6.3 Good
Pros: Service was only good in the restaurant. Starting with a major mistake when we arrived (they gave us an unserviced room), from the room not having the DO NOT DISTURB sign, no slippers, no coffee cups (even thought they offered a good coffee machine and the capsules), every day there was an issue. even with our water we were during one of the nights. not good at all for a One and Only. would not go back.
6.3 Good
Pros: Beautiful property. Good tennis facility with lovely tennis pros. Spa and spa therapists are professional and talented.
Cons: Sluggish restaurant staff. Less than average food at a high cost.
6.3 Good
Cons: I was charged a higher room rate than what I prepaid on booking.com for the same room. I have been trying to resolve for 3 days and the staff have been unhelpful and keep passing off. Their printer was broken and endless promises to email the bill though still not received. Otherwise great hotel.
7.5 Good
Cons: They used so much plastic!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and rooms are wonderfull
Cons: 2 days in a row pool near The dune restaurant were not cleaned and water was yellow colour. Service should be improved. Sometimes you dont feel it is a four seasons hotel but you will a basic pension
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beds were fabulous and so comfy
Cons: Had a bit of a flood in the bathroom ( our fault ). Asked for help to clean up before going for dinner. On return from dinner a pile of towels had been dumped on the floor in bathroom, looked as if someone had planned to come back and collect them then forgot. Was sorted out next morning, extremely efficiently, whist we had breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent. I highly recommend the Ocean Club. It was a great getaway for a few days.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, facilities, rooms, staff friendliness...all exceptional. You really feel spoiled. The elegance of the decoration, furniture and the overall property style is superior. Low-key luxury at his best.
Cons: Room for improvement on some limited details. One of those regarding the use of the beach facilities: the property provides very comfortable beach lounge chairs for guests - for 2 out of the 4 days we stayed, all of the "first line" lounge chairs were "taken" for most of the day....with nobody using them for most of the day. When we asked, they said that some people had asked them to book the chairs and they did it. I just think this is not a good policy, actually unfair to the rest of guests. Another detail that didn't work: one of the days they forgot to clean up our room; we were out all day so when we got back at 7pm we had to call reception desk and ask for our room to be cleaned. I am not saying this kind of things cannot happen...but I would have not expected that to happen in a 5-star hotel like this one. Finally, dinner options at the hotel are limited to "Dune" - an excellent restaurant but likely not for every night. Other more casual restaurants on the property offer lunch but they all close for dinner.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the cleanliness and layout of the property! It’s a studio apartment that’s perfect for 2 people! There is a beautiful beach just a short walk away!
Cons: I didn’t like that stores and restaurants are not in walking distance but Micah, our host, was very accommodating with providing us with a ride from & to the airport. He also provided a ride for us to have a most delicious Bahamian breakfast! If he couldn’t provide the ride, he made sure we had access to reliable transportation! We would definitely choose to stay here again! (Thank you Daddy

Pros: I loved the cottage we stayed in by the pool. Absolute world class and I loved the outdoor shower. Great bath products too. Restaurants were really great.
Cons: No pool service for drinks or food. It all felt quite dull. The breakfast menu was too limited.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: I loved everything
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Can’t walk to beach
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and very clean with great facilities
Cons: No soul - no buzz or great atmosphere. Don’t like the entrance/foyer - having work area in lobby is very strange
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Would have liked a small fridge and coffee maker in the room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The cool, calm white space of the hotel was welcoming and unfussy. The reception desk was helpful and welcoming. The cinema (complimentary) was delightful and the pool fabulous. We also really enjoyed our room and beautiful bathroom. We felt private all the time.
Cons: we needed a corkscrew in the room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a perfect stay, great coffee, great food, friendly staff, exceptional service, turndown service, workout room, Island House has it all.
7.0 Good
Pros: The amenities were wonderful, and the overall design and aesthetic of the property was amazing. This would be the perfect spot to stay while visiting on business.
Cons: Sadly there were a few things that really missed the mark, and while none of those were terrible, the lack of care or help from the staff is where they really fell short. Once settled into the room we realized we didn’t have a sea view, which we had reserved and paid extra. When I asked about moving to a room with a better view I was told I couldn’t be accommodated, but they would “make a note if something opened up” no apology, no refund for the extra paid, nothing. The following day we wanted to visit the beach, and on the site it says free beach shuttle. While this is technically true, and the shuttle is free, they charge you $50 to use the beach. A little misleading. And overall the price is worth the private beach, but don’t be misleading about it. To get to the beach they show you an awesome vintage land rover that is the beach shuttle. However when our shuttle arrived is was an old odyssey van that carried the aroma of a nyc taxi cab and had fuzzy dice on the mirror. Once again, if they said free taxi ride I would have been fine with it. But don’t show one thing and give us another. Lastly, the restaurant staff once again was unaccommodating. On a Sunday evening, when there were only a few guests in the entire restaurant, we were seated at a two top. I asked if it would be ok if we sat at a 4 top so we could both sit facing the view of the marina. She said it wasn’t possible. Ok, no problem. I assumed that there were a lot of reservations that had not showed up yet, unfortunately that was not the case. Only two or three more people came in and the four tops sat empty.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The Mahogany restaurant was overpriced and the food was poor. Service was bad with rude staff.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was exceptional— went above and beyond to help!
Cons: The beach access was promoted as free, but it was $50 a day, which we didn’t realize until we got the bill. Not a huge deal, but something that wasn’t exactly advertised.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is very new and modern, great restaurants and staff. Lots of activities, bars, entertainment, attractions

Cons: The inconsistent service provides by some staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful with a lot of pool/beach choices. Boat to the private island was an added plus!
Cons: Did & beverage costs were a little high, but we knew this going into it.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I went two times, the first time in March and the second the first week of July; well July was the best period. The Ocean is calm, warm and crystal. In March it was impossible to have a swim in the Ocean. All the restaurants are very good. There are lots of pools. Beautiful the Fish Sanctuary.
Cons: There is not a playground for children under 3 years old. The AC inside is too cold and when you enter inside the hotel from the beach/pool is terrible. To find availability in the restaurant you have to book them 1 at least one month before arriving.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful. Good restaurants. Good bar with entertainment . Good pools. Beach close by. You do not have to leave the property.
Cons: Beverages very expensive. Chinese restaurant expensive and terrible service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: View from our room. And cafe Madeline and the jazz bar The Palm was great for lunch and loved the drinks. They actually had alcohol in them unlike some islands we have visited. Very nice and staff was attentive I'm running out of things to say.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel however restaurants not very kid friendly and although hotel does welcome families with kids not much entertainment for kids at night. Catered more to adults. Also should have more kid friendly restaurants with more food options at reasonable prices. Restaurants very overpriced.
Cons: No entertainment for kids
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location near airport
Cons: Food was pricey and not so good except for a few eateries

Pros: The location is stunning... With two wide terraces on the sea.. At sunset it's favolous...
Cons: It's by the beach... There are not so many restaurants and bars in the area..public transportation stop at 7p.m.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Downtown Nassau (at the port) is very touristy, so this spot on the beach a bit further away was ideal. Our dorm was super clean every day. There’s a beach and opportunity to rent jet skis, snorkel, etc. There is a bank, grocery, wine shop, pharmacy all right across the street. The bus is $1.25 and super convenient. They’re also doing a lot of awesome renovations to the place. Honestly it’s probably the best hostel experience I’ve had to date as a solo traveler. If I go back to Bahamas, I’m staying here again.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing! I hate the place!! is a horrible Motel and night club at the same time. It was nice to know how the BEDBUGS looks like and feels like! The property is not the same of the pictures. Its old dirty and disgusting!
Cons: Drunk people really loud inside the shared room until 4 am! I came just to sleep but I did not get to sleep more than 2 hours! Men walking into the female room to drink and have sex. It was scary and traumatizing!! Horrible experience! Worst night ever!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Love the fact its ocean view...quite and economic
Cons: Internet service was very poor...
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Not toilet paper in the bathrooms. Had to look around the whole place in the middle of the night. Working progress outside on the property so hard to find a silent place. Not possible to buy anything at this place. Not even some cold water and nuts. When tired do not want to walk 20 minutes together back and forth to get this. Also nothing to dry hands with after toilet. Staff would call a taxi for me 05.30,but no taxi showed up. Lucky I got another ride at 05.45 and did not miss my plane.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This was the most beautiful hostel I’ve ever stayed in - brilliant views, friendly staff and a good location. Couldn’t recommend more!
Cons: Nothing!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property was directly at the beach and the stuff is super friendly! I was alone so it was great to have so many people around you and you get to know so many new people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: right on the water excellent staff
Cons: room could have been a little bigger
7.0 Good
Pros: It is right by the sea and has a spaciois deck as a common area with a stunning sea view. Good value for money.
Cons: I stayed in a female dorm. It was really loud outside until 2 AM. Even though the hostel rule clearly states that the quiet hour starts at 10 PM, people do not seem to care.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It is in a really beautiful spot, beautiful varandas facing amazing Bahamian sea. My card was rejected and was NOT told about it by booking.com so got there and luckily they had a space, but only in a triple room. The owner offered my an activity for the difference in price.

Pros: Rooms were spacious enough, beds were really comfortable. The staff greeted you with a smile all the time. View from room was really nice.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff member Shahdan, and Carmel
Cons: The staff member entering my room, without permission to do so-
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly. The area was quite and close to many beautiful and empty beaches.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Did not have breakfast as had to check out beforehand. The grounds are very nice indeed and ... secure with electric gates. Lovely gardens and swimming pool.
Cons: Only coffee making facilities, it would be nice to be able to make some tea for those who prefer it.
6.8 Good
Pros: The boutique hotel consists of 10 rooms, located in a quiet area of Nassau, close to beautiful beaches. Would recommend this property for people who do not want a “resort” style stay. The pool is fantastic and overlooks the water as the hotel is situated on a hill with fantastic views. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The bed was too small, more of a double rather than a queen. We did complain as it was quite uncomfortable but were not offered another room, despite the hotel being completely empty of other guests. The maid forgot to clean our room one day which was a let down. Service could be a bit better
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We didn't participate in the breakfast....the location was convenient to Bah mar, the airport and restaurants.
Cons: Can't say that there was anything that we didn't like...it's a three star property with the potential to be a five star boutique property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Always enjoy staying here...Quiet in the cut location.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was private and superb
Cons: Absolutely nothing could have exceeded this experience! Just amazing!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was very divers and there was a great choice every day! All drinks were all inc.
Cons: The option to rent Jet Ski in the Hotel would have been great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff 10/10 .. the food 10/10 .. the place was small and the beach was small .. had to take a schuttle to a very nice beach
Cons: Small beach
2.2 Mediocre
Cons: - cannot have guests over - must where plastic wristband , 24/7 - unfriendly staff - Over-priced , for quality of hotel - a/c in room , did not work well.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff was good and friendly
Cons: The food wasn’t up to standard. The beds were hard as a rock. And I thought there would be a big beach but it was a small beach.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Majority of the people there are super friendly and nice
Cons: No nightly shows or entertainment so there’s not really anything to do. Food is not that good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I liked the vibe of the place! The food was amazing and overall it was an amazing experience!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic & the pool area was great!
Cons: Entrance area could do with revamping. There is a bar but it’s not a very inviting area and there’s no atmosphere on an evening. Entertainment was lacking too.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The cocktails made by the bartenders were good. The food in the Veranda was good.
Cons: We were not able to get into the Italian restaurant due to being booked. We were not able to get into the steak restaurant until our last night. There were birds flying around the pool due to people leaving their food dishes at the pool. The staff did not pick up or empty trash periodically.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, nice and friendly staff and nice pool
Cons: Hardly any vegetarian options at the buffet
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere was great, staff was so friendly and fun.
Cons: The elevators and room had a musty smell like a old basement
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location to Atlantis
Cons: The hotel was closing for much needed renovations on the last day of my trip and things were a mess. Place is in a great location but old and they let too many locals come in. They took most of the food at lunch and really made a mess of things. Terrible experienced
Graycliff Hotel And Restaurant - Nassau - Building
9
8.4 Excellent (264 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Graycliff Hotel And Restaurant, you'll be centrally located in Nassau, steps from Heritage Museum of the Bahamas and Government House. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Free valet parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This was an exceptional hotel, with an incredible history oozing out of its pores. It is an expensive hotel, but the experience was worth it. The staff were amazing and the piano player on the night we stayed was outstanding. The swimming pool was the most luxurious and beautiful we've ever seen.
Cons: The dinner was somewhat underwhelming, not bad, just not in sync with the price paid, but the ambiance made up for this. I would like to have been wowed for the price, and we were not.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: wonderfully luxurious colonial house. Oozing with sophistication and class. Very friendly staff and lots of interesting things going on - cigar factory, chocolatier and a magnificant wine cellar that must not be missed!
Cons: The cigar factory part of the Graycliff were unable to provide tax refund forms for purchased tobacco (they should be able to provide this but claimed there was a computer problem - however it was suggested to us that this is always the case and the problem is not being resolved any time soon).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly people and staff. A gentile atmosphere!
Cons: No hurricane to get in the way!
4.5 Okay
Pros: Swimming pool is really amazing
Cons: Very old with bad maintenances furnitures
4.3 Okay
Cons: Tatty and uncared for. Nothing worked!
7.0 Good
Pros: We loved the salon and its unique atmosphere, the jazz singer at night, the personal attitude and attention of the manager/Owner. It felt like family! We loved the garden and the pool and the food was excellent. We understand that the hotel tries to give a lot of attention to the culture of the island with the cigar factory, the chocolate factory - both excellent products!
Cons: Service was slow and the air conditioning very loud. As service was slow all over the Bahamas, we accepted initially, but were surprised when visiting Luciano's - Nassau's second best restaurant (after Graycliff's!!), where everything was sharp and quick (and very good too). The lighting should be improved to make the dining and bedrooms look brighter and more welcoming. A little paint makeover in the dining rooms could go miles.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was extraordinary with the impression given that almost no request was impossible. The decor and history was amazing. The winelist was impressive, and the cognateque even more so. The lounge was incredibly cozy and had great ambience. The cocktails were excellent, service extremely snappy, with 2-3 waiters for just 10-15 people, and the musician provided excellent piano and song. The pool area and gardens were beatiful and lush, with many little spots for chatting or enjoying a cocktail. The location was in the old part of Nassau, which is great if you value historic buildings and cities.
Cons: The facilites were less luxurious than a modern hotel, owing to the age. However, the gardens and pool area were beautiful. The place seemed slightly abandoned as there were only few staying guests. (Many came and took advantage of lounge and restaurant, though). While breakfast was included, we were still billed for tax, so we ended up paying $10/day for the continental breakfast for two people. It seems a bit misleading. The continental was also "true" continental - some toast, croisant, jam, coffee/tea and juice. Nothing else.
Overview Reviews
Come and experience undiluted luxury. Winner of the prestigious Five Diamond Award. Includes Access to Private Offshore Island - Sandals Cay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice layout, outside well manicured, many of staff had good attitudes
Cons: Bed sheets smelled like fish! Some staff attitudes were unpleasant, food could be better
9.7 Excellent
Pros: We loved the staff. everyone was very accommodating. the food was excellent and all of the servers were great!! The pools were awesome and so was the beach!! We loved the private Island. The water was beautiful.
Cons: We wished that the private island was open later than 4:00PM. We were told that they stocked Bacardi Rum, but they did not. The Piano Bar should be open later than 11:00PM. That way you could have the loud music at Crickets and the Piano music for the other crowds. We were told by the reception when checking in that they would stock our room with alcohol, but this never happened. It would have been nice to have a cocktail in the room. The butlers would reserve all of the chairs for guests, but we noticed everyday that many of the chairs were never used, so other guests could not get a good seat.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: They hooked up local beer to the Heineken tap. No acknowledgment of our 20th anniversary
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really friendly The facilities were awesome Room was very clean
Cons: They couldn’t provide a cocktail menu They didn’t restock our bar after cleaning our room twice!
7.5 Good
Pros: The resort is nice and some some good amenities. The island, which isn't private, is still very nice and there is a large portion solely for Sandals guests. Food was decent, not great, and there were no waits at any of the restaurants.
Cons: The staff reserves the best spots on the beach for the butler suites. Even if you get up early, you may not get a great spot on the beach. This is very disappointing as some of them didn't even get used throughout the day so they were simply reserved for no reason. The staff is also in no hurry, which seemed to almost be the culture in the bahamas in general. Just know that going into it and you won't be too disappointed.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Most of the staff was great. Private island is great
Cons: Old hotel, smelly carpets, food was just ok. We had a butler service and one of them was useless. Very small aces to the beach- you can’t walk
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good staff
Cons: Wifi didn’t work through out the resort.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The food and beverage are great, beautiful beaches, everything at the hotel is easy to find... Great clean amenities with good shower, air con, comfortable bed... meets the expectations! The asian restaurant is a lot of fun! They also have great pizza. Try the strawberry daiquiri with rum! The manager at the time was really aware and solved our issues. Also, Momo (she is the photographer) was incredible!
Cons: Small things that create a gap between expectations vs what you get for a place: - some of the staff is really rude and not polite (like they are polite to meet training and that is all) - rude answers, loud conversations between them disturbing the mood of the restaurant, completing tasks before really attending the customer (removing plates from the table bumping on it and not apologizing, forgetting orders, getting orders wrong, etc) - room service didn’t work well - we called several times until someone answered the phone, asked for something at the menu and they did’t know what it was... and when it arrived, the dip was frozen, so you couldn’t dip anything on it. - laundry: same thing, no one answers the phone, when they did they put me on hold and never got back. We got our clothes in our transfer... In the last day, because of my laundry, I had enough and took it to the manager. He took detailed not of everything, helped with the laundry, provided some nice perks to apologize in behalf of the hotel. He was very professional and caring, having empathy and understanding that those things shouldn’t happen in this kind of hotel. In the end, the incidents happened because of a few people in a bad mood or unfit to do the work of providing quality service to their customers and not because the hotel and its management tolerate that. We had a very good experience and the management team was very aware and provided great attention to our few hick-ups.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff, the restaurants, the private island, the pools.
Cons: Few shadows on the beach and staff don't control guests who booked them with towels and don't use them. Beach is not so bigger as photos shows, I believe they are manipuleted. Rooms are bigger and good but perfectly usual for a 5 stars hotels, I was expecting something diferent and more updated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The private island is very nice , we enjoyed it.
Cons: Everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an amazing stay for our honeymoon and will definitely be coming back!! Every little detail had been thought of :)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing! Friendly, helpful, courteous..... Pool area so nice, food great, great vibe!
Cons: More pool side lounges needed.
7.0 Good
Pros: the facilities and the rooms were nice
Cons: the staff where unhelpful and many of them rude. Anything you needed took HOURS to get.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The space
Cons: That the people working were giving us wrong information.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I like the atmosphere and the positive attitude of the Front desk taff. The room exceeded my expectations
Cons: I had requested a late check out, but was interrupted several times and was advised that I had to leave right away.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stop here quite often it is a great hotel. Customer service is as good as it gets in the Bahamas. Great rooms, great facilities and good places to eat and drink. Would recommend it for couples. Generally a great place to stay.
Cons: A little overpriced when you add the various Taxes and charges, this always leaves a bad feeling. It would be better for the Bahamas to have clearer upfront pricing to make tourists feel welcome. Beautiful islands that could do so much more to make them selves attractive and welcoming to tourists. Customer service is not generally a strength.
4.2 Okay
Cons: Service was awful and there is major construction that we were not made aware of until after we checked in
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful property with many different spaces and pools for your different needs (relaxing, family fun, adult party, etc). Very large resort with very large prices - be prepared to drop $45 every time you order 2 drinks from the bar - there are service fees and taxes added to everything you do. Well maintained and very friendly staff.
Cons: All good except the folio of charges and resort fees added to everything $$$.
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is new and clean. That’s the best part about the hotel.
Cons: It is over priced. The incidental fees were $600. They charge you for every single thing. Also, the concierge gave us false information because she was rushing to get off since it was the end of her shift. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone stay at an all inclusive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff especially Alma
Cons: The food room service the meat stunk very badly
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel. Lots to do and you will not get bored.
Cons: Lot's of hidden taxes at check out and wildly expensive, no matter where you eat on the property. Be careful how you spend.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Paint smell from renovations was so strong we got headaches and had to move rooms. They offered usage of a hospitality suite we have got to use bc the people before us never came out. Service was very slow to change rooms. We finally just checked our stuff and came back later. Service for food also very slow.
Cons: Slow service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great the staff is great service always friendly and helpful, more variety on the breakfast buffet would be great. Loved the pool the people and staff on the pool are exceptional, we miss Jay but Manny, and Tenaj, RJ, and all of the guys and girls at the bar. They really know how to make everyone at the pool happy and you see it with the guest.
Cons: Don't like when you sit at the bar there is no ceiling fan for a place like this there should be one, the bathrooms and the closet space can be better.
The Reef at Atlantis - Nassau - Building
12
8.3 Excellent (772 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Reef at Atlantis offers the conveniences of home and the amenities of a luxury residential community. The Reef rests upon the white sand beaches of Paradise Island with the gracious relaxation of the Bahamian culture. The Reef welcomes guests to unplug completely or plug in to all Atlantis has to offer. Residences at The Reef run from stunning studios to three bedroom suites with kitchenette or full kitchens, washer/dryer in unit or adjacent and magnificent ocean views.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Reef overall nicer than the Royal Towers and from what I've been told provides more amenities than The Cove. As long as its not prohibitively more expensive than Royal Towers, its well worth it.
Cons: The food is unfortunately expensive and is often just "okay." However it has progressively gotten better over the years.
7.0 Good
Cons: No breakfast- starbucks only thing at the reef- line usually out the door...generally no affordable meals on site
6.8 Good
Cons: Some of the staff are grouchy and quite frankly the food is overpriced for the quality.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Accessibility around resort. Rude staff,
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Misinformation by staff.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The Starbucks is the best part of the reef. The line up though is not! The reef is my favourite tower at Atlantis. Been coming to the reef for 10+ years. Atlantis for 30+ years.
Cons: The food options at the Atlantis are limited. The better restaurants are often closed. When I pressed for a table somewhere anywhere, the restaurant reservation lady managed and made a reservation for us only for us to show up and find out the restaurant was closed. This is the kind of service you get with Bahamians at Atlantis. If I ran the hotel, i would fire the entire staff complement from reception to the call centre people. All incompetent. Always on their phones. Blasé. Give others, hungry workers, a chance to bring Atlantis back to what it was. Baha Mar stands a real chance now despite their poor beach and design.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Line in Starbucks. You have to reserve sun-lounges early in the morning otherwise no where to sunbathe
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Everything was too much expensive for what was offered. Wi-fi was awful.
Cons: Everything was too much expensive for what was offered. Wi-fi was awful.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Large room and bath. Marble floors and granite counters. Very quiet. The beds were a little too hard. The service was excellent and the property beautiful
Cons: Beds too hard
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms. Having a mini kitchen is great because food is very expensive on property so it is helpful to be able to make breakfast in the room. Gives a bit of space from the craziness of the water park on property but close enough that it is convenient to walk there. Nice, well appointed bathroom. Good sized covered terrace.
Cons: The Reef is skimping on the extra touches that a very expensive resort should have. For example, no paper was delivered to the room each morning. Also, you had to get the activities sheet for the day from the front desk where at most high end resorts, it is also put underneath your door each morning. Service was slow when there was a problem, for example, our TV kept freezing and it took two phone calls to get someone to fix it. But the worst problem is the Wi-Fi. They charge over $20 per day to use and it is not dependable. It keeps dropping off your device and you have to reconnect and the signal is weak.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The beds were comfortable and the restaurants we are at were good.
Cons: The adventure park slide by the rapids river (the one you go on without a raft) is an accident waiting to happen. Mine and my sisters face was submerged the entire way down and when you get to the bottom you are so disoriented and can’t breath you can’t tell which way is up to the surface. My sister also hit her hip on the bottom of the pool when you get off the slide.
6.8 Good
Pros: Water temperature of pools.
Cons: Service from staff inside at the poolside snack bars. Bell service was very welcoming.
Compass Point Beach Resort - Nassau - Building

8.3 Excellent (302 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Compass Point Beach Resort in Nassau, you'll be near the airport, within a 10-minute drive of Cable Beach and Cat Cay. Featured amenities include a computer station and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice beach close by. Friendly staff and food is pretty good.
Cons: Place is a bit scruffy and not very luxurious considering the very high prices once you include all the extra fees and taxes added to the basic room rate: reckon on 300 to 500 dollars per night. The custom on the Bahamas is to give prices on menus or for rooms without the 12% VAT and 15% gratuities which are automatically added. This hotel also adds a "resort fee", so the initial room rate soon gets heavily inflated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the staff and the low key vibe.
Cons: access to the beach, steps were a bit tough to manage
6.8 Good
Pros: Perfect spot if you’re looking for a place right on the beach. however
Cons: The rooms were very old and outdated. We stayed at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar for 3 days before here for around the same price and would definitely just stay there next time.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I felt like I was staying in a Caribbean island resort, because I was. And not a modern hotel. I like that island feel and layout. Beach was very close and convenient. Staff were very helpful and always kind. On site massage lady Shanna was very professional and excellent.
Cons: There are small openings everywhere in the construction of the cabin and around the door, and there were only shutters and no windows, so it was almost impossible (until the sun went down) to cool the room down with the small AC unit.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, rustic-like experience. The cabins were fun, the food was great, and the beach and water were gorgeous! We enjoyed our honeymoon at Compass Point very much!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property was quiet, perfectly located, and perfect for a vacation. The food takes a very long time though. This should be improved.
Cons: Preparation time of food was very long (1-2hrs)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were looking for a small hotel with a bar and restaurant onsite, on a beach with not a lot of people. A place we could relax for a few days. Compass point delivered on all of this and better. Food was better than expected and there are a couple of restaurants across the street. The beaches were near empty every day we were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we had (sea view) was well air conditioned and comfortable. We had a great time.
Cons: No cons
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything was perfect from beginning to the end ! The room is huge and comfortable with a king size bed. We only paid an extra $20/ night to get upgraded to a sea front hut. The view from the room is stunning, the swimming pool and the dock are really enjoyable. Restaurant and bar are really nice you can test local food and cocktails ! A special thanks to Karen who made our stay unbelievable!
Cons: It is not a negative point but the hotel is not located in Nassau, it takes 20-25 min by bus to get to the capital, and very easy to use !
5.5 Okay
Pros: Mauro the server
Cons: They charge $25 per day for housekeeping. I didn’t ask for housekeeping but they charged me. Food was just ok It rained the entire time but I had no roof over my balcony so I was stuck inside. Couldn’t get to restaurant sometimes because of rain. Bathrooms are tiny. I had a rate of $220 per night but when I checked out it was $300.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Helen, Karen, Shendra, Phillip, all staff above and beyond to make stay memorable!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: This is not only a lovely and intimate property, it has a very cool history. Its original owner was "connected" to the music industry (discovered and managed Bob Marley). Across the street is The Studio (now a restaurant with great food) was the "partner" of the resort where musicians from around the world came and stayed (at the resort) and recorded (at The Studio). Phillip, the manager, was totally awesome and kept the place in top order (and even saved us two of the best Snappers delivered that day for our last night's dinner). Loved by locals, X-Pats and anyone who wants a truly unique (and affordable) getaway. Great little spa and totally awesome vibe. Very highly recommend!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location..Beach right across the road,,,Airport minutes away.. Nearby food spots...Staff was helpful..
Cons: No one there after 6:00 pm ..That could have been better if there was a person there to deal with any issues..It is new and they are in construction so I am sure things will be improving as they go. Internet was iffy or not there..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, but no breakfast was available
Cons: I Loved everything !!!!!
7.0 Good
Pros: It looked like a minnie apartment. Very good for family. Has a kitchen, living room, and room where two beds are.
Cons: The house keeping didn’t clean the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: MJ the hostess was fabulous, charming, welcoming and friendly. Property was clean and located across the road from the beach and less than ten minutes to airport. Good for the price.
Cons: Apartment had an adjoining entrance with next door apartment, so you could hear neighbours coming and going, fine if you have good neighbours not so great when they have a fight at midnight. Not a lot of amenities close by. Best to bring food with you. We walked to Twisted Lime in Sandyport, not bad. There is construction going on but the tradesmen were friendly and did not work late or start early, which we thought was very considerate.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and the beach right across is very nice. The property is pet friendly and staff are very approachable.
Cons: There's is literally nobody at the office even when the sign says 10am-6pm. Makes it very hard to check in a bit earlier given the communication gap between book agent and the property. A bit difficult to get a little snack/sunscreen within walking distance on a rainy day.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Our stay was great! The only problem we had was the check in process , the staff seemed a bit disorganised. The A/C was leaking alot of water on the first night but when I informed the staff they moved very quickly to fix it. The property is currently under renovation( building more condos) so at some point you may hear some hammering and machines. The construction team however are mindful of the guest and don't make as much noise in the early morning or night. The rooms are very cozy and the overall feel and look of the condo is Good and very clean! The staff was incredible, very friendly, and accomodating. It was a joy to stay Sunset! I will definately be back !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ms knowles was amazing. She was so warm and welcoming and helped us get checked in even after a delayed flight caused us to arrive after midnight. The place was comfortable, the air conditioning and WiFi worked well. Perfect!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The "suite" was exactly as described/pictured, with everything you need. The location was perfect for my preference. Easy to get around on the jitney!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Newly redecorated. Clean and neat.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The girls at the sunset stay took wonderful care of us. When our excursion in the Exuma islands was cancelled because of the weather, they were able to book something else for us that far exceeded the other trip. They were very concerned with our well being and satisfaction with our trip. Big resorts are not better ! The place was very clean and comfortable.
Cons: The only thing I would say is it might be helpful to rent a car if you are staying in this location. There are many places that are walkable, but many that transportation is beneficial.

Pros: Free breakfast - outside in the atrium area; Building furniture and designs inside; Friendly staff; Clean room; Beautiful pool; Pool dj/bartender; Great location; Aquaventure - Free Pass;
Cons: Scrambled eggs could be cooked better. Runny eggs are not good to eat! Please do better.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The maid we had was nice!
Cons: Toons were to small, open the door and their us your bathroom sink, not a good layout!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I like everything I really enjoyed the location and access to Atlantis. Me and my husband cruise a lot but this has been the best trip I have been on. We loved it so much that we will be bringing the kids next year. Everything was great. I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to share my experience we loved and the room was clean and bed comfortable.
Cons: The WiFi could of been better but it’s the Bahamas and I understand. The WiFi was going in and out but since me and my kids have iPhone I was still able to text and FaceTime them so the WiFi was good enough to do that. Other than that everything was great.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable and great location with access to Atlantis. Bartender and restaurant staff were exceptional. Front desk staff were ok. Overall stay 8/10. Would definitely return.
Cons: View could have been better but didn’t stay in room much so really didn’t matter.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel employee is so awesome! I was traveling with my two daughters and was worried about their safety and she helped us out tremendously. Love that girl. Also, staff were awesome coming to help us when we needed to store our bags.
Cons: I had an issue with the women in the breakfast area. I know that they don't want you taking food out of the dining area but there is a better way of conveying that message. I was by myself and was about to grab a plate and a woman stopped me. Can't fi
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was awesome especially Jazelle and Alexis at the front desk they were great!!!
6.8 Good
Pros: The location is good, staff very helpful and nice.
Cons: Walking to Atlantis, there should be a shuttle since Comfort Suites have access to Atlantis. Breakfast should have two meats along with the eggs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, from check in to check out.
Cons: Loved everything, will stay again on mh next trip.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything and everyone
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient to Atlantis and other areas but away from hustle and bustle when you were ready to unwind or get away from Atlantis. We thought everyone was helpful and nice. The bartenders were very awesome! Front desk was helpful in calling for scooter rental, food and can get you a taxi in seconds most times. We enjoyed the on site restaurant and the pool. We stayed for 7 days and would stay there again.
Cons: The one complaint that we had as well as another group that traveled with us, the air conditioning. It is the floor wall units and they just didn’t kool as well as we like but we were able to turn the fan on high and circulate the air and stay cooler than without. We also thought we would have a microwave and did not but it worked out fine.
6.3 Good
Pros: Beds to small and uncomfortable
Cons: Beds
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing. This hotel was horrible and very expensive as well.
Cons: Our room had a terrible smell. When we complained, we were given a spray bottle. Toilets failed during the night. Furniture was ripped. Bathroom fixtures were glued together. Management did not care. Noisy, dirty, dank and $---.

7.5 Good
Pros: the place, the situation outside the city, the beautiful building
Cons: the staf wasn’t helpful but non all . The breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean, easy to navigate the check-in/check-out process, accommodating and helpful staff, quiet and beautiful location near the airport.
Cons: I sent a couple of emails to the hotel ahead of time and never heard back from them. That said, everything I needed help with was addressed when I arrived.
7.0 Good
Pros: Near airport - 5 mins by car - on hill over looking ocean/sea - sea 5 mins walk away. Old Bahamian House. Staff very nice.
Cons: Breakfast was basic. Room facilities were average. Expensive for facilities provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Large bedroom. Air conditioner in bedroom was powerful, providing us full comfort during our summertime stay.
Cons: Grass around the outdoor pool area was somewhat infested with small ants. Problem solved by wearing shoes before entering the pool.
6.8 Good
Pros: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was continental but lots of fresh fruit.
Cons: The Aircon in the bedroom leaked. The room had a wraparound walkway so that you had to keep the curtains closed if you were in the room - no privacy.
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast was put out late. Supposed to be put out at 7:00 AM wasn't out until 7:30. The view was outstanding.
Cons: When I end my evening, I like to watch TV. The TV was too small, had a terrible audio, and there were only a few of the basic channels to choose from. The shower had three containers on the wall that were not labeled. I guess one was shampoo, one might have been body wash, and I guess the last was shampoo but there was no way of knowing which one was which. There was no fan control in the room. I had to get up on a chair to change the speed of the ceiling fan. There were snacks served between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM but not on Wednesday. There was no ice bucket for the room.
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great!
Cons: The card I used to book on line was not accepted upon arrival. Their equipment is was not accepting it. Had to use a different card. Lucky I had one with me. Not convenient at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was beautiful four story elegant property with lush tropical gardens, fabulous rock pool and a wide verandah over looking the sea! Stunning in every way!! We were met by Colin, who was an absolute gentleman. He arranged dinner for us and was such a lovely host!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, quiet hotel with a beautiful view of the beach. Great location and friendly staff! Easy access to the bus. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Nothing! We loved this hotel. Thank you for a great stay!
5.1 Okay
Pros: Unique hotel with a nice deck with a great view of the ocean. The room was clean.
Cons: The hotel advertised a restuarant yet when we got there after a long day of travel we found it was closed on Sunday. We asked what was around and was told we had to take either a 15 min/$$ taxi ride to town and try to find something or walk down to the beach about 15mins in the dark to another hotel's restuarant! Neither were good opinions. The girl at the desk was not helpful at all, giving us no suggestions. Our room was clean but the lock was broken on the French doors leading to the shared balcony (a big wrap porch that circled the whole building), the lamp by the side of the bed was broken, falling off the wall, no air conditioning and the ceiling fan didn't work. We walked through the "garden" and the small pool looked more like a pond! Green! This was only a one night stay to be close to the airport but it was way to much money for what we got!

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The beach and pool are great!
Cons: The staff was rude, room was 87 deg and made 2 requests for repairs but not repaired until the next day, shower had not been cleaned. We informed Miguel the manager but he simply left a msg in our room had offered to compensate us but did not follow thru.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Oh my goodness! The Cove is superb!! I can’t say enough about Dolphin Cay!!! It was a dream come true for me. Has been on my Bucket List for a very long time. The little area where you leave the front desk to then go to the elevators was pure heaven! Mosaic-the brunch restaurant was the best brunch I’ve had in a very long time. The staff is always friendly. And the shuttle service was excellent. We also liked the adult area pool. Truly Paradise!
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was the fact people got up extremely early to snag their chairs at the pools. By the time we got to the pool there weren’t any chairs and that was around 10:30-11. Also, the adult pool should be heated. It was a bit too cold to enjoy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, huge and with a lot of entertainment offers, you can’t get bored there. The beach is amazing and extremely near the hotel. The cove pool (adults only) has a very partying vibe with loud music.
Cons: Most employees have an arrogant attitude. Everything is really expensive inside the hotel.
6.3 Good
Pros: The place was good. Enjoyed the beach.
Cons: I was in one of the premium rooms and despite the internet connection/WiFi was terrible
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exquisite Aesthetics Decor water features views. Mood music just lovely what I imagine 5-star should be
Cons: Insane food prices; mandatory tips, VAT. Sweaty plastic wristbands; but still doesn’t reduce highest all around rating because it’s a truly beautiful property. Worth it.

Pros: LOVED THE HOTEL THE VIEW THE STAFF THE GENERAL AMBIANCE OF THE PLACE WOULD DEFINITELY LIKE TO COME BACK
Cons: THE SPA- THE MASSAGE WAS DISMAL TOTAL FAILURE BUT THE MASSEUSE WAS EXTREMELY FIRIENDLY JUST COULDNT GET THE JOB DONE TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY, HOWEVER, THE FACIAL WAS GREAT THOUGH THE THE THERAPIST WAS NOT TOO FRIENDLY

Cons: Don is in process of updating the patio furniture and the landscaping. Would have been nice for a frig. Bathroom could have had a shower curtain and hand soap.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Don is super helpful, the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. Whether you're trying to see the island on a budget, want to meet other travelers, or looking to stay with a local who knows the city well rather than at a generic mega-hotel, I would definitely recommend it.

8.3 Excellent
Cons: We ordered a bottle of wine and they didn't open the bottle for us or bring a cork screw for us to open it. We called room service several times and waited over an hour until I went down myself to get the bottle opened at the bar. The fire alarm also kept on going off that 1st night. Other than that our stay was great.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location!!
Cons: The bed was terrible and uncomfortable, the pillows were old and the bathroom had water leaking from the shower and the basin.

Pros: Amazing staff, honestly the best experience I’ve had with staff at a hotel/resort would 100% recommend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great, facility was clean. I would recommend this property too anyone visiting Nassau.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Only one receptionist were nice and friendly
Cons: Over priced, the food in the pool was awful, the extra charged me money for drinks and food we had in the pool even when my partner paid it at the checkout (and I had to call them several times and even go there again for them to cancel the transaction) the charged me twice the breakfast and also there’s a construction just beside so the view is terrible and noisy from the beach... You will be better paying 30$ more and you will get a pretty nice room in the Atlantis! DON’T GET FOOLED INTO NICE PICTURES because it’s a trap!
1.0 Poor
Cons: Everything
5.0 Okay
Pros: The customer service was great
Cons: Dirty rooms, safe did not work, refrigerator smelled bad and did not work. We told the check desk and nothing was done, no follow up
1.0 Poor
Cons: The room was horrible, window was up high so could not even see out of it. Hallways were noisy all night long and cleaning carts started very early. Uncomfortable on every level and overpriced!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: very good
Cons: to many upcharges almost $300 extras on a 2 night stay
7.0 Good
Pros: Size of hotel and pool area is nice. Smaller but very nice beach. Great restaurants close to hotel. A+ housekeeping staff, very welcoming and friendly, always greeting you in the hallways asking about your stay and wishing you a great day. Nice having a Starbucks on location.
Cons: Hotel & Rooms are outdated and could use a renovation. Some of the Waitress staff at the on-site restaurant needs to learn how to properly greet and be friendly with their guests. . We witnessed one guest being yelled at for trying to get water for her toddler at the waitress station. But they were waiting so long, the women was not getting the service she needed, and went to get it herself. Waitress was very rude and could of very nicely said let me help you. But continued to just tell her she cannot do that and made an unnecessary scene. Water and coffee at on-site restaurant tastes like chemicals, so I got my coffee at Starbucks each morning.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location of the Hilton is at the perfect location, the heart of the city of Nassau.
Cons: The room was a bit too small.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Personnel and locations . Just perfect
Cons: The hotel needs an emergency refurbishment. We had an executive suite and everything looked old and bad used. Furthermore, the officer of the breakfast lounge gave us a false answer about the possibility of free breakfast so we paid every day our coffees and snacks in the Starbucks cafe inside the hotel. In general , i think that after a basic renovation the hotel will be the best in town.
