My stay was good especially for the price during a Bengals home game in downtown Cincinnati. I'm not to sure but the hotel and my room was clean but appeared dated. All in all it was good and I would stay again for the right price. Oh the only thing that I was personally unhappy about was VIP parking was $ 42 dollars which I thought was absurd.

We stayed the night for a Cincinnati Reds game. Walk was short. We were right by Fountain Square where a band was playing. Plenty of places within walking distance. Our room had a strange cracking noise all night. A little hard to fall asleep because of it. The facility is gorgeous. Our room had high ceilings, an out of this world shower and a jacuzzi tub. The little breakfast cafe had a good selection but we chose to go to our favorite, Hathaway’s Diner just down the street- walking just about 5 minutes tops.

Cons:Took four tries to get us a room (broken AC, miscommunication, etc) but the staff was super nice about it.

Pros:The shower and tub were amazing!!!
Cons:The noise was very loud. You could hear the next room’s door shut and it would wake you up. Also the road outside our room it sounded like cars were racing and it was even louder and woke us up.

Cons:Was not informed when booking that hotel was under major renovations and without any convenient amenities. The construction noise was incredibly loud and made resting in the room during the day impossible.

Cons:Rooms look like boring suburban hotel. Door let in all sound. Floors are fake laminate. Bring back the charm of the old hotel. :(

Pros:Rooms are cool, clean and maintain the old boutique style without comprising on quality
Cons:The current renovation has this hotel feeling very closed off and providing nothing in the way of ambiance for the cost and supposed quality of the hotel. Although it may be necessary and some warning was given, this did not feel like a high end hotel and price/value definitely did not reflect in the current downgrade of quality. When done I’m sure it will return to it rating, but I wouldn’t touch this place until then.

Pros:I took a Greyhound from Detroit, and when I booked those tickets, Kayak sent me to a deal (although they took a cut.) So, a room that normally cost about 150 was 77 on the site. After “fees and tax” that went up to about 101.50. In any case, I had a nice stay in a nice room downtown within walking distance of anything I needed or wanted. At one point, the room was cold and I didn’t think the thermostat was working correctly. They couldn’t get anyone to look at it, so I got to sleep in another room. So, at one point I had 2 rooms because I didn’t have to move my things out of the cold room. Also, I ordered a chicken wrap off the late night menu but didn’t know it had onions on it. I had to order a salad instead and they didn’t charge me. Very accommodating service. Also enjoyed the smart TV so I could watch my own Netflix account. Food was pretty good.
Cons:Construction. But they did their best to work with me. And of course things were a little pricey. No vending machines, so a can of coke cost 3.75. The sticker shock for breakfast: since the order card didn’t have prices, I thought that the list of items I checked were a part of a package deal. I ended up paying 76 for breakfast! I wish I had known. Seems a little underhanded. To charge that much for food and drink, at least let the guest know! I could have stocked up at the CVS down the street, but alas, there was no refrigerator.
