Everything from the appearance inside and outside, the Customer Service of the employees/Owners, the cleanliness, the location, the size of the room, the comfortable atmosphere, the meals at the attached restaurant, the price, the microwave and mini-fridge...Everything! I'm not just saying this: when I return to Intercourse, PA, whether it is to visit Strasburg Railroad, Miller's Smorgasbord, Bird-In-Hand Smorgasbord, the Antique Center or anywhere even nearby, I will not stay at any other hotel other than Best Western in Intercourse. I cannot complain!
Everything & Everybody & the room Nothing
I did not have a whole lot of time due to the dog show I was attending (seminars) but the time I did have at your Inn was wonderful! I loved my room (huge), had a ball in the hot tub and shower was one that I hope to put into my home someday. The food was great and what a bargin (the ny steak), the person who was waiting on the table and bar was very nice and I enjoyed his advice regarding dinner . The young fellow(Appollo) was super great and helped me to my room and the gift shop info. He is a great person to greet people as they enter your lobby-friendly, helpful etc. I loved your gift shop-bought the Bassett for my son's vet clinic- he loved it! And I also bought the 4 pictures (cats, rabbit and chicken) and a rabbit container No
Beautiful facility. People were very professional and courteous. Bed needs more pillows. Bed was too hard for what was advertised.
The service was excellent as well as staff...Our son is having his wedding reception here next November...We came for a tour...It will be beautiful....Fave part was buying ornaments I adored off of your beautiful tree in lobby..Our overnight stay was fantastic...Will add the spa services on next visit
The room was comfortable and the service was good. Just thought there would more greenery and less concrete, from the picture on line. All the artifical plants and flowers.
i love the space in the upstairs sitting area, computer area.. i loved the window seats..
A quiet hotel, but at the same time very convenient to close-by villages, towns like Bird-in-Hand and Amish Farms. We got a room right inside the property & so was very quiet. NA
The accomodations were unique, the service exceptional.
Nice quiet, quaint, hotel in amish country.
It was in a perfect location. The staff was very friendly and room was clean. Nothing.
Location and price Beds were uncomfortable
Hotel was in a lovely farm area, no hustle and bustle of the shopping areas. No noise from traffic or anything. Beautiful to watch the sunrise over the farms. Great little playground! The only thing is the queen bed seemed more like a double bed.
Location, price, clean / comfortable room, with good restaurant across the parking lot. Coffee mwork.in room didn't work. Day two got a replacement but next morning it also did not work.

Room was comfortable, clean and cozy. Rural setting is very nice and quiet. Heater was high in a corner. Took a little bit to warm up room evenly.
Staff was very helpful , great location !!!!
It was a relaxing location and the view made us feel at home.Staff is very friendly.
The location and the staff. We have been going here for years and it has had many upgrades in that time. The housekeeping staff is so helpful and friendly. You meet a lot of nice people there. if you are looking for the Amish experience this is the place.
Price and breakfast included and smell of room no trace of cig. smoke The HARD bed had ,2 queen beds for 2 guests we had to each sleep in seperate beds the 2nd night. To get better sleep.
Staff was very direct and appeared to be well rehearsed at check-in Room was plenty 'roomy' and clean. Lots of noise in the hallways - pretty much all night (especially for a Wednesday night); Breakfast was limited - and at 8:59am - all was pretty much wrapped up - gone - Would be nice to leave coffee available;
Location was very good for my purpose of being there - Breakfast "not great but not bad" but I ordered off the menu. That's it for things I liked. For the price per night (which was low) and I did look at reviews, I now wish I would have spent a few extra dollars and booked another place. I stayed 4 nights. This is probably a place where local business companies have day time Seminars etc. Because of younger adults running the hallways all past 9-10 pm and room next to me playing music very loud I had no choice but to ask to change rooms at 9:30 pm !! I am not some OLD guy with a grudge just the opposite. Room I moved to was from 1960, walked in and thermostat was set to max 90 - it was a sauna at 9:30 pm and who knows how long the thermostat was set at that temp. Room was Lousy in all respects. The entire facility is EXTREMELY DATED. My 1st room was "doable for the money" in regards to bed, bath, TV etc, VS. Facility not monitoring guest noise, people running around etc. that was unacceptable to me and room I had to change to was Terrible -- The facility WiFi was so-so, Front desk staff was not what I am a use too. Poor mannerisms, Front desk person wasn't even sure where my room was on the map when I first checked in. Went to front desk and could not find anyone then went to Bartender to ask and he seemed to be frustrated I was asking where the Front Desk person was telling me "they are there" we walked up and he went in the back and said "I don't know where they are" BOTTOM LINE: we are all on a budget but please spend just a little more on your budget and book elsewhere.
Very clean, staff were amazing. Very helpful. On site restaurant was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
The courtyard with large pool and tiki bar restaurant are amazing. Families will love it.
Bed was very comfortable; 2 vanities (one in the bathroom, one outside) which was very convenient. Storage in closet and built-in bench were very helpful. Most of the room was basically outdated; carpet was obviously worn. Bathroom could be renovated, but was very functional. I expected an "Executive Suite" to be a little nicer than an above-average room.
Clean, large room with lots of space, 2 vanities, lights bright enough to see. We needed to carry our suitcases up the stairs, had trouble getting the drapes to stay closed.
Extremely clean! Newer hotel, spacious rooms, great price, excellent location to attractions, great breakfast (free). N/A
I location was great and my kids loved the pool. Breakfast was hectic and the items were limited to basically mufffins, cereal, toast and yogurt. I called the hotel about room avalabilites and was told they were fully booked. As soon as I got off the phone checked kayak and they had a room available. When I checked in I asked if I could stay another day and I would pay whatever the rate was. They told me I would have to check out and check back in. So I did what any intelligent person would do, I book a different hotel at a better rate. If I had to check out anyway, what's that point at pay their rate?
The cleanliness and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.
Clean, nice atmosphere, good complimentary breakfast Better if they provided drinking water , milk/creamer and sugar in the room
Hard beds and they had used some kind of room freshener or cleaner that burned my eyes and nose all night.
I have no complaints other than the room carpeting needed a good shampooing, but everything else was nice & clean. I would definitely stay at Best Western again but would do it more often if they ran some discount specials. Their location was great and many amenities. Staff went above and beyond and I was shocked at their breakfast and how much was included. It was by far the largest breakfast spread I have ever witnessed offered by a hotel.
The staff was very friendly, the place was very clean and it smelled clean too. We had a wonderful stay and will stay there again
My daughter and i got tomswim And i was able To Relax in the hot tub after a long drive. The beds were clean and comfortable.
Sheet was torn on one bed, The beds could have been triple sheeted, unfitted flat mattress pads hanging off beds on the side, bathroom floor wasn't clean neither was the carpet or toilet. Pillows way to soft and flat. Fridge and heater made noises all night. Please submit this to them. People yelling, screaming & slamming their doors down the hall Felt very safe and no smoking!!!
Very cheap, no frills place to stay. The rooms were very outdated.
Front desk staff was great , extremely helpful with our group Nothing
Nothing They overbooked their hotel on a busy, holiday weekend. Therefore, leaving me with two young children without a place to stay. On top of that, they didn't notify me of their error until 930 pm. It was next to impossible to find another room at that hour. I was traveling at night, with small children, in a strange area. A true nightmare!
Stayed at the Days Inn for a close by two day seminar. Staff at front reception was helpful and polite. Room was clean and enjoyed being able to fully open hotel room window, have a comfortable chair to use while viewing tv, quiet a/c or heater unit and comfortable bed. Would stay again and recommend.
It was clean and conveniently located. There was a lot of construction going on at the time which did impact our stay. No breakfast included but there was a reasonably priced restaurant on the premises and a 20% discount on it. The construction (above) and the price was high.
The pools were great, the restaurant was amazing, the location was perfect. I really enjoyed the tour of the Amish farmland that the hotel offered. I wanted to watch the hot air balloon go up and as soon as I opened up my door--there it was. No.
We were in the Pool Building, it made for perfect stay. Weather was horrid. Didn't have to go outside to the pool & hot tub. Enjoyed looking at the wind driven rain outside. Everything was perfect & it's located next to the Bird in Hand Restaurant. Nothing not to like. Centrally located to all the attractions, next to a great restaurant with wonderful food, the staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Room was very clean with comfy beds, nice TV. Towels by the pool, A game room & workout room
The bed is not comfortable at all. The closet has water water damage and molded. Some front desk stuff are not helpful at all. Won't stay there again.
Excellent customer service at front desk. Room was clean but hallway on 16th floor had very musty, stale odor.
Didn't like hearing that it will be permanently closing.
I was lured by the historical aspect of the hotel. This hotel needs significant care and renovations. It is not clean. The wallpaper in the halls is peeling. The carpet is worn. The curtains are not functional in the room where we stayed. The water temperature and pressure are inconsistent. I could go on.
Rooms were clean, bed was nice. The front of the hotel is really scary. I was not sure if the hotel was actually there because it looked closed.
The room was ok, if not a little dirty and the carpet was wet. Enjoyed the in room fridge and microwave. Enjoyed the high floor request was accommodated. Enjoyed he free parking. The elevators were prompt. Ok...first, checkin. When there is an obvious line, don't help they people being rude and cutting in first! It tells me that you don't care about your guests. Then there was the flies. Oh the flies. In the evening, we joined friends for a game night, pre-wedding activity and while it was ok, the room had a major fly problem. They were on the tables, on the food, on our drinks. It was terrible. And there was no indication the hotel was interested in fixing that. Then, at breakfast, the flies were back and EVERYWHERE! They were on the food, the drinks, the baked goods, the "clean" plates, our table, and on the people. Approaching the coffee station made them buzz all around and get in your coffee and it was gross. The hotel also was very disorganized as far as the wedding details, and we little to no help to guests. And finally, at check out, they handed me a bill and it was for more money, above what we had already paid in advance. Waiting for that to come through on my card now. Overall, if you want to simulated what a hotel in Botswana is like, stay at the Abraham Lincoln. I've stayed in boatswains, so I can make that comparison. Old building, hardly helpful staff, dirty rooms, and flies every where.
Clean, nice room and really good breakfast which was part of package. Sink had slow drain
Having makeup wipes :) Need gluten free stuff for breakfast
The facilities and the people are wonderful. If I ever have to come back to the area I would stay here again. I stayed on the 4th floor and at about 9 a.m. they started doing work in the bathroom in the 5th floor room upstairs. I had arrived very late the night before and was still trying to sleep. The staff was very kind and move me to another room immediately. I wish I had known there was construction before I moved into the first room.
The cleanliness of the whole hotel! The friendliness of all the staff! The breakfast selections were amazing! Very luxurious! Knowledgable staff! Exceeded our expectations! The only thing that we disliked was that we were woke by the room next to us being cleaned at 830am on a Sunday.
We stopped on our way to visit colleges in DE and NJ. It was very convenient and friendly. Coupons for breakfast the next morning right next door and on our way quickly.
Rocking chair porch, country furnishings, and friendly staff make this a very pleasant place to stay. This was our second stay at this hotel and we will probably stay there again. Beds are a bit hard, but we slept pretty soundly anyway.
