Big, well equipped bathroom and a very comfy bed in the large bedroom. Fridge in the room which was very useful. Safe parking in the barn for our classic car. Very nice breakfast with homemade everything and great attention to detail. Monday night and restaurant in village was closed, but found a brew pub in village close to motorway which served basic fare.

Pros: Everything about this place was perfect! We arrived later than expected but were greeted by friendly staff. Our rooms were HUGE. We had reservations at the restaurant (which was good as it was packed!). Enjoyed a lovely 4 course meal and met the owners. Everything about this night was amazing. Even took a bottle of the wine back to our room. The beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms huge and luxurious. We traveled with our 3 and 6 year old and felt comfortable. If you travelling between Milan and Cinque Terra, this place is the perfect spot to stop!

Their wine is great as well. We are going back for sure!
Cons: Nothing to report here!

Pros: Beautiful sophisticated Manor House in rural working farm. One can wonder around the area viewing the vineyards ,orchards in a country setting. Swimming pool and area is perfect to relax and is exceptionally clean and well maintained like all of the property. The comfortable classical rooms are set around the courtyard and breakfast is uniquely fabulous. The hosts were a delight and made us feel very welcome and part of the family. Traditional meal is available on request and served with wine from the vineyard and produce from the farm. The whole stay was a real treat and highly recommended for those who wish to experience a relaxing Italian hospitality.

Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great swimming pool and beautiful surroundings; Everything was very clean. My partner is vegetarian and they prepared special dishes for him and also for my 18 months old daughter.
Cons: The hostess was nice but we didn't feel very welcome to stay with our toddler. They were always worried that she would get the floor dirty at dinner and they ended up setting up a table for us outside; cut off from the other guests. We felt like we were being watched all the time and got reminded of a few strict rules a few times.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Mi piace molto. I loved the place and most of all the people. The rooms are created, renovated and cared for with love, style and attention. The welcome was simply perfect. A lovely couple invite you to their home and you go from being strangers to family. All the staff are caring and kind, efficient and discreet. The food was home cooking at its very best, and features farm produce from the estate. Wonderful jams and chutneys, hand-made pasta with eggs so fresh the hen has not missed them! And what wonderful wines grown, developed, and served by the wine-maker himself. A beautiful red with enough tanin to tickle the pallate, but tender and gentle to seduce the mouth. We now have a case to share with friends, and photos to treaure.

Pros: The location surrounded by vineyards and the countryside was beautiful when we were there in the fall. We enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and a delicious dinner prepared by Valentina. Pros: Food was wonderlfull, owners are very nice people and Jimmy the dog very cute
Cons:
5.6 Okay
Pros: The staff were very good, the building interesting and the attention to detail in the decor phenomenal
Cons: The pool was murky, the proprietors weren't there and left us in the hands of their gardener cum cook and the cleaning chap, there was no price list for the meals and no chance to negotiate as the cook couldn't speak English and our Italian wasn't good enough. When the owners did arrive they were courteous and perfunctory.
7.6 Good
Pros: beautiful place, very nice people, good food and wine... excellent!
Cons: no fridge in room

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was really nice, the host was very flexible concerning arrival time, very clean and a pittoresk area !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent overnight stay. Solid house, tastefully adapted for overnight guests. We were able to enjoy our own picnic style food after a long day's cycling, when we didn't want to have to cycle back into town to find somewhere to eat. They also had somewhere secure for us to lock our bikes. Great, quiet spot, restful night's sleep and fabulous and generous breakfast, with lots of homemade treats. Spotlessly clean.
Cons: Can't think of anything, as it was extremely well run and presented. To find fault for the sake of it would be mean. The location was a bit out of town and a bit tricky to find, which is the only area we've marked down a bit, but then we knew that before arrival.

Cons: Breakfast should have variety
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable, as well as the bathroom (albeit not very big.) Excellent overall price/quality ratio.
Cons: Mattress too soft for my back. It was necessary to close the inner door to isolate sounds from the corridor. The swimming pool area was fine, but the pool itself was in bad shape.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great interior design, spacious clean and quiet room.

7.1 Good
Cons: Chlorine smell all over the place, rooms are large but not well thought through and not cozy enough to enjoy the stay - many important things are missing (e.g. there was no frying pan or wine glasses); the owners should try to live themselves in these apartments to better understand what needs to be improved. Surprisingly, I have had no housekeeping service during my entire stay.

Pros: Good place, nice to stay. Everything is perfect, hope to cooperate again.
7.5 Good

7.1 Good
Pros: We booked this hotel because of the extra spa facilities and so it was very disappointing that they were not working as the long walk up and down the hill every day into town became more of a chore. The breakfast however was wonderful with freshly baked cakes and breads, Italian meats and cheese, yogurt, fruit, nuts, cappacino etc. It was a beautiful building with interesting original art work everywhere and Bobby was very kind by picking us up from town our first night when we got lost and could not find a taxi!
Cons: Not being able to use the sauna, hot tub (or pool due to being bitten alive!)
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful, classic Italian house, old school but charming if a little creepy! Bobby, our host, could not have been more hospitable. He also booked us into a beautiful restaurant for the evening of our stay.
Cons: The garden was quite wonderful but the garden furniture was dirty and a bit run down. You didn’t really feel like sitting in the garden. The swimming pool was also dirty (full of leaves and dirt) so we found a local swimming pool and took our daughter there instead which she loved.

9.0 Excellent (70 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Suite Vogue Luce in Voghera, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Parco Avventura Salice Terme and Frecciarossa Estate.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was brand new in a great location near the train station and walking distance to the main square. Very modern and very well done. I loved having Netflix in our room.
Cons: Because the room was brand new some things were not finished or not finished properly. The new toilet was not working as expected and the outlet in the bathroom (near the sink - not in the shower/toilet room) was not the correct outlet for the hair dryer. I had to bring the hair dryer into the bedroom area which did not have a mirror. the floor had not been mopped and there was construction dust all over it. Construction was still going on in the building which made for a lot of noise in the morning.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Modern, spacious, clean and fresh. Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, everything you need.
Cons: The property itself was fine, just a little tricky to find, so do your homework and make sure you have clear directions.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The family are delightful and the agriturismo a haven. We really loved the location, food and the room and we were so well looked after by the staff and particularly the daughter who spoke perfect English and was so attentive. Fabulous place to stay and wonderfully void of tourists. WiFi is outstanding throughout the property - well done, especially as the location is remote.
Cons: The breakfast is very basic and no change, so don’t expect anything other than a functional meal. The pool is stunning but such a shame there are no cushions for the chaise long or umbrellas.
7.9 Good
Pros: The room was away from the main area with it's own balcony overlooking a lovely old farm yard, it felt like we were there on our own. The brother and sister who ran it are delightful, taking at least half an hour to talk in depth to us about their wine.
Cons: It is a huge place and while we were there it was mainly full of people having a conference. So although very imaginativly designed using natural materials it did no feel exclusive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location in vineyards. Tasteful decor in rustic style. Warm welcome and attention by family owners. Best Italian food we have ever tasted. Organic wine and food most sourced on the property.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a recently renovated part of the hotel. Everything was brand new. The hotel maintained the decor of an old winery, with trellises of vines covering the walls and the terra cotta tile roofs. It was very nostalgic. The pool was spectacular. There were record high temperatures during our visit and the pool provided a wonderful relief from the heat. On site restaurant with local specialties.
Cons: The breakfast options weren't clearly presented. Although they spoke English, the breakfast options weren't very clear. A menu or buffet may have been a better options for non-Italian speakers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful place with amazing service, food, and facilities. And the pigs are adorable! Couldn't have asked for more :-D
7.5 Good
Pros: Great swimming pool Very friendly and helpful staff (family) Excellent restaurant

Cons: Tortona itself is not a pretty place and the walk into town was unpleasant. However, we found an excellent restaurant - La Corte - which we would recommend. Tortona was a convenient stopping place and Hotel Villa Julia is easily accessed from the motorway.

Pros: Family hotel with big hearts:-) Nice room, big bathroom with fresh towels and all needed cosmetics. Very good air condition. Fantastic, comfortable beds. Amazing breakfast serving „by hand”. Delicious - self baked cakes.
Cons: Definatelly, hotel needs more fresh air inside. That’s the only point! Everything was really nice.

Pros: Large comfortable room, very friendly owners, helpful and welcoming. Best of all the breakfast has to be experienced, wonderful !
Cons: Located on a busy road, care is needed entering and exiting the property by car, and especially as a pedestrian as there are no footpaths on the hotel side of the road.

Pros: Claudia was a perfect host, ready to go the extra mile for her guests comfort. The place is really cosy and authentic, clean and well-kept. Nice views around, and really peaceful. Wonderful, really.
Cons: Location is remote and transport scarse so careful planning is required if you don't have your own set of wheels - not a negative in itself, just something to keep in mind.
