The Red Roof Inn Columbus Downtown-Convention Center is a pet friendly, family friendly hotel in downtown Columbus, Ohio near the Greater Columbus Convention Center. This hotel is also conveniently located near Nationwide Arena, The North Market and the State Capitol.
It was better than I was expecting for the low cost. Great location, able to walk to many downtown attractions. Parking fee was lower than other hotels in the area.
Very average hotel. Basically a room that is clean and has a bed. $160 a night seems a little pricey for a bed?
Fairly cheap, room was roomy, close proximity to Nationwide arena and downtown bars. Across the street from convention center. Definitely a great value for the convenience of downtown.
Room was hot - air conditioner was extremely loud but fan didn't actually blow out any air. Parking was a bit ridiculous. Two parking lots right next to building on either side, yet hotel patrons not allowed to park there. Have to park across the street. Despite hotel staff telling you it is ok to park there, then getting a call from the front desk the next day to move your car because it will be towed. Don't get me wrong, none of this is a particularly a big deal. Just a few small annoyances that I easily got over - just worth a mention in the review.
Clean, nice friendly staff. Great location for downtown!
The hotel has been recently updated, and it exceeds my expectations for a Red Roof Inn. This hotel put us in walking distance of the Short North and the Arena District--we were visiting both of these areas for a show and dining. We'll certainly stay at this hotel again because of its low rates and high quality service and amenities.
Our bathroom was unclean when we arrived, but housekeeping sent someone to take care of our needs right away. The attendant was friendly, helpful, apologetic, and efficient.
Wood floors. Comfortable bed.
"Cold" staff. Worst continental breakfast ever. No free parking. Shower was dirty and had no full door? Thin walls.
