10.0 Excellent
Pros: I absolutely loved my stay with Roy & Jo in their adorable BnB. I felt like I was staying with dear friends and they hosted me like I was part of their family. Breakfast was SO GOOD and more food than I could eat! They gave me great recommendations for what to see and do in the area, and always made sure I was comfortable and prepared for my days. My favorite thing was being in my room with the huge windows open to the sunny terrace overlooking the river and bridge. I really hope to come back again!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, great beds, fantastic breakfast, wonderful host
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were wonderful!
Cons: The town itself didn't have many restaurant options....the B and B was excellent! Great location to explore Cathar Trail from just needed to scout out evening dining options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything... good food, friendly service, room very comfortable and spacious, perfect location central to all amenities and gorgeous views of river Aude. Hospitable and amenable hosts to families, couples and singles. Would highly recommend to anyone. 10/10 !!
Cons: Totally no negative issues for us. Only praise!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well located, very central. Hosts were wonderful with answers to all questions fired at them. I would stay there again and recommend anyone who wishes to stay in the area to do the same.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect: from the size and interior of the room to the royal breakfast and kind hosts! Thank you Roy!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, very clean, but also very beautiful, art nouveau period gem, lots of lovely ceramics, chandeliers, art objects and furniture... but not a museum, it was a very comfortable B&B, good bed, excellent bathroom, lovely view over the river and all for what seemed a bargain price to me. I also liked the owners and their dogs very much. I would stay again if I get the chance to be down there.
Cons: Nothing I disliked -- it was virtually perfect.
10.0 Excellent

Le Pont Vert Chambres d'hôtes - Campagne-sur-Aude - Outdoors view

9.3 Excellent (68 reviews)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was extremely convenient for sites of interest (Cathar castles). The immediate location looked a bit scrappy but was actually very quiet and fine. It's just off a main road from Limoux to Maury. There's nothing of interest locally so you do need transport. The room had tea and a kettle which was a nice change.
Cons: Everything was fine.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Helen was a great host. And being from England speaks English very well of course. Was very helpful by providing maps of the places we wanted to hike, and breakfast was excellent. Our room was charming. The location was excellent. Very close to Rennes Les Bains, Pech Cardou, and Pic Bucharach.
Cons: The room was delightful, but the hallway seemed a bit musty. Wasn't a bother, but am including this for people that might have health issues that this might affect. The room was fine though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was very friendly and was good conftable bed, nice shower and all this for a good price
Cons: The bridge to the house is very narrow, car just fitted and had to turn in backwards in the darkness it was very tricky. For the rest no remarks

Pros: Nice owner, clean rooms, clean bat room, nice quinte place. We were allowed to leave pur Bags early in the mornig. 15 Minutes from Renne le chateaux
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a wonderful place with such a warm welcome. In the heart of the country, just next to a spring. Helen was helpful in every way. I wholeheartedly recommend Le Pont Vert
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host Helen is warm and professional. The beds are comfortable, plus for the excellent organic breakfast with fresh croissants, youghurt, cheese and fruitsalad. Wonderful location.
Cons: I do not like that Booking.com withdraw the payment several days in advance though it says clearly on the website that the owner wants to be paid cash. We were two people sharing the room and we wanted to pay half each with separate receipts. I find it very strange that Booking.com refused to meet the request to put half the amount back on my credit card and let my friend pay the rest with hers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable, easy access to local villages.
Cons: Nothing

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The whole ambience, of this property exceeded our expectations. Beautifully run, staff very attentive and helpful. Food amazing, we had lunch, evening meal and buffet breakfast suberb!! Birthday treat for my husband, we highly recommend this Château and would definitely visit again.
Cons: Not applicable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I profoundly pity anyone who does not fall in love with this Chateau. My husband and I absolutely fell in love with it! This was our second visit (the first was to the restaurant a year ago; we came back just to stay in the hotel itself and dine at the restaurant each night!) The history of the chateau, the area, its exquisite early Renaissance architecture, the luxurious design touches in the rooms, the fabulous medieval and Cathar inspired artwork lining the hallway walls, the gorgeous serenity of the countryside, the sound of the rushing river behind the hotel... How sad if this is not enough for you! Additionally, the facilities are terrific: AC, wifi, easy parking, comfortable beds, heated pool, private bathrooms with thoughtful touches (such as a mini sewing kit, shoe shine, information on the region, great lighting, etc.) Most importantly, the staff are PHENOMENAL. They are the epitome of excellence: courteous, friendly, knowledgable, definitively experts at hospitality. The elegance, amity and thoughtful kindness we experienced was unforgettable. (Also the restaurant is SUPERB!!!) We got excellent wine recommendations each night and savored the regional wines!
Cons: We loved everything!!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view and gardens
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place for a gourmet dinner, romantic medieval castle atmosphere and exploring area. The staff was very friendly and attentive and it is highly recommended for 1-2 nights stay.

Cons: Na
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our welcome was excellent and the evening meal was superb - good service and wonderful food. The courtyard dining al fresco worked well and very pleasant.
Cons: Too many cushions on the bed for a standard room which made it cluttered on the floor The pillows (1 each ) were uncomfortable - not sure if there were others available. Acoustics could be improved between floors
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not the cheapest of places to stay but well worth the cost for the setting and charm. A top class meal in delightful surroundings with an excellent menu to choose from and a stunning wine list.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful food, service and setting in an historic building with lovely pool
Cons: Nothing of note in Couiza
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warmly welcomed back after many years, the stay was a special treat! The setting, atmosphere and history of the place matched with brilliant staff made it for me!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms, delicious food. An amazing place
Cons: Because it’s an old chateau there are many steps to the second floor rooms and no elevator/no room service. Mini bars would therefore be helpful and enough tea bags /coffee for more than 1 person if two people are staying. Ask for first floor rooms to avoid this. Food is served in a courtyard. It is delicious but because it is outside, people were smoking. This was a little off putting

Cons: ;stop the gutter dripping with rain water onto the verandah
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful peaceful mountain village location. Comfy property with lovely views and good facilities. Proximity to Rennes le Chateau and Rennes les Bains. Good breakfast.
Cons: Really hard to find anywhere to eat. The very few restaurants we did manage to find were either closed or 'not serving food' (?!) The male owner wasn't helpful regards suggesting anywhere. There were cooking facilities if you thought ahead and took your own food. We wanted to eat out. I accidentally knocked a little pot bedside lamp off the bedside stool and it cracked. It had a curved base and wasn't very stable. I took it straight down to Reception to tell the owners. The male owner showed a displeased face and charged me 20 Euros which was a little disappointing. The lady owner was friendlier than the man, but neither were particularly warm.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: For a city dweller like me, Jardin de la Sals was definitely rustic... BUT it still had all the modern bathroom features etc that you would want and the overall beauty and peace of the location (and the kindnesses of Nicole) easily eclipsed any rural quirks. It's absolutely gorgeous and the lounge room with kitchen facilities and allocated space for all guests to store/make food was an unlooked-for bonus. It doesn't have air-conditioning but the owners were completely right when they said that it isn't needed (thick stone walls) and I slept well every night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A remote place but just amazing accommodation and welcome
6.8 Good
Pros: Very kind, friendly, hospitable staff.
Cons: Needed to be a bit warmer.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Surprised at first by how basic it was but then loved the quirkiness of the accommodation.
Cons: Room could have been warmer in the evening.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Charming room in a very sweet little village with lots of history. Make sure you see the old abbey and pick up a leaflet with a walking tour of the ancient town. It was especially nice to have a kettle in the room.

Pros: Breakfast was fine and the bed very comfortable. Owner was very pleasant.
Cons: Didn't realize it was a very old building and our room and shower had an unpleasant smell.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpfull staff; room was nice and very clean. Good breakfast!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Unfortunately the WiFi didn't work on the code I was initially given but that was sorted out quite quickly. The family running the guest house were charming and the breakfast with guests all seared at a large table was extremely convivial. I had requested tea making facilities in the room which were indeed provided.
Cons: Just the dodgy wifi. The booking form also promised a hair dryer which was not in the room but as I didn't need one it wasn't a problem. Perhaps it was available on request?
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay - comfortable room and beds. Good breakfast with very fresh bacquetes (sorry for my poor French) directly from a local baker. Staff was perfect. In that locality is limited offer of restaurants therefore we had to travel around.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: A little old fashioned for me

Cons: Single bed too soft and warm for me.

Pros: The accommodations were simple but adequate, but the location was spectacular. We had a balcony overlooking the river and town, and it was a simple walk to the Thermal Pool It was lovely. Food spectacular.
Cons: My husband found the bed uncomfortable, but I thought it was fine. We are tall and the shower was short!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location on the river.
Cons: Although it is non smoking in the hotel, there is still smoke. If you’re terribly sensitive you wouldn’t be happy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicole the innkeeper was very helpful and informative and was very patient with me as a limited French speaking visitor. I also love the location as it was right on the river and I had a room with a balcony and it was great to have breakfast each day and be able to look out at the river as well…. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable.
Cons: It wasn’t really clear what the hours for dinner were.... or what days the restaurant was closed. That would be good to share upfront.

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The sorroundings.
Cons: It looked simply abandoned, as if it hadn't been taken care of for a long time. Dirt was all over and some things were broken. Our room stank like old 70s furniture and when we wanted to open the window a bunch of worms fell off from inside the wood. We did not stay, and we find it hard to believe that anyone would do happily. Even if your are not as picky, it's certainly not worth the price.
