7.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable room with views across the river. Excellent restaurant serving superb food and very good staff.
Cons: Room was a bit too warm but a bit noisy with the window open.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful, and the restaurant was very good
Cons: Located next to a bus depot, so lots of traffic
4.3 Okay
Pros: The beds ok. Size of room ok.
Cons: Had booked 2 single beds got a double bed. They changed to sIngle beds Restaurant was closed. No information about that on web site. We had travelled in car for 13 hours and we had looked forward to have a nice meal in the restaurant. Pillows were really bad. Poor quality. On the booking site it said it was bathrobes and slippers in the room but it wasn’t Overall the hotel didn’t at all live up to the description on the web site. Would never stay there again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Very noisy outside at night and in the early hours of the morning.
6.8 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful. Good location by the river.
Cons: Wifi is terrible. Street facing window was noisy. Parking instructions were convoluted.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent, just a short walk over the bridge to the centre of compiegne. Staff were very helpful in providing parking for us. The room was large and clean. Big comfortable bed. Absolutely beautiful view from the room.
Cons: The towels provided had holes in them and some stains on them. The room was quite hot and a little noisy at night.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: bathroom is big. And also the size of room is quite well. Three people in this room are not crowed. The staff is very friendly.
Cons: it's in the France small town. So the staff is not good at English.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: No assistance offered by the receptionist.. in fact really grumpy.. at bit of an inconvenience to stay there.. I will not again present them with the problem! I have a office nearby and frequently stay near here... first time in this Hotel and frankly very disappointing.
Cons: WIFI that worked, nice reception from the staff.... and maybe a price that matched 2 Stars :)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is good as it is an easy 5 minute walk into the centre of town, also easy to drive to the hotel and there is public parking nearby (w/ parking meter). Good value for money and better than most hotels which are so close to a train station. Room is small but tidy - but for the price you pay this is fine. The attached restaurant is very good - would happily eat there again and the restaurant staff were very friendly.
Cons: Not a "negative" really but just for others to note that the bathroom is quite small - fine for us as we are not big people but if you are a rugby player or an american football player you will probably not even be able to get onto the toilet as your shoulders won't fit.

Pros: Good location
Cons: It wasn’t like it was advertised. No one on reception and theee flights of stairs to a room which looked nothing like that in its photo on booking.com
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to the train station
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Central location
Cons: WiFi very poor. Had to log in every few minutes. Pillow very lumpy. No sleep due to traffic noise although realise is central location. Could not switch off heater so room very warm.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was Nice and clean, and nice location.
Cons: There was no one ever available at the check in desk. When we left we wanted to ask something but we couldn’t find any staff in the whole hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host Aicha was extremely helpful and very friendly. Excellent value for money and a great location. Jas Chana (London)
6.8 Good
Pros: The location was good
Cons: There were no curtains they were in the wardrobe. It looked like they had fallen down and no one bothered to put them back up. We were woken very early by the light and then the staffed knocked on the door at 11.30am to wake us when checkout was at 12.30. We would normally have checked out before 11am but were both very tired from waking up at 6am with the bright light. Most annoying when we wanted to explore the Palace in the morning. We had to leave for Paris at 2.30pm so had little time as we arrived at 7pm the night before.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location.
Cons: The staff.
6.8 Good
Pros: Centrally located in Compiegne close to the river. It was close to all facilities i.e. restaurants etc. shops and historic buildings
Cons: Breakfast was offered, but the dining area was on the first floor with no real views, so we found it more convenient to eat breakfast out. There were was and Coffee facilities in our bedroom, however the kettle was missing and there was no decaf coffee.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was tasty.
Cons: There was a problem with the hot water when we arrived so we couldn't shower and freshen up until the morning. Our rooms were not refreshed during the day. One room key refused to work several times and on one occasion there was no one on reception to allow us to access our rooms.
6.8 Good
Cons: The price (not low) rather reflects location (good) than cofort (average, at best)
