Friendly staff and good location Bed was broken and noisy. Towels are old.
character and privacy of the rooms we had, good bed! could be cleaner .... microwave was dirty, dust was thick in obvious places
I liked the location. For the price it was a good spot to stay. I could not open the shower knob.
Price was right. Friendly staff. Nothing.
price is good.. nice and clean had a dried up spider on sofa chair.. being i have spider phobia it was uncomfortable..
The website said there was 24 hr desk service, but when we called to let then know we wouldn't arrive until 3am, we were told the doors would be locked. However, the manager told us to call when we arrived and he would come and open up and he did in 5min
Cheap and cheerful OK for 1 night. Nearest food is a pizza restaurant near by and a chinese restaurant across the road.
Room was clean and staff were friendly. We needed the room just to sleep after seeing a show at Rama and it met our needs.
Best little motel in Orillia Small clean rooms Beds extra comfortable and lots of amenities in the room. Owners really friendly and price is right This is not a 5 star high end motel. It is a clean well run friendly family business
The smell of the room
NO SURPRISES. Fit in as much stuff as they can in a small room including a small fridge and a one cup coffee maker. Bed was fairly comfortable. Small flat screen tv with lots of channels. It is a 1 star so for that it is not bad. Very plain looking and no charm whatsoever. Renovations were not done very well. It was clean though and the bed was not bad. Room was small and the bathroom is very small. Carpet looked newer. Somewhere to sleep but not hang around.
Location was nice being on the water. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice. We got what we expected for the price. Room smelt a it musty
It's location and the bed was comfy. We booked it just to sleep in so it served the purpose. Our room was in the back in a bunky. The paint was old, peeling and not painted in some spots. There was bugs smeared on the walls. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain. There was a water heater open in the bathroom with mould on the ceiling above it.
The location was the only good thing about this hotel. It was suppose to be a smoking room, omg, open the windows, drapes missing hooks/ends.No smoke detector, water tank in bathroom with no window and a none working fan.very dirty walls in hallway door jam, space in wall in bathroom leaves nearby.
The location was very close to Casino Rama, and the lake side view was beautiful, The bath room vent, when you turned on the bathroom lights it was automatic the vent comes on too,and it sounded like it was going to explode on you while you were doing your business in there,
The fact that it was had a waterfront view with a balcony to sit on The windows were dirty could not see out it is old although they have treid to fix it up also it cannot be found on the GPS by plugging in Orillia because it is actually in a small village named RAMA (or something like that)
Area Smoke smell
Not much. It was very over priced. It was an older motel that needs a big facelift. It was a place to sleep, not much more. We had our grandson with us and I was not sure I wanted him playing on the floor. The carpet needed a good shampoo. Towels rough, bedding gray. Not a good experience.
The room was poor furmitued, not very clean and the beds were bad.
Clean, convenient with fridge and microwave and the staff is excellent.
O.K. No bad language. We found the room clean and comfortable. We stayed in room 127, we noticed the bath seemed to be partially blocked.Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay. We were visiting family and will probably come and stay again. I can't think of anything.
the closeness to the pow wow
they had instant coffee and a water boiler prepared for us in the room besides the standard microwave / tv / refrigerator
