Beautiful area, many things to do, food was ok. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Some of the staff was not very helpful. Missed opportunities to earn points with rewards card due to staff not asking for card.
Guests shouldn't have to pay a cover charge for night time entertainment
My husband and I stayed here overnight on our way home from the beach. It was a great end to our vacation. Our room was very clean, ready on time, and exactly what I requested (mountain view, king bed, high floor). We enjoyed canoeing on the lake, it was absolutely beautiful! We had dinner at LB's and the breakfast buffet, both of which were very good. All of the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We also enjoyed swimming and a brief time in the casino. Overall we had a wonderful stay here!
Service was exemplary. Loved spa facilities. Food was fabulous. Hotel is charming. Housekeeping missed crumbs on bathroom floor from last guests, which remained the entire weekend of our stay. Spa was overcrowded (locker room and relaxation room). Front desk failed to tell us at check in that our room would be right outside elevator which rang early in the morning and late at night and we could hear voices of guests. Also, hotel needs more convenient parking.
The staff went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. The accommodations are beautiful. I would have liked the porch to be swept off and the chairs wiped off. It would be beautiful in the Fall. We only noticed a build up of dust on the mirror in the bathroom and that the porch could have been swept.
We liked the hiking, the location near to the town, the facilities and the historic but nice and well-maintained guests rooms. They missed cleaning our room.
Nice size room. The room was clean, the bathroom clean. Breakfast was in an attached restaurant, not the lobby. This was my first "budget" stay away (normal is a Hampton inn). I won't say didn't like, I'll say different was a small refrigerator against the wall with a microwave on top.
pool is awesome. breakfast is fantastic. very clean. great staff. the travelodge is an older establishment... not brand new. but the price of this motel is great.
The room was clean. It's nice to be able to park right outside your room, especially when you arrive late at night.
Staff was great and the location was perfect. In and off PA turnpike in a ccouple of minutes. Room was clean but a little musty, nothing a little fresh air didn't fix.
Great breakfast buffet. Daily room cleaning excellent. Friendly staff. When taking shower, it had a high pitched sound.
Easy no-hassle check-in. Will stay again.
Gave us the wrong room, and also the man was so upset when we kept trying the door. Also their were children crying.
Friendly and happy staff.
I called ahead to see if cribs were available. When I arrived, one was already in my room for me. I appreciate the great customer service. Breakfast was amazing, kids loved it as well.
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice updated hotel Tiny pool. Hot tub not in order, Overclhlorinated and staff appeared unconcerned.
Upon checkin, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was nice with a brand new bathroom. The bed was a little soft. The toilet seat was cracked and the shower head didn't work. We had to go to a different room to shower. Took a while to find a staff member at 8:30 in the morning to address the issue.
Only poor comment was the free breakfast was poor. it was offsite at salsa mexican restuarant with limited choices and cold food. Service was slow.
For comfort and basic needs this hotel has it! The rooms are large, clean, and quite. My wife and I had a king room, and 2 other family members shared a double queen room. We were all satisfied with our stay here, and the breakfast at the Arena next door was great. It came with our room price, and included beverage, cereal, hot items, and muffins. We will definately stay here again!
Booked for Fall Festival at last moment. With the low price we were not expecting much. WOW! We were even given a suite with a hot tub! Very quiet and for the most part very clean. The maid could have vacumed better and given soap everyday but this was the ONLY neg. things to be said about this place. We are going back for hunting season without the kids this time!
We stayed here in March 2012. Room was very clean, check in staff was wonderful, morning staff were ok. Miss imformed about the cut off time of breakfast so we missed it. We are planning on staying here again next time we are in the area. Nicely located.
We were in the rear, parked at our door, with a view of the coutryside behind the motel. It couldn't have been quieter, even though the PA turnpike is right there. I have stayed at fancy competitors at twice the price and never gone back. This is one for the books.
The hotel rooms were surpisingly large and the sheets and bedding were very clean and seemed new. The room includes a hot buffet breakfast in their restaurant. GREAT value for a family. Didn't use the pool but it was large and very clean. Everything was clean and staff was friendly. We have marked this as a must-stay hotel when traveling from the east coast back to/from NW Ohio. Although at the crossroad between I-99 and the PA Turnpike - the rooms were quiet.
My stay with my granddaughter was excellent. The cleanliness, the safety, the restaurant next door, the voucher, and the nice service were incentives for my other relatives to stay here in September. Thanks.
Expected a clean safe place to stay. What I got was an excellent large room, very clean, great deal! Price included voucher for full breakfast buffet at adjoining restauant. Right off PA turnpike & easy to find. I almost stayed at Breezewood, but this was better! Would absolutely return. Hotel looks just OK on outside; don't let that fool you.
The motel is lacated just off the I-99 exit. It is well cared for. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The room was clean and inviting. It included a FREE breakfast buffet (not just a continental), and a discout on dinner at the attached upscale resturant. The attractions we wanted to see were all within easy driving distance. We asked for and were given an extention on our checkout time so that we could come back and change after church. Staying here was a great start to our vacation. We hope to return within the next year
I stayed recently at the Quality Inn Bedford. It was a nice room for the money. Bed could have been a bit better. Staff was good. Since it was August, no blanket was provided. If you didn't keep the air conditioning on, though, the room got very stuffy. I stayed here as I was temporarily working night shift (finished at 3AM) at a local factory. Because of this, I missed the breakfast provided. Not a big deal. A discount would have been nice, however. When the maids started cleaning, though, there was no chance of sleep. From the vacuum cleaners to the water running very thin walls& to the chatter between maids, the 'do not disturb'sign really didn't mean very much. The maids really did do a good job. All in all-I'd come back if I worked day shift. I'd come back if traveling. I would not come back if working night shift again.
Hotel is well kept. Room was clean and conmfortable. The free breakfast at the restaurant next door was a nice buffet. Beds weren't bad for a value hotel. The only downside was the stench of cigarette smoke coming from the lobby. Did not see anyone smoking, but obviously someone in management smokes and it really stinks up the lobby. Coming from a state where smoking is not allowed in public businesses, I was a little shocked to smell the smoke. Fortunately the rest of the hotel was smoke free and was actually quite nice.
Nothing There were fleas I asked to move, he said you're going to tell me the same thing if I move you. If that happens then it would mean you have fleas in every room! He pretended to look around the room, doesnt he realize fleas are not going to sit there waiting for him to look at it. It was disgusting and the owner was so rude! I left and went to another hotel!!!
I had no problems with this motel. I phoned early in the day to say I'd be arriving very late, around 1AM, and the lady at the desk was waiting for me. The room was large, the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. I don't think I'd stay there for a vacation, but as an inexpensive one-night stayover during a road trip, it was perfect. I didn't have their breakfast, I don't even know if there was one, but the Bedford Diner across the street offered breakfast for $2.22.
Everything was very dirty. Found crackers and crumbs in the dresser drawers. Bed linens not changed. Not vacuumed and bathroom and vanity area not cleaned. Cobwebs on the ceiling and walls. Drapes badly stained. Non smoking room smelled of old smoke.
the room was very dirty. you could hear traffic all night plus it sounded like someone running in the halls all night. they said free coffee and juice but when we went to get it the next morning everything had a out of order sign on it. only thing i saw for the breakfeast was a little box of donuts that where open with flys in it. the shower was so small my husband couldnt even move in it and the water was brown.
we now refer to this place as the booger hotel due to the boogers on the walls. we had to dry with hand towels since they ran out of bath towels. the room was dirty. the sheets were old and stained. this place is cheap and you will get what you pay for!
Upon arrival I checked the room and refused to stay because the room was not as described and bathroom had mold/mildew on the caulking. When I asked when the remodeling had been done they told me 5 years ago, which in my opinion is not newly remodeled and it shows.
The room was fine considering the price. Staff was super friendly.
This motel is on the old side, but not so bad. We got a microwave/mini fridge at half the price of other places we have stayed in the area. The only complaint I had was I had to unplug something in order to plug in the microwave. I might stay there again.
We stayed at this INN on our way back to OHIO, very clean rooms even behind the dresser we didnt find no debris, trash or food( see when we stayed at the CLARION in Las vegas we found undergarments behind the dresser since then we always check the dresser to find out how these rooms were cleaned) , breakfast was okay but the DENNY's across the street so we didnt eve care about that.Overall really good experience with the staff, helped us out with the direction... If you like fresh smell when you walk in the room stay here..ohh & dont forget to visit the BAR clean & non smoking & the larger area, friendly bar tenders..
The reason why we stayed here was the WiFi( Ohh!!! its super charged),single bed room was small but manager accomodate us in to 2 queen beds, paid lil' extra but it was worth it..few hotels have Wifi that actually works this is the one where WiFi works( Super Fast)..loved it
Simply nice & clean rooms..do i have to say anything more??
By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Terrible 'hosts'. NO ventilation. However we were informed ventilation came from non-existent solar panels in the roof. ?? Considering there was NO bathroom vent, and NO solar panels whatsoever on the ancient, run-down building, I'd say the 'hosts' were liars. Dirty. Very dirty. Crumbs, stained/moldy shower curtain, stained drapes. DONT STAY HERE.
