The hotel is located on a beautiful hillside, with a wonderful view. It was centrally located and easy to get around the area. The beds were extremely uncomfortable.
The location was perfect for touring the hill towns of the Piedmont and for taking advantage of the excellent dining opportunities the area provided. The beds were a extremely firm. Not exactly my taste.
value for money beds to hard
Great location only 500m from a charmng hill town in Piemonte. The owner was also very attentive to our needs and made several very helpful recommendations for restaurants and local sightseeing.
cleanness No wi-fi as advertise (hardly any reception) and is misleading when you book the room.
The owner/manager was very friendly, we had a Junior suite which had a fabulour balcony with viws to the village and over the grapevines. There is a restuarant underneath the hotel which is fabulous It is not located in the village of Neive, but a nice walk up the hill, 10 mins maybe. I felt the breakfast could be improved upon with more fruit and some muesli, and a better selection of bread, possibly because we are Aussies we prefer fruit and cereal rather than the more European option
Staff was very friendly & professional no
Good location, frendy staff and an excellent restaurant in the same building.
The View The water pressure in the bathroom was very poor and therefore using the shower was particularly disappointing
High-level accommodation in a rustic region. Good location 15 minutes from Alba in the heart of the Barbaresco area, a 10-minute walk from the picturesque village of Neive. The hotel would benefit from being slightly more down-to-earth. Wlan coverage was not as good as you would expect in a hotel of this level.
Nice Staff, Quite but central. Good winebar.
Lovely, well situated hotel in a beautiful hilltop village. The staff were so nice and welcoming. Relaxed atmosphere overall. Good breakfast. We booked a junior suite on line and this seemed ok. Than we received an e-mail saying that there had a double booking for this room. The website should have been updated. The room we stayed in was really nice but I had been looking forward to this special room.
very friendly, clean and good food
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and nice room Upon checking out, the clerk did not have record of my internet reservation. She offered that I pay Euro 85 when I had already paid Euro 95, so I felt that I was overcharged Euro 10.
Great value for a pricey area: the rooms are spacious, smartly appointed, and very clean. Best of all, it was small and quiet, in spite of being centrally located to areas of interest in the village, and to other towns in the region.
Very nice and all modern comfort available. Staff has always time for questions and help. Second time in this hotel and we will come back again in November.
It was wxcellent, a real jewel
Beautiful view from the pool and spa overlooking the vinyards. Pool and spa about 100m from hotel and apts, but worth the walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Apt was excellence, too bad there was no view from there but very comfy and stylish.
Very friendly personel, nice location, fantastic views at the swimming pool
the staff were ever so helpful and courteous, you need a car to get there but it's well worth the drive!
Clean, comfortable, spacious and stylish rooms with an excellent breakfast buffet. Very, friendly and helpful staff who were able to arrange things locally; nothing was too much trouble.
friendly hotel staff, nice rooms, located in picturesque surroundings
The setting was lovely; and the hotel service terrific. We had a lovely room with small terrace providing a perfect place to rest after touring the area.
Friendly, helpful staff Beautiful location Easy to travel to The issue about the air conditioning not working was not recified before we departed
Maybe overdoing it a bit however, its all great; Great hotel, great location, very helpful staff, fantastic views, amazing swimming pool. Great restaurants in the area especially "Arsivoli" da Tomy in Barbaresco. The pork was to die for! The only min points is that we had to go home....!
