Hotel staff very helpfull, good breakfast, confortable room, free parking and WI-FI
Hotel very confortable and clean
Very difficult to find even with a GPS.
good air conditioning, close to a shopping mall
everything perfect Difficult to reach
Helpfulness of staff, location near the shopping centre, decent breakfast (continental, but enough to be full), new hotel, freshly furnitured rooms, rooms are very wide, as well as bathroom, very comfortable beds. Next to bus station - if somone like to travel by bus - you dont have to take taxi. In a walking distance to city centre, however we used it just once - it takes approximately 20 min to get to the old city's gate.
The staff were extremely helpful, it was a nice clean modern hotel. The drinks were very expensive , it wasnt as central as I had been led to believe.
nice room, good bathromm, everything very clean. Check out till 12.00.
Staff very nice and helpfull. Free minibar and WiFi.Good breakfast. none
Clean. Good breakfast. Room not soundproof. Far from city center. No restaurant nearby.
The view- swimmingpool it was very crowded- we had to pay for the parking 15 euro pernight- breakfast was poor ..
The rooms were incredibly hot and the AC did not work. The thermal pool is not very well cared for.
a quiet area . easy excess , parking area , good extra facilities un impressive dinner
Evevrything was ok. We also enjoyed the spa and massages. The cleaniless of the spa was not very high. Even the time was not high season time, I'd prefer the garden and spa to keep in better condition.
service was very good it was not possible to have breakfast before 07.00 hours and we had to take the boat to Sardegna.
The comfortable beds, with the loft arrangement for our friend which gave him some privacy. The breakfast buffet was superb, and provided healthy and tasty food choices. I particulary appreciate the fact that it was included in the price of the room, as the restaurant food looked a little too pricey for us (Therefore we did not dine at the hotel). The desk was helpful, and we were able to pair up with another couple heading for the cruise ship by taxi to make the taxi ride more economical. No - It was a fine establishment and so handy to the cruise ship location. We did feel a bit rushed on the Internet stations, but realize that perhaps there is not enough demand for more computers.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Parking can be a problem at times
Excellent location: walk to train station & cruise terminal and accross the street from the beach.
The hotel is an old building and quite quiet. Our room was comfortable and clean. Our dinner in the hotel's restaurant (the "hotel guest only fixed price meal) was truly atrocious. Tasteless, small portions, poorly cooked. Stay away from the hotel restaurant. There are several bistros just a short walk away.
very nice hotel near to the ferries for sardinia and a lovely view from the front rooms Difficult to find a good restaurant nearby - particularly on a Sunday
The Hotel was affordable for a one day stay before picking up our cruise ship. Food was very good. Location very good.
The hotel is beautiful with a very good continental breakfast and an excellent resteraunt. They provided excellent transportation from the airport and to the port for a fee.
Excellent hotel,food and staff
Staff were friendly and their English was good. The location was perfect, close to cruise port and easy to walk around the town
Convenient overnight stay prior to boarding cruise ship It was very difficult to get transport to the cruise terminal. This was not really the hotel's fault. The local taxis did not seem interested and we waited over an hour for one. Suggest the hotel sets up its own shuttle bus service as most of the guests were either pre or post cruise.
We were the only Americans staying there, and when we went down to the restaurant for breakfast on Sunday, they wouldn't give us a table, even though most of the restaurant was empty. The waiters were rude and surly at best. Would suggest you find a different place. We overnighted there because we were booked on a cruise from Civitivecchia the next day. Rooms are mediocre. Beds are terrible. The restaurant staff was the rudest group I met in Italy.
Seaside location old facilities, hotel not accessible to much within the city (including the train station), meager continental breakfast
The Water outside the windows The food, the room, the hotel in over all
the pool area location nothing around
Wonderful restaurant/dining experience!! Front desk helped arrange transfer to port. Nice comfortable beds. Lovely cross ventilation in our room. I think that users would like to know about whether the bath is an enclosed shower or not. We loved our room, our view but are not accustomed to a tub/hand held shower head with no shower curtain.
The view from the room was excellent. Had a very smokey smell like people had been smoking right through the hotel and in the rooms.
The pool and the service I like all
The cocktail !!!
The property is amazing with a perfect view of the Mediterranean sea. People we complaining about the bathrooms, and uncomfortable beds...both were fine. They started a construction project at 9:00am in the room next to us which woke me up. I was really pissed.
Beautiful location for a sunbed and swim holiday. Limited selection of restaurants around within walking distance. Car is essential. n/a
For someone departing on a cruise from Civitavecchia the location is near perfect. It is only 100 meters from the train station and another 200 to the shuttle buses that go to the ship. That saves 20 to 40 Euro in taxi fares. I stayed there in late October (end of the cruise season) and the hotel showed some expected wear and tear from the summer but nothing I wouldn´t expect to be spruced up by spring. The saff were all very congenial and helpful. There were plenty of moderate priced restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. I would stay there again.
every staff is friendly and helpful for all direction. there is a bar next to the hotel, and people got loud late at night.
The location is superb to food, bars, railway station, ferries and view. No
Helpful staff, nice rooms with lovely ocean veiws.Close to resturants and walking distance to shops. no
Had great old world charm The bathroom - specifically the bathtub - it had a shower but no shower curtain or rod. We had to either take a bath or wash our hair at the side of the bathtub. Not good!
hotel was fine, almost next to the train station, room was very clean, and the free breakfast was good.
The staff was excellent in every way. Nothing
The intamacy and the personal care by the owner and staff No
Fantastic food, peaceful location, clean, luxurious feel to the whole place. Very few other guests meaning you had the place to yourself practically!
staff was friendly and helpful, good breakfast
Discovering the Old Town and local food
Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Very good location for visiting the historical centre of Viterbo.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room, good breakfast.
Nice hotel close to the center. Good internet connections. No parking anywhere close to the hotel. We had to walk a long way. But the main problem was that the bathroom was not clean and smell quite bad.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Went out of their way. Waaaay too much cigarette smoke around - no such think as a no smoking room given the amount of smoke in the hallways and entry.
Friendly staff. Good source of local information. Breakfast was inadequate.
The staff and the owner are very friendly. The hotel provide free happy hour everynight. Breakfast is good. The room size very big with large patio, The bathroom is small, but that is normal in Europe.
The hotel and our room were very clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient for touring the historic parts of Viterbo, Villa Lante and Villa Fanese in Capraola. Breakfasts were good. The hotel's greatest asset is the wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff.
The staff was nice and the location was good for a visit to the center of the city.
The hospitality offered in a beautiful rural setting. It provided a relaxing venue after a hectic tour. Set in a large working farm, this resort/spa has a lovely patio next to the swimming pool where you can relax an sip a glass of wine. They also offer cooking classes, mountain bikes and tours of the nearby Etruscan sites. The owners are hands on in the running of the hotel and are ready to accommdate any wish. I was not aware from the website that the resaurant was only opened during the season. The staff was able to a ccomdate us by driving us to Tarquinia for dinner and providing us with a huge amtipasto try.
staff was very friendly. we stayed during winter and it had a very nice family atmosphere.
Villa Hotel Valle Del Marta Resort was pleasant and quiet. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was very good. Tarquinia is a charming medieval town and the hotel is very close to the center of Tarquinia. There were spectacular views of the land on one side and the sea on the other side from the top of the town.
Very friendly and helpful personnel. Clean and nice room. Only 1 hour drive from FCO airport. The menu in restaurant was limited and "ancient" style. I won't recommend lasagne to anyone. Check-in an chek-out could be more organized.
The Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rural setting makes for a relaxing and pleasant holiday
Wonderful staff, comfortable facilities, good wine/food availability, beautiful surrounding country side Direction through the gates onto the property could be easier to find/follow
Eat, Walking, relax and city trip Restaurang was not open when we var there.
Centre of Viterbo, helpful staff, suggest using the hotels garage which needs to be reserved in advance, parking on the street difficult.
We enjoyed our night at the Tuscia Hotel. The staff was warm and welcoming, with good ideas for our dinner out! The safe and close parking garage was a must for us. The beds need replacing.
The hotel is well placed in the historic centre of Viterbo
roof garden, location in centre
friendly people hotel claims to be near old city and monuments; this is not true! esp. for older people a long walk to the old center
Very small room. No extras. Not a good breakfast. staff couldn't talk a word in English!
It was sited almost on the Centro Storico but close to everything. We had a wonderful view from our balcony of the town. Staff at the Tuscia were outstandingly helpful, best we encountered in the 6 hotels we stayed at in Italy in October. The room/hotel outstanding value for money.
Very clean and frendly hotel, the staff there are very helpful. close to all amenities Just one thing, being english i like hot toast for breakfast which was not available
A very good price for a few frills but comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Will stay there again when we next visit Viterbo. not applicable
The staff in this modest hotel were quite friendly and the rooms were reasonably clean.
Nice large rooms. Good location for exploring the old town which was just a 5 minute walk away. Overall excellent value.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a 10 min walk from the town and there wasn't a great selection of bars and cafe's nearby.
Good location, very close to the train station and the historical city centre. The hotel did not receive my booking, but it was not a problem they give us a room at the booked price.
Bar and restaurant were closed.
The hotel was next to the train station (noise) and the surrounding looked like an industrial area.
Best croissants I've ever tasted. Good location, great value for money. Free minibar for booking.com clients was a nice surprise.
Friendly efficient nice staff and well-maintained hotel The air conditioner in the room may need to be updated but it was very nice to have one and it was very hot and humid when we were there
wireless but only in the lobby Restaurant was not the best. It took 1 hour to prepare the pasta. Most people were complaining. Don't recommend to go to the restaurant for dinner.
The lovcation was Excellent. It was easy to walk around Viterbo and access to the train station was helpful. The staff was very nice to our daughter who was in the tuscan opera festival. The quadruple room was large and clean. The breakfasts were fantastic. The desk staff was helpful when we were trying to figure out train schedules because at the train station there was no one ask.
I liked everything about the hotel.
The staff at the reception desk was very friendly, polite and helpful. They helped us with directions and also were kind enough as to prepare a generous breakfast to take away early in the morning. They also spoke English very well. The room was big, with two couches (apart from the bed) and very clean. And the price was very reasonable. It is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed abroad so far. Thank you for your hospitality!
Good continental breakfast with capuccino and pastries. Nice room (it was a junior suite)
The hotel was modern and nicely decorated. Very clean and well kept. The staff were very helpful. I felt very comfortable at this hotel. It is five minutes outside the city walls and about 15-20 minutes from the heart of the old town.
very comfortable, nice staff, right outside the wall of the city
The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent value for money in a well designed and comfortable dining room. Internet access was free.
This was a basic hotel that offered good value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station and the old town. Free wireless internet in the room is a bonus for a business traveller. The only drawback was the rather small shower unit. There was some road noise, but it did not disturb me.
Large and bright room, very friendly staff, bar 24h/24h, free WiFi, cheap waters etc in mini-bar No laundry service, no restaurant on Sunday
Room was very quiet and nicely furnished. Staff provided friendly service. Breakfast was quite good, dining room is lovely. The room was very hot, and we had to turn off the heat in order to sleep comfortably. No cappuccino for breakfast!
Thank you for letting us play the grand piano. We also appreciated the use of your bar area for pre-dinner drinks with our friends. It was a nice get-together after 33 years of separation. We found the room quite dark. Maybe this is cusomary in Italy. Coming from Australia, though, we would have wished it to be a bit brighter. It is not a big issue, though.
It is a good hotel and a special localization
Easy access to main town and car parking. Reception staff were very unfriendly and carried on making calls whilst trying to book in. For this reason would never stay here again.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a seaview room with a little balcony, and the hotel is right on the seafront, near Civitavecchia's belvedere. There are several great cafes and restaurants, and a gelateria, all within a few hundred metres of the hotel.
This was an excellent hotel to stay in the night prior to taking a cruise. Close to the railway station and a short walk to the port. Taxis were available for the less mobile.
Excellent position on the promenade yet close to the railway station and centre of town. Perfect for pre-cruise stays.Quiet location out of season. Room was large and beds comfortable. Erratic evening opening times of restaurant were inconvenient,
Had a nice time, with a helpful staff and beautiful view of the water.
I travel quite a bit, but not usually overseas, I have been in Europe several times but by far the hospitality and warmness of the people at the Hotel Miramare was exceptional. They assited us with free transerfers, to the port, gavew us an welcoming glass of wine and did not charge for parkling. Also they were helpful in discovering Tuscany.Greart Place! Also the view of the Mediterain was awes nothing
Rooms were large clean and airy with Air conditioning and a sea view. Plenty to see and do nearby on seafront with good selection of restaurants
The room was comfortable and conveniently place for the railway station and a manageable walk to the port gates for the free shuttle bus to the dock. Reception staff were very helpful and looked fater our luggage after checkout. We ate at the hotel's pizza restaurant and it was good and affordable. There were also other bars and shops close by. Our room was on the side of the hotel and did not have a decent view.
The location was good for our purpose The restaurant was closed breakfast ok
Friendly and helpful Lack of lift. Hotel bus refused entry to port of Rome
