The breakfast was made to order! The shower pressure was a bit low
Although it was a bed and breakfast I asked for dinner on both nights of my stay and got a great home cooked meal. Very friendly place to stay loved it
Friendly, personable proprietors. Spotlessly clean, pleasant room, comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Small shower cubicle, mediocre water pressure with only acceptably warm rather than piping hot water
Lovely warm rooms in a modern building with amazing Shakespearean decor. Good to see Fair Trade tea, biscuits and coffee. None
Fantastic owners, very helpful and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble, I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. I have already recommended it to friends and will definitely be staying there again. I don't normally comeplete these reviews but have made an exception for this hotel. Ordinary looking buiding, that's all I can think of.
Small hotel was like home from home. Hotel owners very hospital and helpful. We will not hesitate to stay there again when visiting the nec Only 1 minor - the toilet seat in the bathroom needed fixing more securely.
Comfortable, pleasant room; exceptionally friendly owners Breakfast...not exactly to my taste but not unpleasant and certainly filling
Very clean and friendly None
I read a few of the reviews before I stayed at the location. I was in room 7, which was clean and tidy, but near to the kitchen area. Staff took their break outside and due to thin walls, conversation could be easily heard. No real noise after closing time. The matress was a little soft for my liking and uncomfortable in places (possibly getting near to being in need of replacement). Breakfast was simple but ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Stayed in room 7. The bed was soft and uncomfortable in places.
Location convenient to NAC Stoneleigh Park Bathroom was poorly-ventilated and damp
Very relaxing night at the hotel prior to an exam. The food was excellent and staff very friendly.
We were using it for a base to visit the Trade fair at the NEC and so was ideal as we were not looking for accommodation with lots of facilities for what we needed no
evening meal great continental breakfast lrft a lot to be desired
Our reservation had been double booked by Booking.com. The owners were extremely helpful and managed to relocate other guests to 'overflow' accommodation off site so that we were able to be accommodated.
Very compy room, clean and nicly decorated Complete mayhem at Breakfast on the Sunday they seemed suprised to be serving at all. We had to ask for everything from bread butter to cornflakes tea coffee & milk. Very little choice and a member of staff who clearly found it an inconvience also there were still dirty glasses on the table from the night before
We liked the proxomity of the hotel to the event we weer attending, and we liked the services provided by the hotel which meant we didnt have to travel further
Good location and good sized room. Bar food good. Breakfast poor. Cooked breakfast no longer supplied. Sachets of Nescafé coffee and hot water.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was decorated nicely and all the facilities worked as they should. The breakfast (included in the price), was good as was the food served in the pub in the evening. No bad points to think of.
excellent location, superb old building. Would have been nice to have had time to wander round the grounds. Owners very helpful It would have been useful to have a sign on the roadway as it was easy to miss the entrance to the farm
Fabulous location with fabulous views, quality accommodation in huge room with own separate bathroom, wonderful host and hostess - felt more like old friends than proprietors and a stunningly good breakfast! None
