Pros: Great location, very clean and contemporary. Cool room.
Cons: The price was too high. I understand that it's the location you're paying for, but $--- on a Sunday night (with tax) is still too high to me. Bikes were available no charge but you couldn't use them after dark. No breakfast buffet.
Cons: Tv didn't work properly
Pros: The Staff are very friendly and informative. The design of the hotel is Beautiful and unique. Love the location, within walking distance of all the restaurants, beach and attractions. The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable.
Pros: I loved the cleanliness of this hotel. It was super clean and quiet. My husband and I needed a getaway and this hotel was PERFECT. One block from the beach and boardwalk. Would absolutely stay here again.
Cons: The only thing that was disappointing is the size of the TV's in the room. The room was beautiful but the TV's need an upgrade ASAP.
Pros: I thought the Hotel was an attractive modern boutique hotel and was at least a 3 star. My room was spacious, attractive and very clean. I liked the room fireplace and the fact that there was a good sized shower. Lobby with pool table and foosball also a +

Pros: The bed was comfortable, the water always hot, the staff called to make sure I arrived safe and offered patience and help in finding my way there. My room was incredibly clean and I felt like a home away from home.
Pros: Very beautiful rooms, small but efficient and comfortable. Nice pool. Staff was very friendly. Beach passes were included. Short walk from the beach. Enjoyed every second of our stay.
Pros: The employees are very nice, the place is impeccably clean, and the beach passes are a definite plus!
Cons: Could hear the neighbors once in a while when we were in the bathroom, so we knew they could hear us. However, this was not too bad and didn't happen so often.
Pros: Great staff. They were very accommodating to our needs. They even upgraded our room to suite (bigger space)) since they had a vacant (weekday) and we had a small child.
Cons: No complain
When visiting Point Pleasant Beach, Shore Point Motel is a great choice to consider. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks.
Pros: Although I was ther for just one night I found the entire experience very confortable. Great accommodations , pleased that they allow pets. Next time I am at the jersey shore I will stay there again

Cons: The front desk person kept disappearing and people trying to check in were asking me if there was anyone working
I asked for a cork screw and front desk refused to look for one and said "we don't have any" and then tried to give me scissors to "break into" my wine- never once said I will make the suggestion to my manager to have one on hand for guess
Pros: The room was very clean. Very friendly people working desk . Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the morning breakfast was very nice.
Cons: Paying $3 for a bottle of water from there snack center.

Pros: We liked that the room was clean and the hotel itself appeared nice.
Cons: Our room was right at the top of the stairs, and the bar directly at the bottom of the stairs was incredibly loud with club music and drunk people yelling. The view out of our window was barbed wire and a wall. I felt like they put us in the worst possible room because we booked it through an outside site instead of directly through them.
When visiting Freehold, American Hotel is a great choice to consider. You can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge, and the restaurant is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. Nice touches like iPod docks, bathrobes, and pillowtop beds with Egyptian cotton sheets are offered up in all rooms.
Pros: Lobby was clean and comfortable with ample seating and a fireplace.
Cons: No free breakfast , restaurant only which cost extra. Checkout for our stay was noon and at 10am the housekeeper barged in without warning, no knock, or announcement.
Pros: Pool, workout room, staff was great in answering any questions we had.

Pros: Must say ... better then I thought. Reminded me of Clevelander back in the day .
Pros: Across the street from the beach, next to the Stone Pony, super comfortable beds, great staff!
Cons: Could be cleaner
From our well-appointed rooms to our poolside tiki huts world-class dance club we are setting the standard for Asbury Park the Empress Hotel has 101 rooms in a glorious ocean setting located across the street from the Atlantic Ocean and adjacent to historic Ocean Grove. Together with the Paradise Nightclub and Tabu Restaurant The Empress is part of one of New Jerseys largest and most exciting entertainment complexes.
Cons: Floors are thin. Was constantly woken up during the middle of the night
Pros: Really enjoyed the nightly live music events in the lobby/bar area! The hotel is also about 3 blocks from the Boardwalk, and a 5 minute drive to downtown Asbury Park, where there are some great little restaurants and bars. Just an excellent location. The rooms have a very "college" vibe, but are bright, homey, and comfortable. You can also order food delivered directly to your room from a local place called JR's, which has a large menu and pretty good food.
Pros: Location was excellent - hotel bar, lounge areas, entertainment options and pool, etc. were great.
Cons: Our room was on the small side and was missing basic things like a coffee maker. I like the modern look, but the room wasn't upscale modern, it felt very ikea modern. So for the week-day rate/deal I got, it was fine, but I wouldn't have wanted to pay any more for the room we had.
Pros: The design of the hotel is beautiful. Fells very west coast and has great access to the beach.
Cons: Rooms are really small and do not have anything like, coffee machine, fridge, or microwave. Also no adjoining rooms in the hotel.
Pros: 1. Location.
4. Friendliness of staff
5. Size of bathroom
6. The rooftop lounge: Gorgeous views over the entire city. It's nice that there is a separate entrance than the hotel to get to the lounge.
Cons: 1. The room decor looked like it was Ikea. Clean lines, but looked cheap.
2. Poor design of shower. Nice big bathroom. I liked the tile. Note that my bathroom had a standup shower, not a tub (I'm not sure of all rooms though). The water from the showerheard must have exceeded the drains ability to drain, because by the time I was done, the towel I placed on the floor was soaked!!! Not moist but soaked. The threshold may not have had enough heights.
3. I was in my room until sometime in afternoon. The cleaning people knocked and said I wasn't ready, but they never came back. Not that I'm particulary smelly so it didn't matter much, but it would have been nice to have come back to a made bed.
The Asbury features a nightclub and a rooftop terrace. After having fun at the outdoor pool, you can grab a bite to eat at the coffee shop/café or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. A poolside bar and a seasonal outdoor pool are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like rainfall showerheads and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: Pleasant Staff, nice facility, well maintained courtyard area with grill.
Cons: Pool area not managed well. No towels, did not tidy up the area.

Pros: I was a very nice stay. Courtyards aren't usually top tier so that's why I gave it 4 stars however it was nice and clean and comfortable.
Cons: The pool was freezing cold and really needs a heater and the whirlpool had far too much chlorine which made me feel a little sick after use.
Pros: Great value for the cost. Not many dining options nearby, but Wawa across street offers a surprising variety of healthier grab-and-go options.

Cons: Walls are paper-thin.
Pros: Friendly staff. Large rooms with great view.
Cons: Walls must be thin and doors slam shut which woke me up at 3:00am!

Cons: The type of customers that stayed at the hotel at the same time we did were shady looking characters. I honestly worried about my wife and children on a couple of occasions when I left them in the room to pick up a few things. the guests staying above us were loud and disruptive on the night we stayed. The were "partying" till about 2:30am. The front desk was unresponsive and when called did nothing to address the situation, as a result my wife went upstairs and respectfully requested that they keep it down as we had two young children attempting to sleep. We then received a call from the front desk saying that we were not to disturb the guests and if we "disturbed" the guests again we would have to check out and the police would be called. We were baffled! The grounds were filthy and we had to have our room changed because of the smell of our initial room. Dont stay here, if you do remember: "I told you so!"
There is so much to see and do near our newly renovated Red Roof Inn Neptune. Six Flags Great Adventure is 24 miles away, enjoy more family fun at Wild Safari also located at Six Flags, Keansburg Amusement Park is also nearby and offers enchanting fun for kids of all ages. If you are feeling lucky, head to the Monmouth Park Racetrack, where you can place your bets on thoroughbred horses. We are close to Monmouth Beach and other Jersey Shore beaches and Jersey Shore Premium Outlet Mall is just 2 miles from our hotel.
Cons: No room service or restaurant open after 10 during the week
Pros: KUDOS!!! The staff was excellent! My stay was fantastic! Outstanding customer service skills! Great customer experience!
Cons: Off season or non peak prices could be a little less. I would have loved to stay two nights.
Pros: Tough to beat the location - right on the beach and next to the boardwalk.
Cons: Service everywhere was awful - front desk, pool bar, room service, you name it. Food and drinks were really bad too and over-priced. My advice is to book a room on sale and just use the hotel for its beach access, towels, and clean room. Do everything else outside of the hotel.
Pros: Rooftop pool. Tiki bar.
Cons: My account was charged in error for dinner at the hotel restaurant that I never had. It was difficult having the charges explained to me by the staff. it was eventually resolved.

Travel north and visit the beaches of historic Seven Presidents Park or Sandy Hook or travel south and visit Point Pleasant, Asbury Park and Belmar. Cons: I did not like that the restaurant did not offer staple foods such as hot oatmeal for breakfast. For people allergic to milk we felt the restaurant should offer a substitute such as Almond or soya milk. We are ready to pay extra for this choice.
Pros: Location was where I needed to be, bar was expensive as was the room. Weddings took up most of the seating.
Cons: Our "Garden View" room had no elevator service, 3 flights of stairs, smelled like mildew, was extremely small and our "view" consisted of a rusty crane and concrete. We asked for a change of room immediately, and were denied. We were charged 80% for our room when we left that same night (my wife REFUSED to stay in this dungeon), we were compelled to call relatives for lodging on River Road, where we should have gone in the first place. Amy, the Manager said "she would look into it". Will post another review if rectified.
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the staff was eager to be helpful, and the bar was a great time. I look forward to our next stay there!
Pros: The Staff was very helpful and friendly
Cons: Its a very old building. We had a leak in our room and had to change rooms at 1:30 am. Then in the next room we were in, the toilet clogged. I was just surprise how much the hotel cost per night when considering those factors.

Pros: The hotel staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. Breakfast was very good and convenient, something for everyone.
Cons: Pool was way over chlorinated. Cleaning person removed our dirty towels and took out trash but did not make beds or give us new towels.
Pros: Our stay was fabulous and I can honestly attribute that to the staff. Everyone was so accommodating, and dedicated to making our stay wonderful. We used the facility for wedding prep , and for me and my husband to spend the night after the wedding. Knowing about the occasion the hotel went above and beyond.

Pros: Super comfortable beds, quiet and clean. The staff was great and the location was perfect.
Pros: Good Location
Cons: Old work out carpets in the room and hallway
Smelly and dingy looking bathroom
Seems to be an old building that needs some upgrade and facelift
Cons: Room safe was inoperable. The sleep number bed controls would not work- fortunately the beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We like to stay here due to its location and have done so for many years and expect to continue in the future.
Pros: Room was comfortable and clean- bed and chair with ottoman
Loved the refrigerator and safe in room
Loved the shower set up totally cool!
Loved the shower gei, shampoo. Body lotion, mouth wash and soaps
Loved rhe coffee maker
Cons: I'vei was surprised that the interior of the hotel although clean wasn't more modernized. I knew that I was staying at anRadisson Hiotel but looking around as one walks through the hallways to the elevator you don't get that Radissom vibe The rates are too expensive.
Cons: Our sleep number bet didn't work with 2 people in it. Very uncomfortable
