Cons: There is no aircon so if it was hotter weather, it might get a bit hot in the room, but we didn’t have this problem..
Pros: Beautiful countryside setting. Comfortable guest room. Good restaurant. Close to the highway exit but not loud from the traffic.
Cons: A small and narrow road leads to the property. You could meet another car on the way and it will get “interesting”.

Pros: Breakfast was adequate with good cappuccino, yogurt, juice - cold items. Very pleasant location with many walking trails around, The decor is sort of quaint and faded - lots of plastic flowers tacked on the mantle beams and old photographs - 1940's hunting/ski lodge vibe. Dinner was very good if perhaps a bit overpriced. 12 Euros for a mushroom soup? To its credit, the hotel is in quite good condition, considering the surrounding area looks like it's all for sale , boom times passed.
Cons: Bathroom small and generic toiletries
Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: The room was 12 degrees when we arrived at 5 in the afternoon and the hotel refused to turn on the heat before the sun had gone down. So the room was too cold to stay in until 21. There was hair in the bed and the rooms were very old
Pros: Outstanding, relaxed, thoughtful staff. Warm and cosy.
Pros: Very helpful and attentive staff. Very warm people.
Cons: No complaints

Pros: Very nice, relaxing hotel. Staff were superb and the breakfast was amazing
Pros: Lovely staff and a super short golf course of 5 holes which guests can play for free Also a lovely sized swimming pool with relaxing areas and sun beds On site parking
Cons: All good
Pros: The location is great and the personal is friendly. Breakfast for Italian hotel quite OK. Quality of the dinner in the hotel was fantastic. Also the restaurant on the other side of the resort is great although it was closed on Sunday and Monday. The pool is quite big and a nice place to relax.
Cons: We found it strange that we had to decide during breakfast if we want lunch and/or dinner in the hotel although they could not tell us what the menu will be (it is a fixed menu).
Pros: Great breakfast, phantastic view, everything is clean and quiet. We would like to come back!
Pros: The property was nice with a pool and pretty surroundings. We got free tea and coffee throughout the day which was nice. The ironing room was also nice. Great for a wedding and compared to other alternatives in the area.
Cons: The checkin was at 3pm and checkout at 11 so make sure to plan accordingly. The shower unit had a hole on the side which was leaking, Also the property was supposed to have air conditioning (A/C) but in reality it was just a ventilation system that went into all the rooms with almost no air - but it was cold at night in general so an open window did the job. The bed was quite hard so could only sleep on the back, but was fine. Also the curtains were quite thin so light in the morning would come through.
Pros: Location was absolutely beautiful and staff were polite and helpful. The pool was very nice and very quiet. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh.
Cons: Lack of night time entertainment was a shame. Also found ourselves searching for bar staff most times we wanted a drink which was frustrating.
Pros: The pool has beautiful scenery and is a nice place to relax. The restaurant is quite good but overpriced.
Cons: The hotel could use a bit of a renovation. The place and building have huge potential. Unfortunately, it's not great value for money.
When you stay at Agriturismo Montagna Verde in Licciana Nardi, you'll be 14 minutes by car from Baccana Fontana Vecchia. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Food, location, staff
Pros: The food was perfect and the owner / manager were very accommodating because I was not the best of customers/guest
Cons: The rooms could do with some sort of sound proofing because you can hear other guests
Pros: Great accommodation in small historical village. Excellent local food in restaurant. Close to Tuscan-Emilian National Apennine Park which is suitable for hiking.
Cons: Access roads are narrow and twisty but it is part of experience to visit such lovely tranquil place.
Pros: Lovely mountain views. Everything was very clean. Staff were kind and helpful. Lovely restaurant, excellent value for money and fabulous flavours. Very nice pool. Good breakfast.
Cons: No air conditioning in the rooms and it was very warm at night. With windows opened (mosquito netting in place) you could just about sleep but any noise outside then woke you. Everything is very steep and a ten minute walk from check in/restaurant to rooms in the village, or a 4 minute drive by car. This was fine for us but would be difficult for less confident drivers or anyone with reduced mobility.
Pros: We stayed at Montagna Verde a whole week and could have stayed another week. Barbara and all the personnel were so friendly, food was excellent, the surroundings so beautiful. It is a perfect place to just relax and enjoy life.
Pros: The staff and food were excellent
Cons: Lack of outside space to sit that was your own
Pros: Restaurant was good, good and friendly service. the place is unique and nice
Cons: bed wasn't very comfortable, and the reception and the restaurant are far from the room (800 meters, vehicle is required)
Pros: The food was excellent in the restaurant and the breakfast was good The apartment was some 800m away from the restaurant which was fine for us as we could walk off the very good meals and wine .The breakfast room was close by . But please note they do have rooms in the restaurant Building
Pros: Very nice accomodation - the buildings of an old village have been carefully renovated; the restaurant is awsome - we had a 4 course dinner which was included in the price for the room. Everything was very delicious, homemade and our expectations were topped! Very good value for money.
Cons: The furnishing of the room was little bit worn; only detail but in rural areas essential: moskito net was damaged
Pros: It was a very special experience to be able to stay in a hilltop village. We had a lovely characterful room with a terrace looking out over the mountains. We watched the moon rise in the evening and heard the goat bells in the morning. Absolutely splendid! We also enjoyed an amazing Sunday lunch at the restaurant - endless delicious courses with wine for only €30 a head. This is a truly magical place!

Pros: Great location, terrific food and lovely people!
Pros: This gem is in the midst of nature... all you can see is nature and hear birds singing. The couple that own this beautifully restored hotel work hard and are young and energetic and do everything to make your stay comfortable, they go the extra mile ... The food was excellent by the way... the wine is very good and it comes from their vines and the olive oil... Be sure to take some bottles before you leave... I certainly did... There is also a swimming pool it's very clean and well maintained... Absolute bliss...
Cons: Honestly... There was nothing to dislike about this little gem... It was bliss...
Pros: The swimming pool was very clean and nice The restaurant on site was convenient There was a castle short walking distance that had a really nice fine dining restaurant Breakfast was bought to our room which was nice The room was well equipped in the kitchen with all the things we needed I would say great for families as there were a lot of children
Cons: The pool was great however there were quite a few rules which made it hard to relax. The breakfast was bread, croissants and yogurt which were all lovely however would have been good to have some cheese and meat or cereal to go with these . We don’t speak Italian so the language barrier was hard Wi-Fi was only available at the main reception and restaurant which made it hard to make travel plans and do research for the rest of our trip
Pros: I really liked the fact that breakfast was delivered to our room. It consisted of locally-produced items which were really good.
Cons: We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn't opened especially since we arrived at 7pm and didn't know the area too well. Luckily we found a great alternative within walking distance.
Pros: Very welcoming staff - we were offered a bottle of their lovely wine on arrival, and sat on the terrace drinking it in the November sunshine. Marvellous locally sourced and home-made food in the restaurant: we ate there every evening it was open, and it far surpassed the posh restaurant in the castle nearby. Great showers, comfortable beds, underfloor heating. The swimming pool was closed for winter when we were there, but would be great in summer. The agriturismo also has apartments in the grounds.
Cons: An indoor sitting area for guests, available throughout the day, would be a good idea.
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic. The location was quaint and near a medieval castle, which was fun to check out.
Cons: The pool had just been treated when we arrived around 5pm, and it didn't open again until 9am the next morning . We needed to leave at 9am the next mornibg, so we couldn't swim. We partially chose this place because it had a pool. We were hiking 10-15 miles on the Via Francigena each day, so were really looking forward to a post hike swim.
Pros: We had a lovely stay. The best! We really liked the natural green environment and the easy friendly atmosphere. Very kind couple hosting and a clean pool and really amazing restaurant. The kids loved it as well. Thank you for these happy days at your agriturismo!!!
Pros: Great food, great swimmingpool, very nice hosts
Pros: excellent breakfast
Cons: access road very narrow and huge cobblestones. room really small
Pros: Breakfast and evening meal was amazing, as was the wine!

Pros: Friendly service Good and quiet location Fantastic kitchen Nice rooms
Pros: a nice bed and breakfast, the staff at the reception were very helpful
Cons: rather pricey for what it offers, breakfast could be better
Pros: A wonderful family-run hotel and restaurant! We enjoyed our one- night stay on drive from Trentino to Tuscany, in this lovely small town. Room was very nice with balcony, food was wonderful! Dinner was exceptional, and the next morning, "our table" in dining room, where we had sat for dinner, was set and ready for us! Family all friendly, even with language difficulties (we knew no Italian, their English was limited but willing to try and used phone app to translate for us!). View of town from balcony was just awesome! Location of hotel on a hillside above town offered a quiet park-like setting. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Cons: The toilet space was cramped as it was crowded too close to sink. (Typical small shower that we are used to seeing in Italy.)
