When you stay at Mahleruv Penzion Na Hradbách in Jihlava, you'll be 4 minutes by foot from Gustav Mahler House. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The price I actually paid was much higher than the one announced on booking.com. When we got to the room it was extremely cold because the heating didn't work, and given the climate conditions it took quite a long time to get a convenient ambient temperature. The living room was OK, but the bedroom was smelly - obviously ii wasn't aerated for quite a long time. The TV was half working (I guess bad signal).
Pros: Comfortable bed and clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff
Pros: Everything was good and as expected
Pros: Mahleruv Pension is conveniently placed equidistant from Jihlava zoo and main square. The lady who greeted us - perhaps the owner - offered us a two bedroom apartment with living room. It was much more than I expected when booking a twin en suite. Perhaps it was due to the fact the pension was low capacity and were reaching the end of the holiday season. All the rooms had Eastern European Cottage style furnishings and were all very clean. The L-shaped sofa replete with square cushions and an upholstered foot stool made an evening in extremely pleasant. Food in the pension was definitely better than average. I ordered food to take upstairs to the room that evening; Chicken Kiev. The chips, which I added as a side, were perfectly cooked and fresh. As for the cutlet, the succulent chicken went well with the layer of breadcrumbs it was enveloped in. In conclusion, I can highly recommend this place if you are coming to Jihlava. Expect to pay a little for it but still good value for money.
Pros: Good location Friendly staff
Cons: Small room Poor breakfast (good for one night only)
Pros: It was like staying in a comfortable castle. You could walk the castle wall just outside the door. Our room was large and well furnished. It was so close to old square, easily walkable.
Cons: It was hot in the room in the afternoon but cooled off nicely in the evening.
You'll be centrally located in Jihlava with a stay at Hotel Gustav Mahler, and 6 minutes by foot from Gustav Mahler House. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: A lovely old building, very clean with secure parking. It was walking distance from the main square making it easy to explore the town.
Cons: Would have liked a kettle in the room to make hot drinks
Pros: Nice history
Cons: To much street noise, early in the morning 5 Oclock truck were already driving on the bad road and therefore making a lot of noise.
Pros: Good breakfast. Very nice central location. We were going to an opera performance at the theatre which was jut a block away.
Pros: Clean and nice bathroom, quiet room, good service
Pros: The water was freezing cold. The toilet got stuck every now and then, the room was HOT and the staff replied ”we try” to complaints. The restaurant was closed in the evening but breakfast was OK. Our main complaint is COLD watee abd the fact that NOTHING was done about it even though we mentioned it in the evening and morning! Never again. Our worse stay on a month-long tour through Finland-Estonia-Lithuania-Latvia-Poland-Slovakia. Parking OK, everything else not.
Cons: There is absolutely NO hot water and no reaction to complaints. Staff speaks poor English and can’t/won’t help. We didn’t like anythinh about it. Way overpriced. We would’ve left if the reservation had been for longer. Stay snywhere else!
Pros: lovely hotel only 100 metres from the central square with safe parking . it is a very old building but done up very nice inside . receptionists i saw were excellent as they are the face of the hotel , bedroom was good as was the breakfast . they let me put my motor cycle in a locked garage for free which was nice . if i am in the area again this would be the place .

Buffet breakfast included. Free Wi-Fi.
Pros: Tasty breakfast
Pros: Overall experience very positive.
Cons: Heating might have been better, but I got a portable heater from the reception, so it made up for it.
Pros: Breakfast Spacy room Quite cheap minibar
Cons: Low insulation of rooms (old building)
Pros: Thank you so much for the pleasant stay in your hotel. Everything have been fine and superb. Special the friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and quiet rooms. Hotel is closed to downtown, few minutes to walk only. The EA Business Hotel Jihlava is really highly recommended. Parking was free of charge. Also a rich breakfast buffet was included for free. Cons: Reception staff speaks only Czech. Low service.
Pros: - location - the restaurant - the breakfast
Cons: - the architecture of the room was weird, with the bathroom in the middle of the room, surrounded by the beds. Also, the room had 2 walls exposed to the lobby, which exposed it more to the noise from people passing the hallway
Pros: It has a great location, indeed. The restaurant and the reception staff was helpful and spoke English/German. The food was good.
Cons: The room was really dirty. Situated next to a busy road, so it was very loud, which made it impossible sleep with the windows open.
Pros: Fresh, clean, lovely room. Beautiful area. Simple but colorful breakfast. Kind, helpful and very smiley-faced colleagues by everywhere. We used the room only for one night but the bed/matracies were great and enjoyable. Near to the motorway which was very important for us by the late arrival. Very good price / value. Next time we'll also prefer this place. We'll recommend this place for everybody.
Cons: Nice and clean place, fast check in even at night.

Pros: It was wanderfull
Pros: Perfect breakfast, super staff
Pros: The room was big, clean, with a very comfortable bed.
Cons: The breakfast was very basic and poor.
Pros: Friendly staff and good value if you are travelling East
Cons: Note that if you are travelling East to West, you'll have to detour quite a few km off the highway to get round to this place
Pros: The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet. Motel Pavov is located near the highway. We only stayed one night, so it was comfortable for us near the highway. There was good secure parking.
Cons: Although we arrived late about 20,00, we had hoped we could have dinner at Motel Pavov, but the kitchen was closed. It says otherwise, that there is a restaurant on site.
Pros: Arrived at check in time to find no receptionist. Lovely lady in the restaurant booked us in, gave us the key and let us through the gate to the parking area. Told us to see her colleague at 5 to register. All done with good humour with her speaking no English and me having any the smallest smattering of Slovak.
Cons: Came back at 5 as requested. Couldn't get in carpark. Left husband in car and walked round to reception. Met by extremely rude man berating me for not registering properly. Shouting and very angry. I tried to tell him I was English and did not understand but he just continued shouting over me. I gathered he was complaining about the lady who booked us in, not following the 'system'. At one point he used a rude hand gesture and I'm not sure if that was aimed at me or the lovely lady who booked us in. We were given a book in time of 2 pm onwards and we arrived at 2. There was nobody on reception and, it seems he was not on duty till 5. He then proceeded to lock us in, which made me very uncomfortable. We then went to let my husband in the car park and he coninuedid to berate us all through the procedure. Again, totally ignoring the fact that we were not able to understand almost everything he said, which made him even more impatient with us. The next morning I managed to get across to the lady in the restaurant how rude he had been. She just threw up her arms in an 'ignore him' gesture and said 'Normal!'
Cons: There was no food for diner. We came on 18.15 and the site says till 19.00. But the restaurant was closed. They send us to the gaz-station. But there was no warm food.

Pros: Location in the city center. Close to the main square. The hotel is very well reachable by car.
Cons: Breakfast was very minimalistic. Limited choice and the second day when I walked in at 8.00 AM a lot of things were not refilled.
Pros: Receptionist was very helpful. Room was great. Breakfast was excellent. Secure indoor parking was perfect
Cons: Small point. Maybe add an extra pillow for the bed
Pros: Nice hotel in the centre of town, at the old town. Ok wifi and breakfast. Good size rooms.
Cons: Was not possible to use hotel parking lot and reception personal had no idea, how much parking costs on the street!!! Also lack of English at the reception. Furniture needs update. Lobby bar was closed (seemed forever).
Pros: Very good location, nice staff and great breakfast.
Pros: Smooth check in, hotel close to town's main square, but room quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast.
Cons: One person covering reception and the breakfast, so had to go back upstairs to ask to be checked out. However that did not take very long.

Pros: The hotel is located close to Jihlava/on the main road Jihlava-Znojmo in the old Mill. The room we had was clean and comfortable, however was quite small (more than enough for one night sleepover though). Breakfast offered selection of cold and hot foods and even some fruit.
Cons: Nothing particular.

We came around midnight with two kids.. young lady on the reception was very helpful and smiley even it was very late...she prepared baby cot for us and offered anything we need. Hot water for our baby was given anytime at day or night we needed it. At the restaurant was very friendly waiter...he offered our older daughter to feed fish while we were waiting for our dinner. Same experience with other waiters. Just brilliant!! Manager is brilliant and very friendly as well. We will definitely come back and can’t more recommend it!!
