The room was very big and comfortable with a very nice view. The food is very bad, all the days it was the same menu and with no variety. On Saturdays and Sundays it was a little bit better. The restaurant is very noisy. The beach is not as nice as we had supposed and it is not very clean. There is not practically any entartainemnt in the evenings and they are really boring.
Consistent good choice of good quality buffets, fresh friut available with all meals.Fussy children always found something they liked (including pasta choice most meals).Pleasantly surprised to find drinks (soft drinks, beer and wine ) included.Daily activities organised including Eco walks,Dance class,Boat trip (at extra cost). Hotel staff friendly. Local shops on hotel site were reasonably priced (not usual rip off as 5 star resort and you have no alternative but to buy there.) Advised by reception staff and on site travel agent that only way to get into town(Angra ) was by private taxi (costing 50 Reals one way). Untrue- regular bus service, used also by hotel employees, stops just outside front gate of resort ( cost 1.80 reals one way). Approximately 20 mins into town, otherwise not much to do at resort if weather wet,as we had for most of our time.
The location is great, the hotel is very beautifil and it felt like I was in paradise for few days, night intertainment, the pool and huge and very nice, the water bar by the pool is terrfic. I would definitely recomment this total to anyone. It is a must if you want to spend few days in Angra.
Food and swimming pool The decor and entertainment.
You don't have to worry about where you're going to eat and it was not to croud. Not many options for adults.
Staff were quite ready to assist in every way, and the recreation team was an excellent one. The food, although good looking and in a good variety, did not taste up to expectations.
Fantastic place... Realy... For relax. Stuff very friendly. Nobody speak english (or any other languagers), only brazilian (portugal). Location wonderful for relax from one side. But: difficult to find the hotel, and no places of interest (also shops) in walking distance. Only bus or expensive taxi.
people were friendy with us, trying to help when we asked for help. when the weather is nice, the place is very friendly and nice. It might be a special situation but we spent 3 days where electricity was gone for 2 and a half and they still charged us the same amount. Due to this or not, but hot water was not available, sometimes it was kind of warm but mostly cold. Nobody spoke a word of English which was a surpise as based on the booking.com description they should have spoken..
If you need to eat, sleep and lie in the sun if the weather is good for a few days with nothing else to do it is ideal to charge up the batteries. The food was what kept us in Angra Fashion-excellent and also the peace and quiet..we had been travelling so it was definitely needed to just lie and chill-you won't have a choice anyhow because you are so isolated. Isolated...Taxi costs 80 reals from Angra. we were told the hotel also provides a shuttle but ended up having to pay anothere 80 reals to get back to Angra for bus connection!!.
Location was beautiful The place was run by kids who did not speak a word of English and it was advertised as English-speaking. The food was extremely limited and was not good.
quiet, beautiful, tranquil place. the private beach, view from the balconies and total absence of stress/noise are the best things about this place. all you can hear in the night are the waves beating against the shore right below your balcony. A bit hard to get to (you have to grab a cab from Angra's center for about 80 Real or go on a local bus for about an hour). The isolated location is a major part of the charm though. Staff is very nice and helpful but nobody speaks English nor Spanish.
A lovely swimming pool overlooking the beach. Nice food both in evening and breakfast. Excellent staff
We had a big trip around Brasil and decided to spend last few days in a quiet place. And this place is what we need. Even it's far from Angra's downtown you don't need to go there. Just relax No one exept reception guy speaks english.
Sveiki, nepaprastai jaukus ir mielas viesbutis. Vieta neapsakomo grozio, gamta fantastiska. Personalas draugiskas ir paslaugus, bet kalba visi tik portugaliskai. Viesbutis skirtas keliautojams, kuriems reikalinga ramybe (absoliuti), tinka poroms arba keliaujanciai kompanijai. Fantastic place, quiet, beautiful place. Stuff very friendly, but nobody speak english ) 1 minusas - kambarys kuriame mes gyvenome, turi problemu su kanalizacija (jautesi kvapelis, neypatingai, bet...) Nezinau kaip kituose kambariuose.
