10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved everything about Maison d'Hôte de Myon. From the minute that we checked in we knew that we had made the right choice for our stay in Nancy. The owner and the staff were very friendly and very responsive to our needs. The property is absolutely beautiful and our room was perfect, overlooking the courtyard. The property was located within minutes of the historical area of Nancy and although we had a car, we didn’t need it to get around the city. If you are thinking about visiting Nancy then this place is where you want to be.
Cons: Everything was exceptional.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully presented. High quality fittings and bedding. An excellent breakfast.
Cons: Poor WiFi
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The hotel is beautiful with great decor, very well located too. Breakfast was very tasty and the hostess was super friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Lots of character
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location, just a 5min walk from Nancy cathedral and 10min walk from Place Stanislas; both must-see sites to visit. The host, Martine, was very friendly and knowledgable and she helped us with parking when we arrived. Our room on the first floor was clean and cosy and had everything we needed; and the outdoor courtyard was a lovely place to sit and relax.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location on a quiet side street a few minute walk from place Stanislas. Lovely owner. Beautiful out door area for included continental breakfast and lovely furnishings throughout the house. Her art work and collections of Daum etc are beautiful. She holds other events there so at times there are groups outside. Martine told us about the light show taking place every night in place Stanislas which we were unaware of and it was spectacular.
Cons: Lack of any toiletries and Internet is not available inside the house so you couldn’t connect in your bedroom or any of the parlors. Forgot that there was no a/c and it was terribly hot but we did have a fan in the room. Also, as lovely as Martine is she did not like that we wouldn’t leave some of our luggage in the car. We were staying for 3 nights. The stairs are very steep and my husband was happy to take said luggage upstairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A gem of a place! Everything was excellent and the owner was delightful and very helpful. Our stay there was too short!
6.8 Good
Pros: good location
Cons: focus is on the interior which is very nice, however, functionality is very poor, including no mosquito screens, which are badly needed, noise control of noisy neighbors, poor heat insulation, polluted air because the location is in the center. Yes, the looks of this accommodation is authentic and great in detail, but the owner has very little understanding of making this accommodation functional/comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unique historic place, beautifully restored and decorated
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Everthing was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yannick was a fabulous host. His apartment is very close to the train station, tram lines and busses, within a 5 minute walk. He had iced water waiting for us and treats. The bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. The shower is a dream. He let us use his kitchen and helped my husband with his French.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved it! Great apartment and great host! You need to pay extra for the parking and the breakfast, but breakfast was great and we really enjoyed our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very convenient location, within easy walking distance of the railway station and the city centre. Very good value for money and a very cheerful and knowledgeable host. A very pleasurable stay, but all too brief.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind; all went well.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Bright and full of hospitality. Opportunities for conversation with friendiy staff. Familiarity with Nancy is up.
Cons: The man on the ground floor is unkind. Access the room is complicated. I wasted the washing machine at an extra charge.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, two minute walking to Place Stanilas, an apartment exactly for our needs (named Vincent), with two windows, a bed room, a living room with many facilities and so on. The other apartments are of different sizes, pay attention, each one with a different name. There are no physical keys, but codes to open the gate, the front door and the apartment door. Mr. Vincent supplied them on time. No concierge, but room service (cleaning) is included.
Cons: A little more flexibility on checkout time would be of great help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect with everything in the centre of Nancy in very close walking range.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location just off the main square but very secluded with private parking. The building is a 19c mansion that has been thoughtfully renovated to a very standard and design. We had Juliette room with garden view that was a joy with its eclectic mix of art and accessories. High quality linen and towels together with beautiful toiletries made for a memorable stay. It is an apartment so coffee maker, kettle, wine glasses are all provided.Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vincent, our host, was very accommodating to all of our needs. These are beautiful apartments just a few blocks from Place Stanislas. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Nancy.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was great, plenty, unique

8.3 Excellent
Pros: A lovely Chateau quite a long way from Luneville with pretty rooms & Gardens. The highlight without a doubt was the fabulous Michelin star restaurant well worth staying just for the outstanding culinary experience.
Cons: Unfortunately the WiFi connection was not good & this was important as we needed to be in touch with our business.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The managers and their staff were incredibly alert, very friendly and superbly professional. The meals were sublime, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and breakfast in gorgeous surroundings. The rooms large, comfortable and quirkily decorated
Cons: Weak WiFi but that is not their fault but that of the coverage in the area out of their control
7.5 Good
Pros: Attractive location. Authentic, if slightly dated accommodation
Cons: Too focussed on their ‘cuisine’ rather than on primary hotel facilities
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very expensive for the value
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service and the breakfast were amazing. Nice and quiet pool. Staff is really caring.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We travel a lot but we have never experienced friendlier and more welcoming staff! The two rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, very clean and the beds were great. The dining experience was amazing. We loved all the little touches: There were peaches, macaroons and chocolate in the rooms. After arriving we ordered tea to our rooms and it came with delicious slices of cake. Before an excellent dinner we ordered drinks on the terrace and again they were served with some delicious amuse bouches. The breakfast was spectacular! When we left we received a bag with littles cakes (Madeleines) for our journey and the owner waved us good-bye :-)! Wonderful hotel with a beautifully romantic garden. Dog-friendly.
Cons: Nothing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome service, food, and location

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Town centre and clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Catherine was very kind and the apartment perfet for my stay in Nancy.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very comfortable large double bed. Apartment well fitted out with nice extras such as coffee. Quiet due to good windows despite construction opposite. Very central location, great for public transport and daytime sightseeing. Due to train strike, we wanted to arrive earlier to be sure of getting there, owner agreed we could checkin before standard time of 6pm. Second key was provided on request - but this should be standard for 2 people staying several days.
Cons: Communication was an issue. Owners usually send entry codes days before, but this owner waited until after we arrived to send codes. At the same time, unluckily for us, owner broke her mobile so could not return many calls/SMS, so we waited outside in cold and rain until she replied to an email (which had been sent 3 hours earlier!) Suggest avoiding Sunday/Monday as downtown deserted at night, restaurants mostly closed, and only able to visit many places on later in the week eg Art Nouveu museum/ecole closes Monday and Tuesday!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: New, well designed apartments with a nice view over the golf links and swimming pool.
Cons: Bathroom rather small
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Such a wonderful place not like another one Lots of history The staff was outstanding
8.8 Excellent
Pros: What a delightful hotel! All the charm of heritage mixed with some stylish, but really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel's location contributes and the breakfast is exquisitely served. I had Internet access problems but these were resolved soon. The little bottle of champagne for the initial disappointment was very much appreciated. That's good customer service together with some fine restaurant recommendations.
Cons: Perhaps the wifi needs a little attention!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a charming old building full of characters a wonderful change from the modern box! The staff were most helpful with excellent recommendations for restaurants and local amenities. I was driving a classic car so important I had a secure place to park, the receptionist accompanied me to a secure private car park so that was another plus

Pros: Superb staff, AC worked great, awesome location close to all the old town sites & cafes/bars, nice clean bathroom with amenities, beautiful old building & very secure.
Cons: Parking is limited in the area; however, we reserved a space and it was not a bad walk to the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very traditional and historic hotel on fantastic location. Rooms are generous and hotel and staff makes you feel home. The internet worked well and was reasonably stable.
Cons: Did not sleep well at all! The mattress was curved and used. While I am sensitive with my back even my partner left the place with a back pain. We booked the "Haussonville Room".
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Hotel was excellent. Staff was beyond excellent. Location could not have been better.

Pros: Lovely location away from the centre, with a beautiful park nearby where I could walk my dog. The room was large and very nicely designed. The restaurant specially prepared a vegetarian dish for me which was very good. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: The room was at the top of the house and was warm. 2 of 3 windows did not open. Luckily I had a fan.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great little pearl in an oasis of calm...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable. Clean. Nice owner.
Cons: 18 minutes to town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and nice .The dinner we had was superb!tres gourmet!it was a very nice stay!
7.0 Good
Pros: It is a well appointed hotel in a good location in the suburbs overlooking the town. The staff are efficient and helpful.
Cons: We were informed on our arrival on Friday that we would be better on the second floor as ‘a group was arriving’ on Saturday. We were NOT told about the loud disco/party which continued until after 3am on Sunday morning. We were given a discounted price for that night but would have preferred a good night’s rest as we were travelling that day (being on the second floor made no difference to the noise in any case.) Disappointing, particularly as the hotel describes itself as ‘a haven of tranquility’. You would be well advised to check that your stay does not coincide with any similar event. An email to the vacationing owner remains unanswered which may be an indication of how guests are regarded by the establishment.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was basic and vey bread based but still nice and there was sufficient of it. Evening meal was excellent. Room large and very comfy. Parking excellent.
Cons: Lots of stairs.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: An interesting building with unusual decor and furnishings. Very comfortable bed. Excellent shower (though separate toilet).
Cons: Very warm night and only a fan to cool the room. Breakfast was disappointing. Very basic and no fruit available.
Le Clos De La Bergerie - Crévéchamps - Bedroom

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing host . Nice and very polite lady . Good size rooms and very clean .
Cons: Check in 6 pm . Nothing around the area : no shops or cafe or restaurant . No cooking opportunity. So you have to buy dinner for 15€ , or a drink for 3€ . 7€ for a dog . All the information was provided after the booking . If you need an overnight stay better be prepared and have food before or carry your own drink and snack .
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner very cheerful and helpful Cleanliness The room with the exit to the garden Good breakfast
Cons: Check-in/out 6pm - 9am Only 1 bathroom and WC to share with the others
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant hosts, very friendly
Cons: Possibly a little more choice at breakfast, for example some fresh fruit? But it was otherwise very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was very welcoming and place was spotless, smelt clean and the common areas was light & spacious. The bathroom was a modern wet room with a Jacuzzi bath. Our host cooked a lovely meal (3 course) which was very welcoming after a long drive. Breakfast was toast, cheese, chicken, chocolate spread and yogurts. Tea, coffee and orange juice.
Cons: Our room was warm but not unexpected with temperatures of 37c. We were given mobile airco unit and a fan by the host which made the night bearable. Having to share a bathroom and WC with other guests was personally something would stop me booking again. There was only one other couple and they left very early.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The building is brand-new! It lies in a very quiet, small suburban area, making it a bit hard to find though. The house is unmarked, for obvious reasons as explained when asked. The outside parking area is very big, however since we arrived by motorbike some room in the garage was created! The lady in charge is very helpful and willing to assist with about everything! She is very enthusiast about showing all the gadgets in the house and providing you the answers. It is a pity we do not speak much French, because that is the only language we had in common. The building is modern, light, very spacious and up to standard. All rooms (including the bathroom and a separate toilet) are large and very clean. Cold drinks are available. The terraces were still under construction but they are expected to be very nice and spacious once finished. The breakfast is great! It is a perfect place for people on the move in search of a night stop.
Cons: There is nothing serious to complain about

6.3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Outrageous price! No complimentaries: no wifi, no bottles of water, no coffee/tea. Disgusting smell of sewerage in the lobby. Smelly ashtrays in front of the main door which are annoying inside the rooms above them.

Cons: We expected no air conditioning, but it was very hot! Fan was nice addition!

Pros: excellent location, truly great, smart and friendly staff!
7.5 Good
Pros: Well located, clean rooms and good bedding
Cons: No stand up shower, too much light comes through the shutters in the morning
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elegant and historic hotel right next to the city cathedral. Very stylish redesign of what must have been a priest college. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Relatively few parking spaces right outside the hotel - but a parking house is very close by as well as several small public parking areas less than 100m away from the hotel in either direction.
Hotel De Guise - Nancy - Building

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was close to the Center.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. No parking but massive car-park minutes walk away. Hotel staff extremely friendly. Lovely interior. Could not have asked for more.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful building in a wonderful location
Cons: No minibar in the room and no airco, but the staff happily provided us with free bottles of cold water and the room did have a mobile fan
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Lovely old building with character.
Cons: No lift for people with mobility issues, but maybe it would be difficult to install property?
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We thought it was going to be out of the way, but once we got there we realized it was just down from Place Stanislas (this was an amazing part of town that was literally breathtaking with its unexpected beauty and grandeur). The rooms were Paris-size, which was ok since the bathroom was large and the grandstair case is big too. The hotel is just a few minutes walk away from a VERY lively nightlife, with loads of eating options in the squares and avenues around there. We found the food options cheaper closer to the hotel; around Place Stanislas the prices went up alot.
Cons: The roads are narrow and one-way in many places, making parking a real challenge. There is no lift which can make getting to your room with all the luggage a bit of a challenge, but since the staircase and steps are these wide, expansive old-timey steps, it makes up for the effort by helping you imagine you live in a mansion.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hôtel is near the hearth of old Colmar. U
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent overall, the historic style of the hotel, the spaciousness, room design (murals on walls) and location were the string points.
Cons: No real issues, room a little small but perhaps to be expected in a large city Hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very kind and attentive staff. Told us a lot of interesting history of the building. Extremely helpful with my need for a gluten free breakfast. Ideally situated to see the old town with lots of very good restaurants nearby, and parking in nearby streets.
Cons: Just a bit unfortunate that there were insects in the velour headboards but it didn't spoil our stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Lovely renovations to the bathrooms, room very quiet Staff lovely and friendly
Cons: Nothing to note
9.3 Excellent
Pros: See my earlier review.I came back as I like the hotel a lot. The art in the rooms, the old well preserved building with its original features, entrance long and grand staircase, all served to du differentiate thus hotel from most others. Location is great, good breakfast, great staff.
Cons: Room just a little small

Pros: A nice and recently renovated place, situated within walking distance from Nancy's city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful! P.s. We have parked our car outside - there is a bus station right next to the property where one does not have to pay a parking ticket on Sundays.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spacious apartment, well equiped, walking distance place stan, carrefour around the corner
Cons: No communication about fact that parking garage was full. Parking on the street was however ample and cheap
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious room
Cons: No instant coffee was provided in the room
6.3 Good
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious for a hotel in a big city.
Cons: This hotel is unstaffed, which naturally felt very impersonal.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Simon was really nice
Cons: Not good cooling system, checking was difficult, no clear instructions for the parking , they should submit the information upon request
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is very close to the central square Place Stanislas, without being too noisy.
Cons: It was a late arrival, and I didn't receive an entry code to the reception and the safe where the room entry code was waiting for us. It was only due to some very helpful maintenance guy who have seen our group struggling to enter the reception (which is empty on Sundays after 6 pm) and helped us get our access codes. My understanding was, that in case of late arrival I should have receive an email with entry details and it has not been sent.

Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and the proximity to amenities and sites. Great parking even though it was public parking
7.5 Good
Pros: Property was very clean and comfortable and location was good.
Cons: I would like to inform any traveller who is driving that the parking facility underground is not connected with the hotel and is very expensive, for us to park our car overnight cost 40 euros which effectively adds 40 euros to the cost of your hotel room. I think it should be made very clear on the booking site about the cost of parking. This spoiled our experience of Nancy.
7.0 Good
Pros: The property was easy to find when travelling by car, and plenty of car parks nearby.
Cons: The picture on the website shows an historical building when you click on the hotel, however it is a high rise glass fronted commercial type building so a bit misleading.

Pros: Location was good and owner was accommodating to us arriving late on a Sunday night.
Cons: Before making booking, it was not well described that this was a room is someone's private house. (This was clarified after looking was made by the owner.)

Cons: Compact bedroom with small shower room, ok for one night but wouldn’t like to stay longer
7.0 Good
Pros: Convenient location near Nancy adjacent to main motorways.
Cons: The room was so small and the bathroom roughly the size of those you get in a small caravan. Also it was dark and dingy with bright spotlights illuminating the bed whilst all other surfaces where pitch dark - I used my phone camera light to look for things in my suitcase

Cons: Waiting staff a bit slow on bringing our wine part way through main course before it arrived.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, price
Cons: The reception did not talk English, The walls between the doors was thin and one could hear her neighbor easily, the heating was not working the first night and my room was very cold, the Internet quality was not good
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice decor Practical bathrooms Very friendly welcome (even though we were late check in)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: My room was beautiful with a lovely view! Clean and comfortable. Close and convenient to the main attraction and not far from the train station. The gentleman who checked me in was an absolute gem, very personable and friendly! A really nice breakfast selection as well.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: While the external aspect of the hotel is not that good, I must say that it was a very good hotel: the room was not big but it had everything, the bad was comfy, the shower quite large, the wi-fi ok, the room was clean and well equipped. Check-in and checkout were quick and effective. The position was great because even if it isn't in the city center, it is quite close to the stop of tram number 1, so in a few minutes you reach the train station and the old town. The road is not that noisy so the room was quiet. All in all, I was satisfied by my choice.
Cons: Just a few negative things: the room needed some kind of blinders (the windows had only a white curtain) to make dark at night; the sink was very small, so that it was almost impossible wash your face without flooding the bathroom; the personnel doesn't speak any English: while I had no big problem in the communication, I think that they could learn a little English... The breakfast was ok but maybe they could offer something more in terms of variety.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean facility and rooms with nice amenities. Quiet in back and soundproof, which helped with tram in front. Secure parking garage nearby included. Staff very helpful. Temporary park in front, or if arrive late and leave early could park at front for free. Beware tram passes right at curb! Close to city center 1 km.
7.5 Good
Pros: the smell when we walked in reception was nice with fragrance candles
Cons: the parking was horrendous we came back late one night and drove round for a good hr looking for somewhere to park not acceptable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Short walk from place Stanislas, very clean rooms, secure parking available at cheap fee. Staff very friendly and a good breakfast as well and 12 o’clock checkout was nice as well. Would stay here again.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: everything was worth the money and more.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room and comfortable with the air conditioning
Cons: Hadn't known that the parking was several streets away which was a little inconvenient in motorcycle gear during a heatwave. But the parking was secure.
7.0 Good
Cons: Parking was at extra costs and 250 yards away. Although it was secure, but hotels need to state this.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Cheap and with good AC. Bathroom was just renovated and very clean.
Cons: Far from center in an unsafe neighborhood. Pictures do not reflect what it is. Bed is not comfy at all.

4.3 Okay
Pros: Rooms are small but tidy. Overall sense of clean. Good cappuccino at breakfast. The automatic machine is great quality. Dinner is no problem, in hotel is decent quality and convenient or 3-4 restaurants nearby. Roller shutters keep light out in the morning, for extra sleep. Wireless phone charger (once you understand it is not a table lamp...) Kettle with tea set, no complimentary water bottle, but tap water seems good enough.
Cons: Hotel is engaged in a campaign against Booking.com (they even give open letter to guests). We travel for business and booked 3 days hoping to finish in 2. On arrival we were told no problem just let us know. In the afternoon we announced leaving the next day but manager decided to refuse cancelation "because order is with Booking.com". We immediately mailed Booking+Hotel but at check-out we where charged 3 days instead of 2 actually slept. This never happened before in other chains which very rarely may just add a little penalty. Clearly Hotel recovers for the money they loose with Booking, charging customers who are from Booking and therefore will probably not return there. Room insulation lets you hear neighbours speaking. Running water noise from air conditioning unit, night and day. Shower is in a bath hub, difficult access for elders. Complimentary shower gel was not refilled. Suction fan in bath not working so foggy mirror. No power sockets at the bedside drawers.
9.5 Excellent

8.5 Excellent (76 reviews)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic stylish place with very nice people.
Cons: If a property is called a B&B I would assume that breakfast was included or at least it made clear during booking that it is not.

Cons: it was difficult to find

9.3 Excellent
Pros: A quiet location in a beautiful environment (in green park landscape). Breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The bed was a bit low and could have been more comfortable. But still acceptable though.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The setting is a very large, peaceful park and forest, up a long hill. The host speaks good English and is really into music: great music in restaurant and numerous musical artifacts. There are other nice objets d'art. Each room has a theme: mine was the Paris room. It included a sauna!
Cons: I didn't like cycling up the hill with loaded panniers after a long day. And it is a big trip to any dinner alternative to the attached restaurant (which WAS very good).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We ate like kings, slept like dormice and felt so free and welcome it was as if we owned the place. This was due to; - The outside space, tranquillity, fresh air. The closeness to the town and it's sites and activities. The family friendliness of the staff. Great walks just a walk away from the hotel with lovely views. Food was delicious and home cooked.
Cons: It wasn't perfectly pristine but then that was a part of its charm. The door to the garden didn't lock from the outside. Some of the decor had a little sense of the nouveaux-riche but that's just a question of taste.
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. The room was well-furnished and quiet.
Cons: Although I had requested an evening meal, and check-in showed as 4pm, when we arrived at 4pm (hot and tired on our motorcycles) there was no one around. After a few minutes, a young lady arrived and shouted that there wouldn't be anyone on reception until 5pm. I explained that we were very hot and tired and she then let us in to our room. So far, so ok. Around dinner time we went downstairs to see about dinner. No one around. We wandered around the outside and eventually a man appeared and explained that meals were only available on a weekend. He directed us to a local restaurant about 1/2 a mile away - Le Bistro - La ferme Sainte Genevieve, where we did have an excellent meal. The owner apologised for the confusion in the morning.
7.0 Good
Pros: We stayed in a very characterful room which had a large bathroom located through a walk-in wardrobe, the bathroom having both a bath and a large walk-in shower. Breakfast was very good with croissants, pain au chocolat, french bread and jams, fresh fruit, ham and cheese - very nice. The location of this hotel is up a steep hill and at the edge of what looks like some kind of nature trail.
Cons: The restaurant was not open during week nights therefore you have to travel some distance to find a restaurant open. The bed was a small double bed with a lumpy mattress and washed out bedding - perhaps could do to update this?
