Pros: Comfortable beds. En suite. Big tasty breakfast. Hosts were so nice!! Kindly offered to drop us at the wedding venue and just generally were so accommodating!
Cons: It was a little out of Ballyliffin where our wedding was, but would be perfect location for golf course.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner, Mary, accommodated a late change in the number staying with our group. It meant that all of my family were together which we were delighted about (as we don’t get too many of those opportunities anymore). We were in Ballyliffin for a wedding and she drove half the group to the hotel (as we had one person who was driving). In the morning, she made our lovely breakfasts to order and couldn’t have been more helpful. The rooms are v spacious and comfortable.
Cons: I’m not sure if there was WiFi in the bedrooms...but I wasn’t there long enough that it bothered me really.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodations were lovely as was Mary Doherty who was as pleasant and helpful as can be
Cons: I liked it all

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mary is an excellent host and I loved the house.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike about this property. A true Irish experience and being across the road from such beautiful cattle was a bonus.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcoming approach of the owner along with the clean and tidy atmosphere within the property. The breakfast was a very relaxed experience with good food and great service. We were attending a wedding at a local hotel and Mary was more than obliging by transferring our party from the property to the wedding venue.
Cons: The visit did not present any negative aspects.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 8 of us stayed here as we were on a golf vacation. The place was perfect as was our host Mary. We had two days of tee times at Ballyliffin Golf Club. Mary’s place was described as a 7 iron away. She wasn’t kidding. It’s the perfect place for anyone who plans on playing golf at Ballyliffin. On top of great rooms we were treated to a wonderful breakfast each day. We had dinner at the Ballyliffin Golf Club and since we were guests at Mary’s we received a 10% discount on our meals. We couldn’t have asked for a better place!
Cons: There was nothing not to like about this place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mary (the owner) was friendly, helpful and interesting. She told us about the local customs & a little history of the area. Homes buried by sand storm (100 years ago) & are now part of the sand dune landscape. The Irish Oven played within walking distance.
Cons: A little further out than we had thought.

Pros: We stayed here for two nights for the final weekend of the Clonmany Festival, a great place to stay, lovely rooms and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast served with Hilda's homemade Wheaten bread .... if you leave hungry it's your own fault !!. Another little gem of a place we have found in our travels.
Cons: Nothing, liked everything about it, surpassed our expectations :-) ........ except for the Kamikaze wasps everywhere .....the whole of Donegal was plagued with these beer drinking evil little critters in striped jerseys.

Pros: Modern clean spacious room and large bathroom. Convenient Internet connection ports for charging devices in wall by both beds. Comfortable beds and in-room hot water coffee amenities first night. Convenient safe street parking and on site parking. Nice Dining room serving good food. Great staff. Very helpful and friendly.
Cons: No lift. Stairs were difficult for my friend and I who are older but staff carried the luggage up and down, so that was great. No cleaning service for a two day stay. No one cleaned up the coffee cups and coffee station wasn't resupplied with creamer or sugar. There was a hairdryer but no electrical outlet in the bathroom. None. There was only one chair so another chair would be nice so your traveling partner didn't have to sit on the bed. A few hooks in the bathroom would be nice for clothes or your robe.

7.5 Good
Pros: the Staff were lovely and helpful.
Cons: Ranking as a 4 * Hotel it was ok.... the room was comfortable but noisy. There was an air con or noisy fan going all evening. Distinct lack of a view .... at €160 for one night....not great value. Captive audience for a wedding.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was stunning very nice inside and outside the owner was a really nice man very kind.
Cons: The girl at reception was very rude, the hotel alarm went off at all hours in the morning which kept me and my friend up all night we got 2 hours sleep maximum.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, facilities ,staff ,restaurant and bar, really lovely place to stay
Cons: It's a wedding venue so if I was to book again I would ask if theres a wedding on as it was noisey most of the night . I'm glad they enjoyed there wedding
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The coastal location is unique and beautiful. The staff were friendly and very welcoming.
Cons: My husband forgot his toothbrush. Reception could not provide one. In a chi-chi hotel of this kind, you would expect to be provided, on demand, with a little toiletry package containing a toothbrush, toothpaste and disposable razor. It costs virtually nothing to the hotel and makes all the difference to a guest. The hospitality tray could have done with an upgrade too. Please provide high end biscuits and coffee bags (not just instant). A pile of abandoned toys in an adjacent room was not a particularly attractive adornment to a wedding ceremony. Your extravagant, self-complimenting blurb leaves you a hostage to fortune if you slip up on the details.
7.5 Good
Pros: Generally all aspects of my stay where good no complaints.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the whole place.
5.0 Okay
Cons: I am 8 months pregnant and stayed here on the 31st of August. I had stayed a few years back and was really looking forward to a relaxing stay with my husband. It was far from relaxing as I got barely any sleep. We where in room 118 which must have been directly about the wedding disco. There was just 2 single beds in our room which we would have preferred a double. I payed €198 for this stay and came home feeling exhausted. We had looked forward to it so much as the food is great and lovely spot as well as having great staff but this was very disappointing. Especially at this price. We had considered going back with our little girl and baby Over Christmas holidays but i doubt it now as we wouldn’t want to be up half the night.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: Staff Service
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The food was good! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff! Lovely location! Excellent value for money!
Cons: Discoloured radiator in bathroom with rust like stains..
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: No red bull drink

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff,good location.
Cons: Bed rooms a bit dated.
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and the location is picturesque.
Cons: The family rooms are much too small. We booked a family room, specified for a 9 month old and a 3 year old. The room had 2 double beds in and a travel cot, which was still folded up. We soon realised there was nowhrre to put the travel cot other than at a spot right by the door, which was drafty and noisy in the middle of the night, so baby ended up in bed with me, which didn't lead to a night's sleep for either of us. Additionally, staff were thin on the ground, it was hard to get served or check in/out. We also had an issue re: allergens in food.
