Pros:If you like 50's era retro motels you will love this - large rooms with separate dressing area and separate bathrooms. Not your chain hotel at all. Our room had a strange noise that we could not identify so they put us in a second room with no noise. Seems the first room's phone was off the hook slightly which caused a high pitched noise. Staff was excellent and recommended wonderful restaurant not too far away. We had a microwave and fridge in our room also. Both rooms were clean and comfy.
Cons:No coffee in room, only available in the office which does not open until 8 am. But there is a Giant gas station with a wonderful coffee bar just down the street.

Pros:Vintage style, very clean, very friendly, a few blocks from the center of town. Why pay more for the corporate, sterile feel of a chain? We picked this because it was affordable - and will stay there the next time we're in Cortez.
