I only stayed for one night as I was travaling through. I've used only the Bar. The barman was very nice and had exelent tricks!
Central location, Restaurant
Proximity to the centre. Staff were helpful. Pillows were lumpy and hard.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice beaches nearby. Free parking in the front of the hotel but in the evening it's full because of the hospital opposite the hotel. Computer on hotel's internet point was old and slow and when it comes to town of Latina, it's probably the most boring place in Italy.
The location was really good and in the main the hotel is a good one. We found the air conditioning in the room didn't work, or was only just working, not enough to be too uncomfortable. The toilet seat was not attached to the bowl until we asked for it to be fixed. Ant's had made their way into the bathroom and were crawling around the floor and bed. Although small they were distracting and despite the hotel staff spraying the entrance, I has to actually plug the hole with toilet paper so they were got rid of. Lastly, there were no fly screens over the window.
The price for Italy is ok Terrible breakfast and unhelpful staff
The staff were very pleasant with us I couldn't believe that a 4 stars hotel had not a swimming pool and the AC didn't work. Moreover internet didn't work in the rooms we had to move to the reception.
In room 601, no easy access to the sockets, not fully operational and loose light fittings by the bed.
comfort of room and quiet location no English T.V. news chanel !
Reception staff were very helpful especially in arranging a visit to ninfa gardens as going by own arrangements would have been difficult & costly and helping with local bus time to our next destination. restaurant was not open on Sat.Sun off our stay
It's just the best! If you're looking for a nice place to relax in peace and quiet, don't hesitate!!
The location was beautiful - ideal for a base if sight seeing in Rome There was no where other than the pool or restaurant to sit when not in your room. The rooms are very small and dark. They ran out of diet coke on our second day and by the sixth day still had none. During the week there was plenty of room round the pool but be aware it is open to the public at a fee so late afternoon and weekends its very busy and sunbeds few.
The hotel staff seemed very nice and the grounds were enjoyable. If you are looking for a place to get away w/out much to do but swim and view the country and you have a lot of cash to spend it's a great place to stay. Or of course if you have a car the rooms and breakfast are good for the money. Dinner is about $40 euro a plate and your only other option without a car is a little grocery store with pizza/panini place around the corner because town is a bit of a walk. It appears to be along a cotral route but the buses seem to come incredibly sporadically. Despite what this site says there is no wifi in many (probably most) if not all the rooms.
Breakfasts and free internet!
Very nice. Excellent restaurant.Charming. You need a car.
The old style of the place like the wooden roof. Very far from Rome, extremly hard to reach even with gps help, very poor breakfast, internet was not working, and you get very low value according to it's price.
hotel was very clean and was decorated in a tasteful way. breakfast was OK. dinner was expensive for what we had and was not edible. wine was like vinegar and the waiter seemed to think that by emptying it into a very wet decanter and warming it up would do the trick, of course it did not . It would have been laughable except for the price! I did mention it when checking out and only received an apology. there was no area that was welcoming to sit.
Its not very far from Ciampino airport and its quiet Its difficult to find at night when arriving by road. The main entrance to the hotel has been moved - Its is now on the road coming from Pavona SP101a to Pomezia - on the right about 200m before reaching Pomezia
It's near to the airport. It's very, very difficult to find and very remote in the middle of an industrial area. One thing that was missing was a distinct lack of people (we were the only ones staying there)!!.
Location, clean room, nice sea view
The lobby was nice and cool. Airconditioning worked very poorly and personel turned it remotely off even when we were in the room. Shower didn't work, water was changing constantly between ice cold and burning hot. Shower booth door fell away. We received towels onöy for one even we were two adults and one kid. Dinner was a fixed menu service, not a la carte and the quality was not up to the price charged. Personel gave a lot of empty promised, but nothing happened. Far, far away from four stars, mamimum two and a half stars.
it is good hotel 4* near road
Reception staff was friendly but this is all I can say good... Breakfast was very poor, definately not a 4 star hotel one (1, max 2). The restaraunt barely spoke English but I guess this is normal for Italy. Despite I paid 120 EUR per night the room was facing the side street where it was noicy from the pizza business at nights...
Centrally located near the restaurants etc., handy for the railway station. Staff very helpful and freindly. Sometimes difficult parking
The friendliness and professionalism of staff and management Pick up price from Airport should be a standard rate & not priced per person
Staff's English speaking skills very poor
he hotel staff was very kind and helpful the room was rather small for a 4 star hotel, no wifi in the room
Outstanding Hotel, greate location, great view from room! You will love this hotel.
the location was great ! I just wish the room was a bit bigger nothing, it was a great place !
if you keep the window open (and the mosquito net closed) you can sleep with the sound of the sea waves. The hotel has its own private beach where they provide sunbed/unbrella free for customers.
Very good number, clean and comfortable. Very nice location close to the beach at the end of the town. nothing
The hotel has a family atmosfere. Good service. The stay is very convenient and comfortabel. Very good in all respects.
It is a simple hotel but it is located in a little park that gives the sensation or relax and quietness. Good relation quality/price
Nice place, friendly, small, charming city. Better air-condition.
The woman in the breakfast room was pleasant.
very helpful personnel, late arrival (due to delayed flight ) makes no problem for the restaurant people. On the other hand, breakfast is italian style only, but why not ? During winter time think to open the heating asap, as rooms can be cold indeed. I guess this hotel must be full and not available from april to october....
excellent family run quiet friendly hotel
Stunning location, great service & throughly enjoyable stay.Would highly recommend it.
A very nice setting. It is really only a nice b and b but very expensive for a b&B.
Stunning location, very quiet and fairly secluded spot. Meals (fairly expensive) could be arranged with prior notice and were very good quality - some of the best meals we had during our stay. Fairly cut off from Castel Gondolfo, would have been easier to get around with a car. Little choice of restaurants in immediate surrounding area and a lot closed. The hotel itself was lovely, very relaxing, pleasant helpful staff and beautiful location.
The tranquil setting, the location right on the shore of Lake Albano, the lovely garden terraces, the view Lack of information about the area, e.g. maps, leaflets etc
The most peaceful location we have ever experienced yet in easy reach from good roads and rail direct from Ciampino airport near Rome
La atencion de los propietarios ha sido muy cordialy eficiente.Las vistas sobre el lago soy muy bonitas y el servicio de desayuno y almuerzo en la terraza sobre el lago fue sumamente agradable y relejada. Un lugar para recomendar.
The kindness of the owner as it was truly outstanding. It made you feel at home. I would recommend it to all my friends.
The hotel is out of town in an isolated position. We saw a hotel bus but were never informed as to what, or who this was for. On the first night the electric curtains did not work. On the last two nights the hot water was only warm - we complained on the first night but it was the same on the second. There was also a 'drain' smell to our bathroom. Breakfast food was very limited.
Free parking. Free internet. Nice staff. Good restaurant. (I recommend it for business, not so much for holidays).
Directions to hotel could have been better
It was clean and very comfortable.
The suite was amazing The location was dire - we stayed for a stopover before an early flight the next day - great for this but nothing in the area at all!
Location is nice right on the beach. There was a noisy tour group on the first evening (all night long). The sea-view rooms are a bit run down. Staff seem to be more concerned about themselves than about the guests. For no obvious reason the beach acess was closed on Sunday (they said there was not staff available to supervise...) so people had to climb over the fence to reach the beach.
The receptionist gave my room key to his friend who tried to break in thinking I was not in the room. I would not recommend you conduct further business for this hotel.
Good geographic position of hotel, very good seaside, qualified staff. Nothing information in the train station about connection with hotel.
The cleanliness of the room and the buffet breakfast. Also, the staff was very helpful with arranging a taxi. The shower head in our bathroom did not always stay up on the hook.
the beach of the hotel
There is a perfect quite place in September with the private beach. You can have a little walk on sea coast. In 5 min walk you can find the best pizza restaurant. The center of the city Anzio is about 2km from the hotel. You can find there many fish and seafood restaurants. Train station is in 10 min walk. You can get Rome in 1 hour. Breakfast is a little bit frugal. It is difficult to find place for eat in the daytime except the hotel restaurant and beach bar. Hotel guests from bus tours (we met Russian and Polish groups) are loud on the beach in the days when they are not in the tour.
Sea view!!!! Big rooms. Responsive people on reception. A bit dirty bathroom
Good service Restaurant was geared for coach parties, not individual guests.
No, I'm not because it's a old style hotel. Elevator is old, room is very kitschy, breakfast the same everyday.
Beautiful setting, Hotel decoration is excellent and charming. Very good value for money. When we arrived we were told we could book a table for dinner, later that evening we tried to book a table but we were told we could not because of weddings and had to walk to Castel Gandolfo for our meal. Noise from the weddings was a little excessive at times when we tried to sleep.
the restorant very small bathroom, especially shower cabin
Nobody speaks English, poor service of personel, dirty rooms, tv doesnt work, door lock on terrace broken
Tried desparately to cancel my Rome accommodation to stay an additional day- staff excellent and couldn't do enough
the location was off and we reached there a bit late in the evening and the station was deserted and scary. the room was very small and we had absolutely no space to move inside the room. when asked, they say all rooms in the hotel are of the same size. well, i don't have anything strong to recommend this hotel. the food we had for dinner was billed more even after clearly informing them of the dishes we had opted for. the bill should have normally been around 45 to 50 euros and the bill we got was for 76 euros. then they said they wrongly billed some items!!!!! strange indeed..
View was fantastic, restaurant was very good, town was a short walk and had several restaurants, shops and, of course, the Pope,s residence.
Beautifull place to have a break and relax, with very friendly and helpul staff.
View of lake. Old/small room. Bed wasn't very comfortable.
The staff were very helpful, polite and hospitable. The dinner was excellent and very reasonably priced. The view from the room is spectacular. The pool area was not furnished and the pool needed vacuuming. The room fan was very noisy. The breakfast was very mediocre and the coffee dreadful.
Very nice hotel with ample size room. Shower small, but common with Italian hotels.
very nice and quiet location - historical city and almost no cars on the street. Very friendly and professional team. Hotel owned by the family experienced in hotel business. Very clean, fantastic lake view from the room. Free WIFI. No problems at all !!! Very good restaurant in the same building.
A lovely location with fabulous views and in centre of pretty, tiny town.Very neat hotel. Good breakfast. Host was very helpful.Proximity to Rome by train was brilliant. Little room for our suitcases in the room we had.On arrival, the young man at the desk was helpful but had very little English - made asking for directions a bit difficult.
Location Fantastic, very central...
views from terrace it was quite noisy
Very confortable hotel in a small but lively village with good transport connections.
Excellent location, terrific air conditioning, and view of the lake
Good and clean hotel near Rome. Beautiful view of the Castel Gandolfo lake. Easy access to Rome dowtown. There is a train station near the hotel but is better if you have a car but parking is a little difficult because places are on the street and not in great quantity. parking is not easy
stunning views, good clean rooms parking difficult
Nice small town, within walking distance to shops, restuarants, catholic church and the Pope's summer residence (June, July, August) where he blesses the audience on Sunday at 12noon in 7 different languages. Rooms are small but clean.
Extremely clean... beautiful roof top pool and deck that overlooks the Mediterranean. Delicious breakfast spread served on the roof of the hotel each morning. Rooms have little porches with a table and 2 chairs. Somewhat tough to communicate with the staff as they don't really speak English- but not a major issue whatsoever.
