Pros: Sherry provided! Incredible breakfast. 3 minutes walk to Dunham Massey or to toe path walk along canal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was the best we have had @ a b&b . The location suited us & the pub Swan with two Nicks, food & drink ticked our boxes. The room, was homely. Bathroom was a modern large shower, toilet & wash basin. This I believe is only for a stay in room 4. The rest of the rooms have a on suite. The hosts where so helpful & kept the property very clean. Indeed will be going back, for a longer stay.
Cons: Nothing, spot on.

Pros: The location of Ash Farm was so good. With the excellant pub next door all catering was covered well. In a pretty lane minutes walk from Dunham Massey. The whole ambience of Ash Farm was so welcoming and comfortable a comfortable residents lounge.
Cons: Absolutely nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and location both were awesome!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For selfish reasons I would like to say this place is horrible so that I can get a room there in future!!! If you are lucky enough to stay there you will want to return as this is a seriously good B&B. Our room, on the front of the house was very well appointed with possibly the biggest bed I have ever slept in. The room was comfortable with a good sized ensuite shower room which had lashings of hot water. Breakfast was a work of culinary skill. We were well looked after by "the Sliver Fox" and his co owners. The farm is in a quiet village along side a very nice pub that does good food at reasonable prices in the evening The B&B is near to Manchester Airport but not disturbed by any airport noise and is close to a number of NT properties to visit. We stayed as we were flying out from Manchester the following day - it was a rather splendid start to our holiday to celebrate our Ruby Wedding anniversary. Thank you very much

Pros: What a wonderful couple, so attentive, and willing to make our stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. The breakfast was 5 star. I couldn't fault our two night stay, my children were welcomed and treat like little superstars. Our stay here was perfect, and if we do visit Liverpool again we will be booking our stay with this b&b again.
Cons: I have nothing to say against this b&b or our hosts.

Pros: Richard and Maureen were so welcoming and kind. Delicious scrambled eggs ! Evie (13) when telling her mum all about the 3 places we stayed on our cycling holiday said Church End Farm was the best and that both Richard and Maureen were just lovely.

Pros: We were really impressed with this B&B. The hosts contacted us by email prior to our stay and had booked us a table for dinner at the local pub the night we arrived which was really thoughtful. The room was lovely, well appointed and spotlessly clean. We had the family room which was plenty big enough for the three of us and has an ensuite on the top floor. Breakfast was delicious, great selection and Maureen and Richard served it up with a smile! Overall we were really happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.

Pros: Friendly welcome to us and our dog A very good breakfast
Cons: Just niggles for us but the door would not lock due to a broken key and there was no hairdryer in the room. I would have raised these but our hostess was very busy at the time of departure.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent accomodation, food and service. Hostess was very efficient, ensuring our short stay (albeit under sad circumstances) was faultless. Very kindly contacted a local restaurant she recommended (The Brownlow Inn), which also turned out to be an unqualified success.
Cons: The property is on a bit of a sharp bend in a lane, so you need to be very wary pulling out as visibility is somewhat restricted. Not a lot to be done about that, though!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was lovely . The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were friendly. The rooms were clean.
Cons: The ventilation was poor in one of the rooms. The weather was very hot, which didn’t help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We though the staff were amazing. We had a last min request of a travel cot to be added to our room as this was forgotten by myself on booking. This wasn't an issue. They even put the welcome wedding packs in our rooms that a family member had dropped off with them. Very accommodating with us having hair and make up people coming to prep us for my brothers big day. Honestly couldn't of asked for better service. There food was prompt and delicious. Our children loved the lovely fresh fruit and cereal selection. Not to mention the giant trampoline in the garden that kept them busy. Location was so close to the wedding venue some of the guest from the wedding walked back for their cars in the morning which only took approx 25min.
Cons: Nothing, there was 2 fire alarms that set off int he same night. But theses where promptly halted and work men where dealing with them early the following morning. Impeccable service!

Pros: What a find. A lovely boutique style hotel. The staff were lovely and a great breakfast too.
Cons: My stay was too short!!
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff & cleanliness.
Cons: Darkness of every room . Felt I set foot into a haunted house. The drinks in mini bar were an extortionist price ! i.e. £4.50 for a ‘can’ of lager !! Complementary bottle of distilled spring water in room - yet would have to pay £2.50 for it ? Personally for me, a little too quiet and dark .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and we had a private courtyard garden. It was quiet and peaceful in our room and ideal for tired travellers.
Cons: Although the location is ostensibly quiet, the road through the village seemed very busy with a number of speeding cars when we were there; not sure if they have a traffic problem? Although the hotel is quiet and clean, we felt it was a little overpriced compared to others we have stayed at. We can’t comment on the food as our stay was brief and we didn’t eat there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect small hotel, excellent rooms, very friendly staff and a great location. Breakfasts first class.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming and accommodating staff, even though they were busy running around with so many people outside. Baby roast chicken and frites was hot and tasty. Reasonably priced wine list
Cons: First room had no shower, which I hadn’t seen when booking, but they moved me straight away. Dropped something on floor and had to move sofa - very dusty underneath! No hanging space in either room, that I could find. I live quite remotely and was not prepared for proximity of Manchester airport and the noise of the planes!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent, perfect for my business calls. Breakfast was delicious, set me up until the following day !! :)
Cons: Everything was exceptional ....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an amazing place - really quirky. Little details had been thought of in the rooms, bath robes, toiletries, information about the Inn and surrounding area. The food was excellent - had evening meal there and the breakfast in the morning was great. There is a sister pub which is literally just across the road and another one about a 10 minute walk down the road. Would love to visit again in the summer as there is a fantastic "secret" garden at the back.
Cons: Nothing, it was excellent

Pros: Very quaint inn located close to a busy road, with easy access to the M6 Motorway, the Edgerton Arms was a lovely place to stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and very nicely furnished. Breakfast was downstairs and delicious. The staff/owners were all very friendly and helpful, felt like family. I would love to stay here again one day.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast Local Pub Local Restaurant Free off road Car Park.
Cons: Got Bathroom with Private Use was hoping for en-suite (I'll have to read descriptions more carefully) Wi-Fi seemed Slow for upload.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the spacious rooms. Great pub down the road so didn't have to drive anywhere a gain. Hosts were lovely and everything had been thought of.
Cons: We struggled to find the place as GPS wasn't accurate but used information from booking.com and the property itself and got there safely.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This converted post office accomodates only two guest groups, but that is part of its distinctive charm, which combines privacy, luxurious facilities and a very warm welcome from Paul and Michelle. As they say, the chances are that you will enter as guests but leave as friends. My rooms included a totally private ground-floor lounge and an exclusive bathroom. The surrounding countryside is full of scenic attractions, including a good pub. If you stay, you might feel that you don't want to publicise it in case it's booked out next time.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great host and a home away from home. Everything was great for a BB stay.
Cons: All good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Michelle and Paul are so welcoming and friendly, as is Ralph, nothing was too much trouble. Our stay was everything we wanted and more ... we had a superb relaxing and chilled night away from all the ‘routine life’ at home. The private lounge area was more than we expected and had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy....l didn’t want to get up this morning. I’ve already booked another visit and this one we are taking my Mum and Dad too as a special anniversary pressie to them. I would without a doubt recommend this to everyone Friends and Family ... by far it’s the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in, in the U.K. We will defo be returning time and time again .... even if it’s just for the hospitality..... monthly visits here we come. Thank you Michelle and Paul for having us and making us feel very special.... see you both very soon love Zoe xx
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like .... everything exceeded what we hoped for and nothing could be improved upon ... it was too good to be true

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A warm welcome, a fantastic property and the loveliest of personal touches. Michelle was a lovely attentive host, from checking on my dietary requirements to putting Christmas decorations out because she knew we were on a Christmas present night out. Also, as the original Princess and The Pea, this was the comfiest bed I've slept in in a very long time!
Cons: Not much to say here
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfy, view great, shower excellent, hostess and host lovely. Short walk to good pub meal. Canal and estate close enough to walk to and explore. All very laid back, relaxed and friendly. I liked having the use of the breakfast room /lounge and the key to the front door so we could come and go at will.
Cons: Didn't mind not having a cooked breakfast as there was a good choice of cereals and fruit but I felt we could have had a more interesting choice of nice breads and cheeses and perhaps charcuterie.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The ambience and the decor.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property has a very unique style. Quirky, fun and impressive. The balcony and conservatory is lovely as you can watch the planes fly by. The park is beautiful and there is a John Lewis 5 minutes drive away; what more can you ask for.
Cons: I don’t like the restrictive parking but that is not the hotel’s fault.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It’s a nice weekend get away location.
Cons: The room was quite small and there was a noisy boiler that comes on around 4/5am intermittently.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room with great facilities like DAB radio and Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary pods. Very nice bar area and restaurant. Fantastic breakfast cooked to order.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely hotel and rooms. Fabtastic interior design
Cons: Major challenges with boiling a soft boiled egg at breakfast Also the WiFi/fire detection system in the room flowed green all night keeping us awake - spoiled the whole experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and location, great food and lovely and helpful staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful, staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor in the hotel was amazing and it had a lot of original features.
Cons: Breakfast was amazing but only bad point there were no beans on a full a full English breakfast.
6.7 Good
Cons: Spa closed since August
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location in the park (we had a walk round and it was good to stretch our legs after travelling), had a drink in the convenient bar, which was well stocked. The terrace also looked nice but unfortunately the weather wasn’t nice enough to sit out. Bedroom was a nice size, very comfortable bed and great shower. Location was good for the airport and 24 hour checkout was a massive help for our early flight.
Cons: There weren’t many other options for eating within walking distance of the hotel and the restaurant seemed a bit overpriced and fussy - there was an option for bar food but nothing we fancied. Not keen on the frosted glass swing door for the toilet - it isn’t very private!
Brookfield House - Prestbury - Building

9.2 Excellent (65 reviews)
4.6 Okay
Pros: Lovely location - village of Prestbury was superb. The cat which kept us company in the evenings!
Cons: Hosts not there during our stay at all - received text message to say they were away for a funeral (I know this can't be helped and is very sad etc. but obviously no proper contingency plans in place for ensuring paying guests needs are met). Hot water/boiler went off - had to call a friend/neighbour (?) of the owners to come an sort it out (they had texted a last minute 'phone a friend' number in their absence. WiFi didn't appear to be working and no-one around to ask about it - why should I keep 'phoning the friend' at my expense....?. No breakfast on both mornings due to owners being absent - not made clear this would be the case... Quirky accommodation in a 'converted loft' above the double garage - somewhat misleading photos don't properly indicate this. Initially quite interesting, but soon became apparent the bathroom was plagued by insects/moths etc. No air conditioning in the accommodation - it was hot and stuffy during the UKs hottest week - not even a fan provided. I would have expected a lot more in terms of service for the cost. Poor show in this respect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quiet setting. Very comfortable room with everything you could want for a restful night sleep. Large comfortable beds, large tv with comfortable sofa.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Having 2 double beds in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed here several times during the week. It is very comfortable, 5 minutes walk from Prestbury, this is a great place to relax, visit the area on foot, enjoy the great restaurants of Prestbury or use as a base for work. The people who run the place are welcoming, friendly and make you feel at home. I highly recommend Brookfield House.
Cons: It can get a bit cold in the winter, just let them know and as usual they will ensure you are comfortable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for this B&B, the owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very large with 2 large beds a large sofa and big TV with free sat. Good size bathroom with bath and overhead shower, very good water pressure.
Cons: No WIFI/ poor signal. They could fit a WiFi booster this would sort the issue out.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous location, lovely hosts, the place itself was spotless and so comfortable, also very spacious, we had a lovely time here, the village itself is so beautiful and peaceful and the location is great value for money, would definitely recommend
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really comfy bed, clean hotel. Karen was kind and helpful!
Cons: The journey by foot was a little troubling due to lack of pavement in the last little bit of the journey, but that is the only small gripe.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice, small and comfortable Owners were friendly and accommodating. Food was good and reasonable. Quite close to the airport.
Cons: The room I had was on the very top floor so difficult to get two bags up and down the stairs easily. Had to be careful not to bang my head on a low portion of the ceiling. Owner forgot my wake up call so I had to rush about a little to pack and have breakfast in order to leave on time. I would stay there again but would change my room and take my own alarm clock!
4.0 Okay
Cons: The window was screwed open, it was impossible to close it and the hotel is near the airport so it was impossible to sleep with planes roaring overhead all night long. I was embarking on a 49 hour series of flights the next day so a good nights sleep was my main requirement,
8.8 Excellent

Pros: Close to airport. Room very clean. Bed comfortable. Good TV and wifi reception.
Cons: Soap dispenser didnt work very well in bathroom and no face cloths supplied only towels. Road noise if you stayed in rooms facing busy road. Noise from air traffic all night. Room temperature too hot and no adjustment on radiator to lower temperature.. Had to open window which made air traffic noise worse. No chef on duty on Sunday for evening meal. We ordered in but room not set up to eat a meal. Table small and only one chair.
