was good for our christmas fuction all i had to do was walk up stairs all good
That we checked in early due to our daughters wedding and our room was upgraded so that we could have early access,Also we had a premium breakfast each tht was fantastic.
No wireless network available
convenient to the show we were attending & to the casino pillows
Very happy with our stay
great room, nice and big. spa was great. very clean room. would definately stay again.
fantastic rooms and services available
The rooms are a good size and are very well maintained and the views are very nice of the city and river. I had asked for champaigne to be in the room when I checked in and had to ring room service to get it.
Absolute professionalism of staff. Decore, friendliness and surroundings. I love the hotel, however, a bar that serves drinks (alcoholic, no-alcoholic etc) that is available for those that do not want to enter Casino either before restaurants open or after restaurants close. No quiet place to chat, have a drink out of the hours above within the hotel complex.
Stayed recently for a wedding and found the stay to be only ok..... whilst it has good access to the casino and nightlife, it is now dated. The foyer and main restaurant and being renovated so hopefully this will improve things more. The rooms are very dated and tired and are overpriced in comparison to other hotels. I was hoping for a larger and better room and although we booked a king room, we were given two single beds. We were also charged $7 to use cutlery that we requested be bought to the room. The renovations mean that the reception area is very noisy during the day.
Ease of accessing the appointments my wife and I were scheduled to make with family. Proximity to the restaurants in the Fishing Harbour. Relaxed atmosphere in the lounge area to have a quiet drink and chat. Nothing really, it was an enjoyable stay.
The hotel is very well located for anyone who wants to get a feel for Fremantle, which is a very neat city. The balcony and the pool made things very relaxing. Everything was satisfactory. The only blemish was a fairly noticeable brown stain on the comforter on the bed that appeared quite new. The cleaning staff never changed that.
Positive attitude of staff historic buildings....but nicely modernised.....location
Position of the Hotel, walking distance to all attractions Expensive to park car through hotel valet
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was all great.
Hotel is located just a block or two from many restaurants, and direct access to the waterfront. Check out time is 11am - but seems to be the standard in WA.
we liked the proximity to main street, for coffee and walks as we were there for a birthday this suited for location we thought the cost of breakfast was far to dear, we used other venues, which was good as we saw more of freo and enjoyed the variety
excellent location great staff enjoyable visit
The Esplanade is well located within walking distance of all Fremantle sites and the restaurant areas. I felt that the cost of additional services such as internet and parking were excessive and unreasonable given the high room tariffs already applied. The hotel is nice but a bit "tired" in its overall appearance and services.
Staff very helpful when we arrived
Beautiful location although obliged to take taxis when moving. Helpful personnel. I experienced a bit noise from other guests over the weekend
Would stay there again, location a bit inconvenient, but water views excellent. Hotel needs refurbishment, Breakfast expensive but good. not really
Very convenient walking distance to Fremantle's main attractions. Nice indoor/outdoor breakfast area. Free parking behind the building for guests (but take the first (eastern most) of the two entry ways as the second one has a very sharp elevation change and your car may bottom out). Clean. Free to use DVDs, and a PC with internet access. Room (#2) did not appear to have any (user settable) climate control - or at least I could not find it, and it was very hard to find an electrical outlet to plug in a charger (I found a free one on an extension cord below the bed eventually).
Central to all Fremantle attractions, comfortable, good kitchen and breakfast room. 1. When we asked if we could have a late check out (premises empty except for us) we were told no, but then suddenly yes if we would pay an extra night's charge. 2. A sulky male receptionist, clearly untrained in hospitality.
Quiet room, reasonably priced, close to Fremantle. Breakfast arrangement satisfactory. No
The atmosphere was what I liked, I was not a number and welcome. The coffee, but that's pretty normal for Australian standards
Very nice large room in a converted terrace house very well located close to shops, restaurants and many sightseeing features.
we liked the location to shopping resturants . The hotel was lovely and comfortable and clean .The breakfast was plentiful and fresh We really enjoyed our stay at your B&B and would recomend it other travellers wanting to visit Fremantle
Location was excellent for walking all that Freo has to offer; use of a computer in the room. Bedding was old and tired and would benefit from being replaced. Service was perfunctory.
I liked the position, atmosphere, breakfast and friendly staff. It was different to other hotels, which was very charming. I had to turn off the very noisy frig, which rattled during the night.
Stayed at the Bakery Studio and very nice and comfortable with sofa, tv and dvd (+ free DVDs available) and free internet (2hr vouchers). Location very good (close to restaurants and bars). I can definitely recommend this place !!!! Deserves a 9/10 ! Breakfast could have more variation, but this is just a minor detail.
The owners were particularly friendly & I was given an upgrade to an apartment without asking. The apartment was in the new part of the building & was very modern & well fitted. The old part of the hotel is very charming & quaint. N/A
