Pros: Collin and Estelle are warm, charming and attentive hosts. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts are fantastic with a range of hot options: we stayed 3 days and had five different breakfasts between us - all generous and delicious. And in case you had any room, home made muffins to fill the gap!

Pros: You couldn’t ask for a warmer welcome. Orla made us feel welcome immediately with home made bara brith. A very laid back vibe. Tasteful rooms with Melin Tregwynt throws and cushioms. Even the toiletries were from Wales. Breakfasts are fab. High quality local produce cooked simply but beautifuly. Thanks Orla and Steve.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were very good. A fantastic breakfast. Steve and Orla were very friendly. We shall be back!
Cons: There wasn’t anything to dislike.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Owners were very friendly and welcoming but unfortunately the room was very very small. Other visitors had indicated this only more politely. The breakfast room/ visitors room was small and cold plus the chairs were uncomfortable for any length of stay. Breakfast was fabulous but it did not compensate for the less than average other amenities. Definitely overpriced when balanced against 4 star hotels with spa facilities costing the same. Sorry to spoil their high scoring but I am being honest.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delicious, the hosts were super friendly and nothing was too much bother.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location with a supermarket and a bus stop in 1-minute walk, restaurants and pubs are also in walking distance. Very cosy room and superb breakfast! Different types of tea are available at any time which is really a great addition: so good to have a cup of tea after a long hike, it feels like home! Orla and Steve are very friendly and welcoming. If I ever go back to St. Davids I'll definitely stay here again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Joss was a fantastic host, very welcoming. The location of the property was fantastic- lovely to see chickens and sheep out of our window. The room was extremely clean, tastefully decorated and provided a fantastic nights sleep. Breakfast was scrumptious.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner. She was awesome, even helped me with my (last moment but very important :) laundry. Breakfast was tasty, scenery is relaxing, sights of Wales are just around the corner -- what's not to like? We both wish we could stay a bit longer.
Cons: We were lucky as we were the only guests. But if there would be more people, I think noise isolation could have been an issue - walls might be thin. But - don't let my "low" final score of 9.0 trick you into thinking it's not worth the visit - it definitely is. I just travel 150+ days a year for last 12 years, so I'm spoilt (or hardened, depends how you look at it).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The high standard of the accommodation and fittings and the friendly welcoming manner of Jos the host and owner. A very enjoyable stay
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding in every way. Such a kind and gracious host. Comfy bed, soft sheets, excellent food. I travel quite a bit and this stay simply stands out as wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just back from a 3 night stay at The Paddock while my wife and I visited some of the gardens and coastal sites in the area. Joss is a lovely host and made us very welcome. Our room was spacious and clean and overlooked the garden and its associated cluster of pet sheep, chickens, and pig (if ever asked how many sheep will fit into a chicken run when the rain starts - the answer is exactly 2.5!) A large comfortable bed and a great breakfast each day - what more can I say?
Cons: Nothing not to like - will be back next time we're in Pembrokeshire.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful location surrounded by farmland. Well appointed accommodation Lovely host
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a unique hotel in a bucolic setting. The rooms are large and very comfortable. There are limited facilities at the hotel, but the setting and the uniqueness of the hotel overcomes all deficiencies.
Cons: There is no elevator so you need to travel on the light side during your stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Roch Castle is a great place to stay, first class service we could not ask for better. The staff where keen to ensure everything was just right at all time. Their knowledge of super places to eat in the evening was helpful and then booking a reservation to ensure you had a table (even left a map with directions in our room) who could ask for more. If you wish to have a relaxing base to visit the area you could next get better. On one day the weather was not good so we just relaxed in the castle enjoyed the views and very comfy common sitting gallery. Will be going back again.
Cons: Sorry can not think of anything
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The feel of entering a portal, being able to walk, eat and playing the same old games, on new days, in changing ways; just as our ancient ancestors.
Cons: Though overall experience was good, though I paid for the cost for the best room. However I believe I may have been given the ‘turret’ room. But that could be also my fault as arrived earlier than initially expected.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous building with lovely comfortable interior / bedrooms, in a quiet country area but with easy access to the Pembrokeshire National Park. The shared lounge area on the upper floor is spacious so even if the hotel was full, you could find a quiet spot to relax should you choose to. There is an outdoor balcony area and also an honesty bar. The free shuttle bus to a sister hotel which has a restaurant is very useful if you wish to have a drink and not incur a taxi cost.
Cons: Nothing - met all my requirements / needs for this particular weekend away.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: No in house dining option.

Pros: Pleasant owners. Gave enough advice about the location and the service they offered. Very quiet location, and felt extremely secure in the environment.

Pros: Friendly helpful sociable hosts. Good location possible to walk to centre of tow. Excellent wide choice breakfast
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was amazing -- way beyond an "excellent" breakfast. Also, Shaun makes and sells his own fudge -- I liked the pink peppercorn and white chocolate. I bought them all so he had to make more :) Shaun and Suzanne were so friendly and helpful -- and completely genuine. Absolutely wonderful people. Location was excellent -- a short walk to town and a short walk to the coastal path. After having walked about 12 miles on the path, I figured out that the part right near them was the absolute prettiest. Can't think of a single thing to complain about and I'm usually so good at that!

6.7 Good
Pros: Lovely location & fabulous old house. Only negative from our view was having to share a bathroom, but we did know that on booking.
Cons: Having to share a bathroom, in fairness we knew this.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Facilities good. 'Homely' feel. Access to 'munchies' in shared kitchen. Managed to find parking right outside. Beds good.
Cons: Nothing really, the shared facilities were known beforehand and there were limited guests staying so it was not a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A roomy, elegant property. Our bedroom (balcony room) was agreeable - light and airy and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to make yourself at home. If you find staying in hotels a little stuffy this is a perfect alternative. We would definitely return if staying in the area again.
Cons: In my opinion there is nothing to dislike.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: In all aspects my husband and I were very happy with the Cambrian Inn. Friendly and helpful staff and owners. Excellent breakfasts. In the end we decided to eat in the restaurant on all three nights due to the excellent food, large portions etc.
Cons: Nothing to report.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The restaurant is a very popular venue in Solva and the food was a good standard.
Cons: We felt that this accommodation was somewhat overpriced. It was described as a Deluxe double room but there was nothing special about it. The bathroom was so tiny I had to step to the side of the toilet in order to close the door.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous breakfast, very pleasant staff. Nice comfy room, great location. WiFi dropped out a few times but everything else was very good
Cons: WiFi,
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A very comfortable stay in a nicely renovated room. The breakfast was also excellent and the cooked breakfast element was the best we’ve had for a long time. The Inn is very conveniently situated and highly recommended.
Cons: Very little to complain about but a shelf near the washbasin in the bathroom would have been useful to store our toiletries.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy room, good food.
Cons: Nothng
6.7 Good
Pros: The breakfast was well above average. The range of choices was even better.
Cons: Warning signs!!!!!!! I banged my head twice, two different places, on the ceilings and I'm only 5ft 10 inches tall. Warnings are placed and can be seen from the inside of the hotel while going out but NOT on the way in. Following my loud exclamation of pain, the girl showing us to our room said, "Oh yes....this is an old building...you need to watch out." Not 'Sorry' or 'What can I do?'. Later, my wife tripped on the 2cm drop between the floor in the room and the floor in the ensuite. Again, no warning signs. Score 0/10 for safety.

7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel has amazing gardens and sea views. The bed was very comfortable and all the staff we came across gave us an excellent level of service.
Cons: The decor of the hotel is a bit jaded and stuck in the 80s. Not exactly a problem but it detracts a bit from the overall "wow" feeling
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location for exploring St Davids. The staff were very polite and helpful.
Cons: The double bed in the family room we booked was very firm, so I personally found this very uncomfortable. The single beds for my children though were very comfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating to my son. My 6 year old loved the experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and dinner were excellent
Cons: No place for sponge bags in the bathroom. The short shower door allowed water to escape to the floor too easily.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just lovely. Beautiful setting comfortably furnished. Quite an individual place. The food was really top notch but the the staff were just fabulous. They really made us feel at home and treated as like human beings rather than as just another group of guests. Courteous smart friendly very welcoming - right from the start with Amelia and Lucy’s emails. Everyone had a “ no problem” “can do” attitude. Thank you to all of them: Rupert, the lovely’s ladies who looked after the rooms the restaurant and bar staff and reception. A fabulous short break.
Cons: To have been able to stay a bit longer
7.5 Good
Pros: I thought the breakfast was ok, but the reviews suggested to me if would be a great deal more than OK, I was shocked to see that the hotel had only achieved a score of 1 for food hygiene when I arrived
Cons: The hotel is very comfortable but it is also very out dated and fails to offer more than bed and breakfast in my opinion . There are no additional facilities to make it worth the high price. The swimming pool is in a separate building and changing area is also separate from the pool, this was not clear from the website. We ate in the dining room once, and had a good meal, but once I had seen that the food hygiene rating was only 1, I was not inclined to eat there again, especially given the price.
