Pros: Super friendly, family owned hotel. My French is poor, but we got along fine! Hope to come back.
Cons: Perfect stay, nothing not to like.
Pros: Jacques greeted us with enthusiasm and grace and gave us a detailed tour of our room. He also provided some hand-knit booties to wear since the room was very comfy but the floors a bit cool. I loved wearing them. Breakfast was good, served in the dining room with a beautiful view of the woods and the birds at the feeders. We chose this hotel because of it's location on our long drive from Austria to Paris. We had no idea that Amneville was a big tourist attraction, and as we were looking for the hotel we were thinking- what in the world did we get ourselves into? Imagine our relief and delight to find this oasis of comfort and sweetness. It is truly a gem and I highly recommend.
Pros: I would give 10 stars! The staff/owners were so wonderful - true pride in ownership. The breakfast was delicious and they make the confitures (jams) themselves in house as well as the yogurt. It was super quiet. You have a view of gorgeous pine trees and a multitude of birds. Even their little dog Teddy was super nice and cute. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.
Pros: Delicious, lot of home made products
Pros: Very pleasant owner just a shame didn't get what we expected certainly the room we were given was not like the photos advertising. Shower room and toilet were good and clean. It's located in an area great for families loads of restaurants to choose from, there's a zoo, casino, zip line ( like Go Ape) a simulator, ski slope, etc all in a woodland environment
Cons: Very disappointed after reading rave reviews. We made our booking for a large double bedded room. What we got rm 3 was a small fairly dark room with 2 single electric beds pushed together (was it an OAP room?) Could hear noise from rooms above/next door. Toiletries provide were poorest I've seen 2 small sachets ( like free magazine samples) shower gel. Towels looked washed out tatty & grey in colour.

Pros: The bed!!! So comfortable
Pros: Very clean and spacious
Cons: Shared toilet and bathroom Tip: check what you are charged, I was charged a bit more then on the bill.
Pros: The whole feel of the place was perfect. So was the beautiful
Pros: Clean, peaceful and nice. A bit hard to find it, but what you get inside is really good.
Cons: Bathroom was shared with owners. To be 100% place to stay bathroom should be private. As soon you are ok with that as a customer, there is nothing else to expect. Place is perfect.
Pros: A really lovely welcome with delightful hosts
Cons: Sharing toilet facilities ..... though they were excellent facilities .
Pros: Very friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable and tastefully furnished room, fantastic breakfast!
Cons: We were a bit surprised by the fact the bathroom and WC was shared with the owners, but that was only because we had overlooked this fact in the description! Not a big problem for us.

Pros: The staff were very nice, room was clean and comfortable
Cons: The location was a very busy complex, plenty of things to do if that’s what you want though. The car park was massive but so busy we couldn’t park very close which was annoying when we left really early in the morning
Pros: Clean, comfortable, nice decor, comfortable beds and pillows, plenty of towels. We just needed a place to crash for the night and this was a cheap option. Didn't expect much given the price but this was a very well run hotel. Even the coffee in the room was great!
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, parking place
Pros: Excellent rooms, very good staff and superb breakfast. We arrived on motorbikes and they could only be left outside reception but they were under a canopy. Good hotel on a new leisure complex with food restaurants close by
Cons: Could do with it’s own restaurant and more secure parking but nothing really bad about it

Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: The hotel is in a entertainment park, zoo, swimming pool, bowling, play areas, walking and cycling routes with restaurants for all needs.
Pros: Very comfortable beds, quiet room and frienfly staff
Pros: The room, the location and the staff. Excellent value for money

Pros: Lovely location in woods. Friendly staff, good breakfast. The restaurant was closed when we stayed but there was another Logis hotel 200m away which had a great menu and welcoming staff. As they are the same group you can eat on either restaurant.
Pros: Restaurant next to hotel
Cons: No parking
Cons: very average quality. depressing reception area. old fashioned and worn out room finishes and hotel accomodation as a whole. price quality balance is out of the normal purely since it's close to the zoo.
Pros: The trees and the big shower We also ordered sushi which was really top for that price
Cons: No airco / No ventilator No fridge in the room
Pros: Staff were very friendly..
Cons: Rooms could use some updating. The location was very remote, and we didn't realize that when we booked the room. It was hot at night and we couldn't open the door to get fresh air. Only one restaurant was open that evening (Monday) and although the food was reasonably good, it was the only choice.
Pros: The reception the person who was on duty surly did not enjoy the job
Pros: Baby cot all nicely installed in our room when we checked in, breakfast good, very kind lady got us some milk and cocoa for our 2.5 year old and washed his bottle when he had finished.

Pros: The staff was really kind.
Cons: The room was quite small.
Pros: The area.
Cons: Not being able to have a meal at the hotel.
Pros: The hotel was clean in s good location with eateries around the area being well within walking distance. The staff were very helpful and polite. I would recommend anyone to stay there without any hesitation.
Cons: I believe the breakfast selection could be better. More meat cheese and cereals selection would be beneficial.
Pros: breakfast good, fresh bread and plenty of everything
With a stay at Hotel Campanile Metz Nord - Talange in Talange, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Amneville Zoo and Centre Pompidou-Metz. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Comfortable rooms . Size of rooms were comparatively bigger
Cons: Bed wasn’t very comfortable not a big problem
Pros: The staff were very helpful, they even found me an adaptor to recharge my kindle! They spoke perfect English much better than my French.
Pros: The restaurant for evening meal had a good atmosphere. Service was friendly and meal good value and well presented.
Cons: Nothing really. The room was what we expected. If anything the scambled eggs and bacon could have kept supplied. Otherwise all good.
Pros: Location is perfect when you’re just passing through and need a place to stay close to the freeway. Close to the D’Amneville Zoo as well (15 minute drive) which was a plus. Lidl, Aldi and nice pizzeria at walking distance.
Cons: Breakfast options were limited. Air ventilation made a lot of noise, which was bothersome during the night.
Pros: Convenient, clean, staff friendly and able to speak in a few languages. Tea facilities in the room.
Cons: Restaurant closed
Pros: Everything you could ask for. Staff are very friendly, beds very comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
Cons: My room smelt of cigarettes and I did not ask for a smoking room
With a stay at Résidence des Sources in Amneville, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Amneville Zoo and Thermapolis. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Spacious studio apartment, with balcony overlooking forest. Peaceful setting. Well equipped kitchen area. Convenient for motorway, yet tranquil setting. Nearby forest walks to small lake.
Cons: Stayed off-season, so several of the nearby restaurants were closed. Self-catering but no mini-supermarket on site.
Pros: Very cosy, friendly staff, excellent pet policy
Cons: The WiFi connection could be improved
Pros: Fab location for amneville amenities walking distance to pool, zoo, aquarium etc. Plenty of parking (free) easy check in (all automated) and we were able to check in early. Nice outdoor sieve and good to have kitchenette. Fridge was full sized and very clean. Good wifi.
Cons: Quite dated / tired, not the cleanest place we've stayed e.g the cutlery was unwashed, towels were stained and the mattresses were really thin and not particularly comfy
Pros: The fact that the room had a kitchenette was very useful.
Cons: We didn’t see anyone at all it’s like the hotel was abandoned. Everything very dirty, even in the room balcony very poor cleaning. Furniture very old. Not a very good mattress. Towels with big holes and not very white. There’s no cleaning ladies that go to the rooms on a daily basis, so no clean towels.
Pros: We were fully reimbursed for one night and offered one free breakfast for having had a flood from the heating system in our room at 11 o'clock in the evening which took until 1 a.m. to resolve (no free rooms to be moved to). Luckily, we had no stuff on the floor in that room.
Cons: In the first night, there was a flood in one of our rooms from the heating system. We could reach the management on the phone to report it only after having tried for at least an hour and a half - as there is no one at the reception after 17h. So if you find you need an extra blanket or pillow or there is no soap in your shower soap dispenser at 21h, you cannot request it. Throughout our visit the heating produced a strange noise at night waking us up every time. The rooms are not particularly clean, especially the shower, the windows, and the balcony. Although our room was non-smoker, it smelled quite a lot of cigarettes. There are no proper duvet covers for the blankets to be inserted into (1 layer sheets only). The staff at the reception take very long to respond to the bell ring present at the reception. I waited for 20 minutes (!) on one occasion.
Pros: This hotel is located off the motorway in a forest with nice walking paths and services, such as all types of restaurants, like sushi, Japanese, thai, pizzeria...etc if you are hungry. There is a lot of space to park for free, is ideal for walking with the dog and is worth the money considering the space (bedroom+kitchenette+wc+bathroom) you get. This was our 2nd stay and this time our room was very modern, very clean. A very nice breakfast was offered in a marine theme breakfast room, an experience in itself, at least for me who likes the sea.
Cons: There could have been more information on the booking.com website about the key automate, if arriving after 18 as we did. I worried for nothing because this automate was easy to use, probably faster than a normal check-in.

Amid a large park, it has an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, bar and modular meeting rooms. For a relaxing stay with the family, the hotel is close to Walygator, zoo and thermal baths. Enclosed private parking offered 50 meters from Tesla terminals. Hotel has fiber.
Pros: Dog friendly hotel located just off the A31 near Metz. Good size room with tea & coffee making facilities. Free parking. Friendly and helpful morning staff on check out.
Cons: Collection of 250 Euro deposit on arrival! Attempt to overcharge for the room on checkout (although corrected when challenged!). Awaiting the refund of deposit taken on arrival! No dedicated check in desk - had to find a busy staff member to check in on arrival who was not very accommodating!
Pros: Very family friendly. Nice restaurant. Room well equipped
Cons: Quite noisy as close to the highway.
Pros: Very good evening meal, excellent fillet steak and the chocolate profiteroles were sublime. Great breakfast with excellent Croissants
Pros: The hotel room was nice and very clean, with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast was very good, with a wide choice of food on offer. There's a small park with a playground and an open-air pool behind the hotel, There you can play table tennis, volleyball, petanque or even basketball. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to friends, especially to those who have children.

Pros: In sort of mini forrest. Charming, nice beds, nice breakfast. Good address for a nights stay while travelling home
Cons: Difficult to find where it was located
Pros: Friendliness of the staff at the breakfast
Cons: Quality of the breakfast: rolls were not fresh, very limited choice of cheese (and that in France), no fresh yoghurt
Pros: Welcoming entrance. Good location in which to break our journey. Good value for money.
Cons: Bizarre decor. Indifferent food. Super hard bed.
Pros: Nice and quiet location at the edge of the woods. Friendly staff. No extra charges for my dog. Excellent breakfast!

With a stay at Best Hotel Hagondange/Amneville in Hagondange, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Amneville Zoo and Centre Pompidou-Metz. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good price/quality ratio. Old hotel, basic rooms. Good for a night when travelling.
Cons: The corridors doesn't smell pleasant. The rooms needs a make-over.
Pros: We stayed just one night (travelling back home from holidays). Price is fine/fair. Beds (although only 1.40m) are fine.
Cons: Very old hotel, not renovated since 1990's i can imagine. Most likely it was a nice hotel back then, currently 100% outdated. The city itself is totally dead, many shops are closed and up for rent. Don't go here if you like to spend a few days in this area.
Cons: The hotel is laud inside and outside with outdated insulation, so was not possible to rest. The windows cannot be opened partially or tilted to have fresh air gap. The room was perfumed to suppress the previous cigarette smell. The daily rates might seem low however in my opinion this hotel does not maintain the modern hotel standards to match the price to utility ratio! I personally would not stay there the second time.
Pros: Comfortable mattress, . Car parking onsite. Decent sized room and ensuite. Its a typical white textured walls hotel but they had decorated it in other colours. Pleasant receptionist. Easy to find and access from main route.
Cons: Very small flat pillows with no extras to top up. The shower curtain was stained by its age and needed replacing.
Pros: Easy to reach - have an exterior parking - owner prepared nice coffee for us in the evening
Cons: very old building - rooms are cold and you need to adjust the vintage style radiator manually- breakfast is not good at all The owner doesn't speak English and instead of appreciating my "poor french", he kept using very advanced and local french words and it is very uncomfortable feeling.
Pros: For the price, it met my expectations.
Cons: The hotel was outdated, it was surprising that there were no elevators and the doors were difficult to open and close. The hallways were dark and uninviting. I understand that often website pictures look better than reality but in this instance they were very misleading.
Pros: The (female) receptionist was friendly and helpful. Large car-park.
Cons: There is a large car-park but be careful not to park in the manager/owner's place - he will tell you to move. This place is just about acceptable as an overnight stay, but not worth the money, not friendly (except for the female receptionist who was only there for a short time), and at the time there was no restaurant and a long walk to find a place to eat.
Pros: location close to a nice lake. reception open until 22h. toilet separate from bath
Cons: cannot open the window because it is blocked by the bed. room was very hot. room was smelly.
Pros: View at the lake - with supl. payment.
Cons: Small beds, rooms is very cold!! Only one radiator (and it's not for wet towels). No kitchen

Pros: Very friendly and helpful service when we arrived. The room was comfortable.
Cons: We paid for breakfast and, while the food was fine, the coffee machine produced only hot water with milk, and there was no-one to ask for assistance.
Pros: Way too basic for a 7 euro
Cons: Reception but I was late
Pros: I loved the décor and the room was spacious and comfortable
Cons: The Shower, Toilet was a bit small but functional.
Pros: Staff was friendly Close to the highway Good for stopover
Cons: Facilities could need some renovation Room was badly soundproofed
Pros: Booked for one night and everything was fine. Clean, comfortable bed and the staff was really helpful.
Pros: Friendly people in the locality, clean neighbourhood.
Cons: Within convenient walking distances the only food available was pizza in restaurants and takeaway. That I could find.
Pros: Comfortable room. Very fresh continental breakfast. Helpful with free parking. Fabulous food at the nearby restaurant La Resto de Babeth ££-£££.
Cons: No service at reception in the morning. Some restaurants closed for holidays but trip advisor said still open - very annoying, until we tried La Resto...! .

Cons: Horrible cigarettes odor in both rooms.
Pros: Locationwise this hotel is the place to go always for me.
Cons: Nothing really to mention.
Pros: As ever, everything you need for a stop-over. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast area. Good value breakfast - cereals, breads, yoghurt, hot and cold drinks for E5. Close to motorway but took us a couple of attempts to find down a side-road on an industrial estate adjecent to a big commercial area. Plenty of on-site free parking. Staff were friendly and welcoming at breakfast.
Cons: Cigareete ends on the exterior walkways, staircase and grounds added to a somewhat grubby appearance.
With a stay at Hotel du Triangle in Talange, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Amneville Zoo and Centre Pompidou-Metz. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: All within expectations.
Pros: Heater worked well. Internet good when got the code. Appeared clean.
Cons: Squeaky bunks kept waking me up when kids moved through the night. No door on shower. Poor lighting. Lose tap in toilet. Place looked very worn out. Hard to find on GPS. Only 2 towels for 4 of us. Had to go back downstairs and ask for internet code.
Cons: Hookers in the hotel, noise all night
Pros: There was parking free of charge
Cons: The rooms were meant to be non smoking but the smell of smoke was so bad it hurt my throat and my clothes smelt really bad. Guests must be cheeky and smoke in the rooms all day and night. The walls were stained from smoke. The pillows are no more than 7cm thick and rock solid. The fire alarm also went off at 2am which didn't help when trying to sleep. Wont be coming back here again.
