The house once belonged to Louis XIII, and has been restored to classic style. The living room and breakfast room were very nice. Our bedroom and bath were very large. This is the owner's home, so expect a very warm and hospitable host.
Pros: This is a beautiful French Chateau set in a rural Normandy countryside. The owner was a very gracious host.
Cons: The house is out of the way, but the property and setting is worth the extra time to get there.

Pros: The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and in particlar helped in finding a good countryside walk to do nearby.
Cons: The hotel restaurant is very pricey. For example a starter of a few slices of smoked ham was €14!
Pros: Very individual hotel - an old building, well converted to hotel use. Excelent, very individual breakfasts (no cereals!) with bread, croissants, goats cheese and dozens of different home-made jams.
