Excellent location in the centre of Fiuggi with friendly & helpful staff
Spa center in the hotel was very nice. You will never believe that this old fashioned, shabby hotel could have such a lovely contemporary place for relaxing. Staff was unfriendly. at first they said the elevator was broken. after we asked for help to put our luggage in our room on the second floor, they instead of helping had decided to start elevator :). And it was 4star hotel by the way. breakfast was ok, but on the terrace was cold at the end of november. we had to put our coats and scarfs on. And one more thing. On booking.com they say about policies in this hotel: "All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds". This is not true. They charged us 40% for this.
no internet access in the room !!! swimming pool out of order during my stay ! room too small, no cleaning of the room during my stay !!
The hotel was in an excellent location, to visit the area
Location Finding it!
I particularly appreciated the large bedroom. The spa was enjoyable and convienently located. The shower wall was unclean with a pink sticky like substance adhered to the wall with embedded hair folicles. I t remained there my entire stay. Also there was a glob of brown substance adhered to the shower curtain of unknown origin that also was never removed. I killed a large lumbering cockroach in the bathroom at 3:00 in the morning. Over all the bathroom lacked proper claening.
Location architecture facilities Breakfast fine but not outstanding and tablecloths dirty when table had been used previously.
It was a nice hotel with acceptable breakfast and nice room. A bit difficult to park.
the staff were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble.
the breakfast no
A very friendly atmosphere from the personel and very good food both at the lunch and dinner
Central to what i needed and on site car parking. Front counter staff very helpful. Wi-fi only in foyer and not in rooms.
The front desk staff were extremely helpful and unfailingly courteous. The hotel was pleasant and quite quiet despite being on a busy street. My sons were assisted with using the internet, and treated courteously despite being children. We did not have to make requests on their behalf; this was much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel Lory represented very good value for money overall The only down side was an ongoing battle to obtain sufficient large towels and toilet paper. Shower cubicles were very small and a little slippery. Car park was often overfull. Tea and coffee making facilcites in the room would have been appreciated.
Owner/staff very courteous and helpful; parking Internet access spotty - no printer for guests
Extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Very nice hotel, good location, very quiet. The rooms are quite big. The buffet was ok and the staff too. The room was too cold, impossible to regulate the temperature. The water in the shower wasn't hot enough in the morning and there was low pressure. There was a free internet access but it didn't work! In January every restaurant of the area were closed.
The suite was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and well furnished. A lot of original art. The evening meals were wonderful. Our server was so gracious. We told him to bring us whatever food he would enjoy eating. He did not disappoint. Reception was very helpful. Given the hotel is rather remote, I was pleasantly surprised with the level of English the staff spoke. A wonderful surprise at the end of a three week trip. I thought it odd that the big screen TV in the dining room was on every evening as if it was our entertainment.
Extraordinary courtesy and service. Meals were excellent. Bathtub needed service.
Excellent staff. Thanks Roberto
Immaculately clean hotel run by an exceptionally hard working, friendly and professional family, only employing staff who meet their very high standards. When our flights were cancelled due to the volcanic ash cloud over Europe, they did everything possible to help make our stay enjoyable. In addition, the family assisted us in making contact with the car rental company (it was proving difficult) and researched some travel options for us to consider for the journey home. They also provided good ideas and places to visit and where to eat out. I travel extensively throughout the year and stay in many different hotels, so feel qualified to state that Hotel Verdi is exceptional.
The staff was very helpful when i needed help the shower was very small and the hotel was somewhat noisy
The staff at the hotel were very friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was quite some distance from the town centre which gave limited options for evening meals.
The hotel is run by a brother and sister. Real charming and friendly people. They make you feel welcome and create the right atmosphere. The hotel, rooms, breakfast and staff are really okay. We will come back if we are around.
Simple, but large very clean room.
The hotel verdi is a nice comfortable hotel. The staff were friendly, and I would use the hotel again.
Excellent staff, friendly atmosphere, very comfortable bed, location, cleanliness, peacefulness. Charges for internet seemed excessive so I didn't use it. My colleagues were unable to obtain rooms yet the hotel seemed mostly empty - I only saw half a dozen other guests at most!
Excellent restaurant with the chef presenting menu. Very attentive staff. Heating could be better (it was ok when I arrived but at night it got a bit chilly).
Clean rooms and very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. The front desk found me brochures for the area and was very polite. Spoke Italian as well as English.
Value for the money, clean, nice staff
Nice people! SMALL room
I liked the quiet of the place, the cleanliness of my room and the availability and flexibility of the staff Not at all.
The mediaeval village.. We also spent time in the excellent spa at one of the large spa hotels in the town. The hotelier, Signor Luca was most accommodating in advising us about restaurants and local facilities. The restaurant was not open due to it being too early in the season. It was also too close to the car park of the hotel next door, which meant that coaches arriving and leaving cause a lot of noise. We understood that it was a short walk from the old village, which it was not.
great option, surrounding Rome, although the city has no big attractions.
Close to town
Everything - staff, food, location but most of all the help and assistance offered No
closeness to bus station and all shopping districts and restaurants. the family run hotel was very helpful . would recommend to anyone to stay there. a short walk to most sites.
