Good position for walking to restaurants in the evening
Very bland decor, a few pictures in the rooms would break up the bare walls.
Location very convenient. Lighting in room was excellent. Access straight into garden.
Front door and bedroom door access re locks could be easier. Although advertised as licensed there was no bar.
Room 2 - very spacious room, with large comfortable bed and superb bathroom.
Nowhere to sit to do hair/ make-up.
Great quality breakfast, both hot and continental items in a smart looking dining room. The atmosphere was laid back atmosphere and the genial staff made it a very pleasant stay for us.
The room was fantastic in terms of comfort and cleanliness, it was great to have tea and coffee facilities and a range of good quality toiletries in the bathroom. The only fault I have is that the carpet in the room didi look quite tired and had one of two stains here and there, might be time to think about updating it or replacing it with a laminate floor. Other than that a great place to stay.
This is a very clean, comfortable B&B in a good location for Christchurch.
The check in and check out was perfunctory and we did not feel valued as customers, which is a shame as everything else was very good.
