Very, very close to the old city and the monastry The breakfast offers little choice
It is conveniently situated near Euroforum, where i was attending a medical meeting The room was rather small for 2 persons.
Ideal situation for the Valley of the Fallen and the Monastery of El Escorial, in fact the hotel is opposite and some rooms have excellent views. Staff are very helpful and the rooms large and comfortable. Parking is difficult. Some Pay and display spaces are available opposite.
The location couldn't have been better to see the Monastery. The wifi was very good The walls are so thin you could hear your neighbors talk and laugh. It wasn't too funny at 1:30 in the morning.
Free wifi Breakfast is starts late.
Proximity to El Escorial. Minibar was locked and we were not given a key. No free tea and coffee available as stated in the brochure.
optional Breakfast was poor value
Excellent Food + Fast Internet + Very quiet + Very helpful staff. Sadly, we were the only people staying at the hotel. However, there were quite a few people taking dinner in the restaurant. Dinner starting at 9.00pm is a little late for a UK clientele.
We had a really relaxing break here. The staff were great, it was really clean and the sitting areas were lovely. We ate here on two evenings. The food was fantastic but it was a pity the same set menu was served on both nights. The hotel was in a slightly bizarre setting on the outskirts of Cerebros. The outside of the building is not attractive but the inside is nice. No complaints, though. Would go back and stay again.
The hotel was excellent in all respects. Our room was attractive with a beautiful view of the countryside and the mountains in the distance. Our dinner was very good although we were the only patrons that particular night. Breakfast was continental and adequate. Absolutely no complaints at all.
little english spoken but staff very friendly & a phrase book works wonders. good views from room. food very good. easy access from Madrid [40mins]
Quiet pleasant location, easy to find. Although situated next to a sport complex this was not a problem, We booked a twin room and the bathroom was well provided with toiletries. As the hotel had a cooking school we were disappointed with the dinners but they were reasonably priced, but breakfasts were fine.Staff were so helpful although english was very limited. Anna the receptionist was a gem,Would certainly stay again if in the area
great food and wine, helpful and friendly people, simple but tasteful interior, location off the typical tourist track no terrace (yet?), construction site, no swimming pool
They need to have the availability for late check out if applicable for the traveller...
Central position of hotel Entrance to car park very narrow. No restaurant/bar open at night, nothing to say breakfast times.
location small room
Conveniently close to the City centre and 10mins from the Palace.
Excellent value for money, plenty of typically spanish restaurants closeby, nice room and bathroom with whirpool in the bathtube. Very honest breakfast. The restaurant is closed on Monday. Easy to park the car. nothing
Staff was very nice and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Restaurant is good and not too expensive (I had for dinner a huge dish full of grilled vegetables, a big salad with letice, tomato, sweet corn, tuna, eggs and sparragus plus a cup of tea, all for 20 euros VAT included. It was enough for two). Most important: This hotel has its own parking (I only recommend it for small cars. But There is a big public parking very close in next street)
Visited El Escorial
The hotel was nice & clean & nice little town. Easy walk to everything.
The room was really nice, everything was clean and comfortable . Breakfast was good with lots of choices and the staff was friendly. The hotel is located only a couple of hundred meters from the bus station and close to the famous monastery of San Lorenzo. Some of the staff, even receptionists spoke only Spanish, which is a bit strange since they welcome people from all over the world and have a natural heritage on their doorstep, attracting a lot of different visitors.
Excellent place to stay outside of Madrid (with a car). The price was right, it was clean and quiet, and the village of Navalcarnero is a delight to boot. I am very pleased that we stayed there instead of the center of Madrid (actually, we didn't even bother with Madrid itself on this trip.) By the way, we don't understand the comments from people who had trouble finding the place, as it is located directly next to the highway, right under a huge sign saying its name. It would be difficult not to find it. nothing
Parking facilities Located close to the highway. Very hard to find it. The address on the Booking.com-site was impossible to find — even with a GPS.
We enjoyed the quiet peaceful small village. The room was no frills, but it was nice. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and it was great. The staff was very friendly. And the food was very good. We are very glad we stayed there. No, not really.
great dane friendly hotel, good restaurant, magic atmosphere, helpfull staff, very nice room - I'm sure that I'll back there! The worst parking which I've ever seen :)
