10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s lovely- great value for money and the proprietors are nice. I went for a family wedding - my relatives paid a lot more for local accommodation which was more expensive and no better But do arrive at the appointed time 5-6.30 or there maybe no one there. If there isn’t ask at the stables or the creperie - all owned by same people. Highly recommended
Cons: It was good

The hosts Vincent and Carole were wonderful, helpful and professional. Their crepe restaurant next door serves absolutely delicious food which we all loved. We had a great few days and the children loved looking at the horses next door. Highly recommend.
Cons: Shared toilet, however it was squeaky clean and we actually had it to ourselves as no one else was staying in our end of the property.

Pros: Unfortunately our commitments meant that we were unable to take advantage of breakfast as we had to leave too early on each morning. We did eat in the creperie and had a lovely evening!

Au Site Normand - Clecy - Building

8.3 Excellent (228 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Clecy, Au Site Normand is in a rural location, within a 15-minute walk of St. Peter's Church and Clecy Miniature Railway. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A great location and a good sized room
Cons: No AC
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely comfortable room. Right in the centre of Clecy. Car parking easy. Our evening meal goes in to our top 5. This was French cooking at is very best at a very reasonable price. Breakfast first class.
Cons: Could not be faulted.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Being charged twice for the hotel and then taking a month to get my money back
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: The overriding problem was the lack of hot water in our room (Room 2). It took several minutes for the basin tap to run tepid, and we could not get hot water from the shower. We complained, and the hotel assistant eventually managed to get hot water after running the shower for at least five minutes. No attempt was made to remedy the problem. We therefore decided to cut short our stay - which ended in a dispute with the hotel management. I recommend any body to test the hot water before accepting a room at this hotel. I would add that the room itself is small and has inadequate storage space for more than a one night stay.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The room was adequate for our needs.
Cons: The restaurant was closed, the book in time of 5 pm I’m just pleased that it was not raining as we had to sit for two hours despite me advising the we would arrive between 3 & 4. Then you wanted to charge a further 25€ to hold the room for an extra hour as we went kayaking and need to have a shower when we finished. We were a party of 7 disappointed persons.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Comfortable bed, efficient shower.
Cons: Check in times on your website on Sunday were inaccurate, we had a 2hr wait to get in. Our room was not serviced after the first night although we left the card on the door, on complaining the receptionist/manager replaced the tea/coffee etc. Whilst I understand that staff need time off (& it is France!) I would not expect the restaurant in a 3* Logis to be closed on Sunday & Monday evenings in the peak holiday period, especially as there are no other restaurants in the town.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly receptionist when we arrived, who was really helpful and didn't mind us murdering her language, rather than ask her to resort to her (good) English. The room and bathroom were modern, stylish and spotless. The food in the restaurant was really excellent, but be prepared for a surprise! Breakfast was good.
Cons: The accommodation part of the hotel felt a little corporate. The sound insulation between rooms was poor – though this wasn't apparent except for being woken by next door having a shower at 7am.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The evening meal and the breakfast were very good.
6.3 Good
Pros: Easy parking- central town location- restaurant on site- public decor very smart. Good restaurant on site.
Cons: Room decor dated - no air con or fan - room was quite small and airless -shower room old fashioned but it did work ok. No English TV channels - tight spiral staircase to our first floor room and no lift. No balcony. Overall expensive at around £100 for B&B
Chateau Anaselle - Condé-en-Normandie - Building
12
9.3 Excellent (10 reviews)
7.9 Good
Pros: Service was great, good location. The Chateau is in a perfect location for exploring the Suisse Normande. Ellena, Andrew and the children were all lovely and very hospitable.
Cons: On reflection, €35 a head for a BBQ with no dessert or cheese, only water melon, seemed a little steep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place in small village.Lovely couple take care of this fantastic old Château . Close to the museum in Falaise about the civil during the second world war. Gym in he garden is great.
Manoir de Condé B&B Prestige - Condé-en-Normandie - Building

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner and guests in the property was excellent. I really enjoyed staying there. Our kid loved facilities e.g. swimming pool, pingpong table and many things. The best thing about this property is bringing a great memory of France and French culture around this accommodation. It was hard to say goodbye to the owner and other guests.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool and facilities
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities - loads to do for kids - pool we had was great - thanks to Virgil for letting us use a bigger one in adjacent property - that was a very nice touch. Accommodation was great value. Also thanks for tips on things to do in area - we really enjoyed the kayaking arranged from Clecy. Overall a great stay in a very nice part of the world.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The whole property was gorgeous and very well kept, had lots of character. Nice pool available to use
Cons: The little cottage on the property was clean but had but had a bit of a musty smell and interior decor was a bit dark. Would be much better with brighter colours
6.7 Good
Pros: Beautiful property but needs a lot of TLC and is quite a walk out of Conde sur Noieau.
Cons: Although the room was huge and beautiful, same applies - TLC needed!
7.9 Good
Pros: The jacuzzi was absolutely wonderful after that 8 hour drive! The house was massive and perfect for our party, great place to relax away from the city.
Cons: The jacuzzi closed at 2145, only one outdoor pool was open, none of the saunas worked.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice parents who helped serve breakfast and were very welcoming.
Cons: Couldn’t get TV to work
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming place, charming house with swimming pool, spa, charming people good bed and breakfast. I have been more that welcome by Virgile the owner. It was a real pleasure
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation is in an old manor house on the edge of town and retains its 19th century style inside as well as out. The owner gives freely of his personal attention to ensure you get a personal service.
Cons: A little difficult to find over the last half kilometre. Road signs exist at the road junction and the entrance to the property but they are not prominent enough. A pity because it is worth finding.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Where does one start, the Manoir is just beautiful, the facilities are under rated and utterly fantastic. I took my partner, my 12 year old son and his best friend, also 12.. they had the time of their lives. It’s very private and quiet, rural but you can walk into town should you want supper, supermarket or a cold French beer and a haunch of steak and cheese. The kitchen has everything so you can easily prepare your own supper or packed lunch and utilise the fridges/freezer, cooking equipment, they have everything and the hosts couldn’t be more helpful, friendly and wonderful.. we will definitely be back, we are already planning to go back next month. Don’t wish to bleat on as I won’t get a booking, it will be fully booked
Cons: Absolutely nothing

Cons: Warm breads for breakfast and the dinner was good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Well placed hotel for cycling La Velo Francette (first stop after Ouistreham) with good dinner & excellent breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with comfortable chairs. At the end of the corridor there was a rooftop terrace on which one could sit outside. Gastronomic restaurant - the best on our holiday.
Cons: Using the shower required considerable agility as a high step up was needed to enter it (and a big step down when leaving). Suggestion - a simple grab rail on the wall opposite the shower door would ease the situation.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Staff were very nice and the Restaurant evening meals were excellent.
Cons: Would have enjoyed some cereals for breakfast.
6.3 Good
Pros: Central and easy to find. Restaurant attached was excellent although expensive. Staff helpful. Secure storage for bikes.

Cons: Nothing!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The food was excellent , we had dinner in the Restaurant , and I declare it was the best Meal I have ever eaten in France!!! The staff in the Hotel are truly delightful. The Waitress was efficient friendly and very professional...

5.0 Okay
Cons: Cleanliness of room - carpet was past its best and felt dirty and the toilet was dirty round the skirting. I stayed at this hotel a number of years ago but it has gone way downhill since.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lunch, service, staff.
Cons: Slightly cramped en-suite facilities
7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and nice location, plenty of parking space.
Cons: They do not understand breakfast times. Note at reception says 07.30 to ..., but first day no breakfast before 08.00, second day none before 09.00, third day no breakfast at all because no staff was to be seen. Weird.
7.1 Good
Cons: enhancing guests experience rather than maximising profit would improve the hotel.
7.1 Good
Pros: Close to town and the cycle route to Swiss Normandy
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was clean and the bed comfy but there was no air con and the room faced the road which was busy with heavy traffic through the night. We needed to have the window open in order not to overheat. The"ensuite" was a little bizarre, though it was clean, as you stepped into the bedroom the shower cubicle was on the left, meaning you stood in the entrance area to get dried and the toilet and wash basin were behind a door on the right. It was all rather cramped with a further door into bedroom area. The room for breakfast didn't look inviting and neither did the restaurant. The town was a reasonable size, several shopping areas and there were a few options for eating. We went to Anacapri over the road good if a little pricey.
Cons: The lack of air con and the noisy road outside.
4.6 Okay
Pros: It was central and the parking was good
Cons: There was a very nasty smell on arriving, like some nasty disinfectant, I've no idea what but it can't have been 'Air Freshener". The room was VERY cold and took ages to warm up. It is not as though they didn't have our booking well in advance. They should have turned the heating on in the morning. The stains on the carpet were most unpleasant - especially as they wanted €120 for the room. I got it though Booking.com and they had confirmed €106 so at least we paid that but even €106 was GROSSLY too much.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything as expected. Breakfast Ok. Bed OK . Staff pleasant and helpful. Situation very convenient for visiting friends in town by foot.
Cons: Room at front of hotel noisy from 5 am in morning. Passing traffic. No problems at night. Evening meeal not value for money. Meat well cooked but not of a good quality
