The owner Pino is a wonderful man, who couldn't do enough to help. His father is the cook and the food was absolutely fabulous.
Magnificent scenery; comfortable accommodation; most friendly, informative and helpful owner / manager.
Pino is the best host possible. He and his family make you as if you are part of their family. His father is in the kitchen and every meal was splendid. The room had a fabulous view of the sea and the upgrade to the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was perfect. Parking was on site with a security gate. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.
Shuttle Service to Amalfi at every time, clean big and quiet rooms, friendly personal,
Fantastic and amazing accomodation in Amalfi. The view from terrace(restaurant) is one of the best place to see Amalfi coast. And more friendly and kindly staff. Anytime you can use a free shuttle car from/to Amalfi downtown and private beach. We stayed a simple double room without terrace and there was one small window. You may not be satisfied with nice view from the room, but you can anytime go to terrace and see perfect view, don't worry.
Pleasant and personal service. Home from home. Quiet and relaxing. Magnificent view.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Great views. Practical (and essential for the region), cost inclusive parking facilities. Room walls too thin. Quite noisy early in the mornings.
Villa Felice has a wonderful view of the Mediterranean from the Amalfi coast of Italy. The staff is warm, hospitable, and very helpful with respect to finding local activities. The hotel is not in easy walking distance of the beach or central Amalfi, but the hotel staff is always ready to drive guests in the hotel's car.
Antonio was awesome. Always there and willing to help. Does this guy ever sleep? The dinner served was below par compared to restaurants in Amalfi. Honestly if they are going to provide a dinner service, they need to improve quite a bit.
The shuttle bus drivers were very accommodating. The website advertised a Jacuzzi in the room. Instead it was a jacuzzi shower.
The staff Andrea, Carmen Magdelana, Valerio and others whose names I d not know, but all were excellent
Views and location. Breakfast on terrace.
The staff were really helpful. The breakfast was stale
The Staff were very friendly, leaving you alone if you wanted or helping where they could. Great location I am not sure I would say our room had a hydro/power shower - especially if you like the shower warmish!! - didn't spoil the stay though.
Friendly staff, possibility of parking, nice room design and seaview, nice breakfast
the location was great and the staff very welcoming the internet performance is very lacking..should have a wireless or ethernet in the rooms and for 24 hours
The view from our balcony and the breakfast terrace was in my opinion, the best in Amalfi it overlooked the city lights and the water. The jacuzzi in our suite along with the in floor lighting made the room very romantic, exactly what we were looking for during our honemoon. The staff were very, very friendly and accomodating. It was extremely clean, safe and well kept. The hotel had alot of history and class. We were extremely happy and would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the Amalfi Coast. nothing, it was fantastic!
There are a lot of stairs - but we really enjoyed our stay at Villa Lara. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast on the veranda was a treat!
the stunning views hotel room did not exactly match the description on the website
Friendly, informative staff. Peaceful environment. The superior room had no view at all, so we changed to a cheaper room which had a more pleasant outlook.
Nice view - but partial view from the room. You can see complete view when you have breakfast It's very uncomfortable to ring a bell to get in the hotel. And the bell wasn't answered quickly. I had waited about 20 min. outside of hotel when I checked in since no one answered bell. (Once you have keys, you can open the gate.) After check out, to get my luggage back, I rang the bell again and waited about 10 min again. Secondly, I was notified credit card wasn't accepted when I checked out. It was a very short notice. Though I paid cash, I had trouble later due to shortage of cash. It was 150 euro . Is there hotel that doesn't accept credit card? I should've been notified this at the check in. I think this hotel is overrated. No, I don't think it deserves to have "hotel" in the name. It should be just "Bed and breakfast"
