The location was very close to all the main spots to visit. Everything was in walking distance. I had a room at the back and it was very quiet, although the hotel is on a busy road. The hotel has a nice charm to it and the rooms are OK with the same charm. My bathroom was a little dated, but functioned perfect. The hotel has no parking, but they will inform you on cheap options close by on your arrival.

Beautiful building with old tiles, easy access by car without having to drive the steep, narrow streets, comfortable pillows and bed, English language tv channels
The WiFi worked fine when we checked in at 5pm and until about 10pm, but then everything stopped loading. The hot water was temperamental - working for a minute then going cold and taking ages to warm up again

Nice location close to the river and not far from downtown. Helpful staff.
Can't pay by card. I have to pay with cash and have to fine some ATM to pick up money. I hate cash payment. No air-condition.

The staff were so helpful and delivered excellent service.
The corridor's leading to rooms were very noisy, woken in the early hours of the morning by returning guests. Didn't get the room that was advertised.

Really well located, just 5 mins walk from everything you need to see in Coimbra. Historical building with a nice staff and design taste.
The floor is very noisy, being quite old as it is an historical building. The shower is very (too) small. Could have been cleaner. Generally, it is a good stay for one night but maybe not for more.
