The property was built in an exciting landscape, which covers eastern Lake Titicaca and the white mountains of the Cordillera, south and west of the beauty of the Andean landscape that ranges from the fields to the mountains. The property covers an area of 8000 square meters of impressive naturalness and tranquility, and consists of three buildings. The structures are designed for Hector Santiago Bustinza Cabala, who, in search of his identity, interpreted the Andean concepts of harmony of his ancestors. The buildings were built according to ecological concepts of Andean techniques, utilizing the gifts of Mother Earth (Pacha Mama). Most of the materials, such as building stones, were extracted directly from this earth and were used to construct these buildings.
La Posada Santa Barbara founded his philosophy on having a close relationship with the Earth.
The first structure you can see to the right is an auditorium of 120 square meters available for conferences, private parties, birthdays, weddings, exhibitions of any kind.
In the second structure houses the reception, the restaurant, the bar and the pizzeria. There is a large veranda with mosaics on the floors, wrought iron details, flowers, stone tables that overlook the garden and Lake Titicaca. Inside there is a large dining room, the bar and the wood-burning oven to cook the typical italian pizzas.
On the second floor there are two bedrooms with private bathroom, one double and one quadruple.
The final building consists of a corridor-veranda that leads to 7 bedrooms, each one consist of two floors (for max. 4 or 5 persons) with heating, private bathroom with hot water for 24 hours thanks to the solar panels.
