Well presented staff taking pride in their work. The hotel laundry service could do with improving.
Location. Friendly staff. Failed to tell me about the internet connection in the room.
Very elegant hotel beautifully restored. Loved it. Great room and the staff were very professional. Only slight reservation and absolutely no fault of this excellent hotel was the noise from a nightclub up the road from the hotel on one night ( this may have been a one off and I was in the front of the hotel). But this should not detract from wnat is a really well run and lovely hotel that I would be happy to recommend.
Easy aceess to old town and transport
Beautiful building near town centre. A must when staying in Budgoszcz!
Location. All services and shopping nearby.
Lovely room. Quiet and peaceful. Would come again. Beautiful building. No
Polite and friendly staff - comfortable room - great location and good breakfast
This hotel is really special. It was built at the end of the 19th century in the grand style and retains many of its original architectural features, notably the dining room with its fine timber work, balcony and grand staircase. It was a treat to eat in such surroundings, although sadly I was the sole diner in the evening. The breakfast buffet was a feast of hot and cold dishes, including souffles and pancakes with cottage cheese, all presented on gleaming silverware. The staff were most obliging and spoke good English. My quiet fourth-floor bedroom at the back of the hotel was excellent with its modern double-glazing, big old-fashioned radiators and renovated tiled bathroom, although there was sadly a slight odour from the drain. Bydgoszcz is not a big city so finding a hotel of this calibre was a wonderful surprise. For someone of my age (60+), staying at Hotel Pod Orlem was pure pleasure.
It was confortable and the hotel's location is very good!
Good beds, very clean room and the hotel was very quiet. Staff were helpful and provided a snack even though it was late.
Just one thing I found annoying was the phone number on the website was wrong
Ceiling fans and window screens in the rooms.
Large free car park. Friendly and efficient staff. Good selection for breakfast. Fair way from city centre and public transport finished early. Taxis were cheap though
The rooms are good, the price is good and the location is good, so all in all it's ........ good. The breakfast is not so good. It's the same everyday and the cheese and meat is left out so fly's can go on it and it's not very fresh.
friendly staff, comfortable bed, beautiful rooms, lovely setting with deck on the riverside, great view over river and park, quiet even though very close to city center
Friendly and helpful staff
Cleanliness, comfort, internet connection in the room, easy parking, breakfast, courtesy of staff, position for moving in-out the town by car
Breakfast was great. Rooms very good size & service in room good too. Location close to several places for shopping & getting a bite to eat.
just perfect, verry nice builing (old mill), modern rooms, gourmets restaurant, good sevicelevel the only thing kind of missing was a swimmingpool
Very nice comfortable rooms.Good road links. Whilst near to the tram it was a 20 minutes walk to the centre. Nothing much immediately around the hotel.
The breakfast buffet. Also the proximity of the hotel to the tram stop and the main bus station on route to the city centre. The hotel is situated near two main and busy roads. Despite the double glazing it can be noisy during the night and in the early hours of the morning.
The location of the hotel near the river (provided you have window facing it), the staff were really helpfull and nice. Insects in the room: beatle (harmless) and big spider (can bite).
It was a very good hotel, with a very high standard. nice beckfest and a goumet dinner. Good beds and very freindly personal.
The room was cold (radiators didn't work properly according to the staff but there was nothing they could do to fix the problem). The TV was slow with very few channels (only in Polish). The beds were very basic with a single pillow and a very thin comforter. Overall very Spartan conditions.
I like a lot design of this hotel, sauna was good, breakfast also was good, staff was friendly. Internet did not work, credit card terminal also did not work properly, water in indoor pool was a little to cold! Sound isolation for 5* hotel could be better!
Very central, very welcoming, very efficient, good food at breakfast, bedrooms very comfortable and quiet No guest lounge
A really comfortable, stylish hotel - the best I have stayed in in Poland. My coffee was cold for my first breakfast! apart from that, no complaints at all.
As always, everything was perfect!
nice staff, too much expensive including the parking place fee parking place is quite expensive, only 4 places
The atmosphere, the SPA and pool area, the restaurant
Traditional conmfort and service. Breakfast was a disppointment. The eggs that were kept warm had gone hard and the bacon was not replenished either day I stayed there.
Excellent hotel very comfortable with excellent resturant and spa. The staff were very attentive and polite, would recommend without hesitation.
For a visitor from the UK this is a hotel that offers great value for money. It's luxury at a regular price, and the spa is beautiful. I was here on business but I will come here for a leisure break if I have the chance.
The room was exellent, and I liked the style and atmosphere of the hotel. I also enjoyed the rellaxation room in the cellar with the pool and sauna.
The hotel is clean and well run, close to local transport and shops (Tesco netto).A quiet hotel ideal for a relaxing break. N/A
Stayed here for 2 nights on sporting trip. Hotel was basic but was very clean and value for money. All I wanted was somewhere to kip and wash and thats what I got. No frills but then I neither expected or paid for any. Would I stay here again - yes.
Very isolated,no bar, very little to do in the evenings. Difficult to converse with the staff, because no one spoke English
Price was the most important factor.
