Welcome to the Ibis budget de Petite-Forêt! An economical hotel located on the outskirts of Valenciennes, basic comfort for a low price. Three people can sleep well in a modern room with a new cocoon design, with a shower, toilet, flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi (offered) for a very economical price. Enjoy an inexpensive gourmet breakfast. The hotel also offers a room for business meetings.
Pros: staff reception
Pros: Good location for a stop over, big retail park nearby, huge hypermarket within walking distance
Cons: It was warm during our stay.. no Aircon so had to have the window open with noise from nearby motorway and side roads. Part of the hotel is currently (summer 2019) being used as a military base for army personnel, so we shared the breakfast room with around 40 french soldiers. Apparently they are there following the terror attacks in Paris and subsequent links to Belgium.
Pros: Clean and very friendly staff. Perfect for a stop while traveling.
Pros: Good clean value for money budget hotel for overnight stay. Friendly reception staff.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like
Pros: Comfy bed, was given an extra pillow on request
Cons: Room was very hot and no net curtain to stop flying insects coming in when window open.

Cons: Would have been better if it had a bar
Pros: Everything was very uncomplicated! Friendly people, quicker check in and check out.
Cons: Small bathroom for 4 people in the bigger room but manageable.
Pros: There were a few good restaurants nearby. Free parking.
Cons: The room was smelly and a bit dirty. The pillows were smelly as well, probably not clean.
Pros: The price, cheaper than some other options.
Cons: The checkin machine wasn't printing anything. Fortunately we had still some battery with our smartphone, and we took a picture to take our access code with us.
When you stay at KYRIAD VALENCIENNES SUD – Rouvignies in Rouvignies, you'll be near the airport and 8 minutes by car from Musee des Beaux-Arts. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: It was cold in the rooms.
Pros: Perfect location for an overnight stay en route to southern France. Room is basic but that's what you pay for. Clean and comfortable bed. Easy to find and quiet. I had a very late check in (00:15) which was no problem.
Pros: Had free parking, staff tried to be helpful but there was a language barrier.
Cons: Room was very small and extremely hot, no air con only had a small electrical fan. Not the cleanest either, there were some weird stains on sheets and in bathroom. Bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was not worth the money, no variety and very small selection. Struggled to communicate with staff as only one person spoke English, and even then still a struggle. Had to ask for more towels as only given one between two people, not even given a hand towel. Also, had to ask for a shower curtain. If I could’ve gotten some money back we would’ve left after one night. However, as we couldn’t communicate with any staff effectively we didn’t even bother trying.
Pros: Room big enough to be comfortable, bathroom and shower clean. Breakfast has a good variety of options.
Cons: Staircases uncomfortable and little bit dangerous for somebody with walking problems like me. Pretty noisy if you get a room on the highway side.

Pros: Big TV in the room
Cons: Standard of the room was very low. Breakfast was very poor.
Pros: Didn't have breakfast there but it looked good. Hotel was ideal for us as a base for when visiting family. Children slept on sofa bed which was a little bit on the small side for them but on the whole the hotel suited us.

Cons: The room was slightly bigger than the bed so i had to crawl over to my side of the bed. The lightning was of the extreme kind of blueish white, so the choice was either darkness or being in the office. The view of the window was a concrete spanner or construction. The people were friendly, though.

Pros: Clean and great staff
Pros: very friendly staff, good breakfast with enough options and good croissants :) Rooms are very big for one person, it is a bit strange, that the toilet is a single room without a sink, so to wash your hands you have to go and change rooms. on the other hand, if you are 2, then it is probably nice to have a separate toilet. clean and had all i needed.
Cons: No onsite parking.
Pros: Breakfast and Room space
Cons: Room not available before 6.00 PM ... Was supposed to be available from noon
Pros: Very clean, great location

Pros: Great shower and good desk for working
Cons: The bed wasn't the most comfortable
Pros: Clean and comfortable -good value
Cons: car park can get congested
Pros: good location for stop off to final destination, close to major roads.
Cons: basic breakfast and at 12 euros, a little over priced for choice on offer. Outside of motel in urgent need of redecoration. motel on edge of commercial and retail park, so not pleasant outlook, and need transport to leave site as only roads with no footpaths in area, photos provided by hotel give false impression of area. use only as a one night stop-off point.
Pros: Clean and convenient
Cons: May look a little tired
