The amount of facility's that was available. The bed was like trying to sleep on a slab of concrete.
not to busy and in a good spot
The staff were excellent This hotel is in dire need of modernisation and, in particular. the bedrooms. £80 per night for this standard of hotel is too much. The website is misleading.
Cosy & excellent value on special promotions. None
friendly, polite, entertainment, clean comfortable rooms
The price The best was extremely hard!
The mattress was a combination of being extremely poor quality & extremely old resulting in uncomfortable nights sleep.
excellent amenities and good food beds not very comfortable
staff most helpful and we were fortunate to have an upgrade of room as a result of our membership . We were at Blackpool for a show, unfortunately Restaurant did not open until 1900hrs too late for us however this is not a complaint under normal circumstances we would not eat so early.
Location. Oasis. Breakfast queues.
Fantastic Staff - brilliant location Only 1 radiator worked in the suite - cold at times. Only 1 window capable of opening - rest were screwed shut!!!
The hotel is very stuffy and mostly for eldery people. the lounge and the bar where very quiet and did not have a relaxed atmosphere
the hotel was very nice and the staff were very freindly and helpful, there prices were reasonable, but for families it could run out a bit expensive. as for my wife and i it was okay and we would definatlet go back
the package i booked was fab value for money and we were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge
everything the weather
Been staying at your hotel for the past five years in november and we have always had a pleasent stay, nice and relaxing atmosphere friendly staff and good food..
nothing the food was late and cold
A lovely hotel, we had a really nice stay.
Check iN was efficient One of the two rooms I booked was in an abysmal position. Having to pay for two nights when I only wanted one was also annoying. Breakfast was way too expensive as was the bar prices
The hotel is in a good location with all the top class amenities you'd expect of a venue of this standard. All the staff were very helpful and extremely pleasant. Restaurant staff especially made you feel relaxed and were a good laugh. Have been before and will definitely return.
the size of the rooms, the staff in the bar very customer focused. the hot ice package very good value for money and excellent breakfast menu. dvd didn't work very well, and there was dust under the tv, when checking package wasn't explained it was only on asking did we find out what was included.
Close to the pleasure beach. Home from home. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely. Having to go home.
We got what we expected
it was a very clean and staff were so helpful, room was amazing, had a great stay and will be returning.
Big room, friendly service and ease of access to Blackpool Promenade The Breakfast Buffet seemed disorganised as we had to wait nearly half an hour to get a table. When we got to our table, there were many tables not filled around us. They don't seem to be able to have enough staff/tables to accomodate all guests in a full hotel.
The location of the hotel and the parking facilities. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
Overall a very nice hotel, the breakfasts were amazing! The rooms were pretty basic, bedside lights did not work, no batteries in tv/dvd remotes, bathroom linen could have been better (no flannels or bath robes) Very noisey during the night!
Welcoming, friendly reception staff. Spacious comfortable room with air conditioning, big bed and beautiful bathroom. Excellent breakfast.
everyone was so freindly and helpful the food was fantastic very clean very modern great choice of wines the rooms were of a very good stanard could not fault the hotel in any way
the staff is very helpful and polite ..... hotel is clean and new...... room is also clean, relaxing and new with a amazing sea view from the balcony. everything was just perfect.....thanks you guys from Number One South Beach!!! i will definitly be back and recommend my friends to stay at ur hotel!! nope .........
we both loved this hotel could not fault it excellent best hotel have ever been to
Probably the best hotel in Blackpool. The standard of the rooms, facilities and staff were the highest quality. It was obvious that the proprietor and his staff took pride in taking care of guests and providing an excellent service on a personal level to everyone. The rooms had the latest modern equipment in the bedroom and bathroom and the food in the restaurant was very good. I will defintely come back here the next time we're in Blackpool.
The room was comfortable and clean. Overpriced for what it offered and it's location.
Excellent hotel staff very friendly room 4 excellent room would stay again & recommend to anyone
The bar staff were really nice The matress was a disgrace you could feel the springs through also we were wakened with banging at 7.45 from workmen in another room
Would have liked sky tv in the room.
Leaving Value for money
It was nice and homely.
Location was brilliant. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful. Be prepared to queue for breakfast in the morning.
we order a breakfast in room, and it wasnt nice at all, i had a upset stomach after eating it...
at the arival to the hotel the hotel had a different rate then it was originaly stated in my booking after sorting it out with hotel manager the rate was corrected but was at great inconvenience.
The hotel was very clean, the choice of food was good The hotel could do with 2 more lifts, there were a lot of disabled guests staying and the lifts are only large enough for 1 chair, creating a long wait for the others travelling in that party.
It ticked all the boxes Paying to park, the room rates are high enough to cover this
Proximity to transport facilities
A beautifully, modern decorated hotel with quality furnture and fittings which is extremely clean and well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful in advising a restaurant to eat in. The breakfast menu was superb. Situated just off the main promenade between central and south piers. A must for couples wanting something a little bit more upmarket whilst in Blackpool.
Can't say enough about the helpfullness and quality of the staff. First rate. The "Nineteen" restaurant was very good and value for money. Bedroom was smaller than anticipated. Brasserie did not represent value for money due to limited (and slightly pretentious) menu.
I thought the drinks were very expensive, £11 for 3 drinks in the bar. I also didn't like th efact that you can hear everything outside your room when ignorant people are walking past in the evening. Can I suggest that you have staff on each corridor at night making people aware that they need to keep the noise down as people are trying to sleep.
Facilities were good as was the breakfast. Rooms were tired looking and the equipment was dated. Guests allowed to smoke throughout corridors despite no smoking signage. Noise from function rooms below bedrooms can be heard into early hours of morning and then noise from guests who attended function as they come back to thier room.
pool and room itself was OK Room 117 has terrible view and rooms seems dark-would not come back to that floor again. No staff in gym to ask about equipment.
everything was lovely - very satisfied
An excellent hotel, great location, friendly staff
the hotel location, pool, and staff + a very good breakfast with lots of choice rooms are a bit dated but still nice
location and surroundings room view and lack of air conditioning
The room was comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly
room small, facilaties not all that
comfort of the hotel and hotel staff the bath cleasing products
Friendly and courteous staff
Modern Room, Good Breakfast, friendly staff
Nice and polite hotel staff
room ok good idea on trust bar but didnt use it nice staff noisey patio doors very warm and poor sound insulation from room above
Friendly staff and excellent breakfast buffet 7:30am is too late for breakfast to start on a weekday.
modern claen hotel
The standard of the hotel and rooms were excellent.
The friendlinesss & professionalism of the staff, excellent service, excellent beakfast. The towels were extremely small
The room we were allocated , was very noisy and getting to sleep was lamost impossible.
nice decor and good location with excellent breakfast. small room but well equipped and quiet.
As a smoker, my room had a balcony so it was easy to go out and smoke there rather than go down stairs and outside.
It's an excellent dog friendly place to stay.
Staff were very helpful, breakfast was fantastic and all for a very reasonable price!
the breakfast nothing
Staff friendly & courteous, rooms superbly decorated and equiped, all hotel as a feeling of style and comfort, breakfast excellent, would fully recommend to others.
Everything, great location, nice room, staff were brilliant and helpful, food was very nice, especially the curry on arrival! Will not hesitate to return!
surrondings food could have been better,eg breakfast undercooked
Quality service.Friendly.Spotlessly clean.Excellent room, and breakfast.Close to the town centre, and station.
Excellent customer service, comfortable bed, nice duvet, very peaceful room, good double glazing, lovely soft furnishings Water pressure of shower not too hot, toilet would be awkward for someone with longer legs
Friendly Staff, good location nothing bad to report
The hotel was out the way of the hurley burley noise of shopping/nightlife so after our evening out we were guaranteed a good night sleep. The Bed was really comfy and I think l had the best night sleep in ages. Shower was hot and makes a change as in some hotels you only get luke warm. Breakfast was more than enough as I was full up until mid afternoon. Well worth the money in my eyes. It is a taxi ride from the train station though but thats not important as there is trams, taxis etc to take you back up towards centre and taxi we booked was here within 2 mins. Everything was fine
Its very good prices and its perfect location to Pleasure Beach Resort
Very friendly, good location and nice breakfast choice Breakfast from 9.00 to 9.30 is a bit late for a family stay as up much earlier and had to hang around.
i didnt like the idea of the lounge area of the hotel being booked privatley so i was unable to use that part of the hotel the bar area in the dining side was not really adequate for relaxing with a drink
Room was comfortable, clean and had a good shower. Plenty of space to do paperwork. Staff were very pleasant and room service was excellent. Location was important to me as I need to be close to my very elderly Mum who lives 10 mins walk away. I have stayed here before and would do so again. Breakfast tea/coffeee was served in vacuum jugs at the counter but this may have been due to a large coach party being served at the same time.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Gave good advice and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return in the future. Thanks v much :) I was woken by noise (prob from kitchen) at approx. 6.30am.
Modern and comfortable bedroom. Well presented dinner and excellent breakfasts Staff seemed a bit "fed up"!
Clean rooms, very modern. Breakfast was a buffet where you can eat as much as you like! Nice dining room, nice cutlery. Travel cots were free on request as long as you booked them in advance. Decent location with seaview. Hotel was easy to get to from the motorway & directions we were given were good. Shower was so small. Corridors/lifts very small. Baring in mind we had taken our 5 month old baby, we struggled getting to & out of our room. As the weather was cold, we stayed in but there wasn't much choice in terms of tv channels. We couldn't have one or two lights on at the same time in the hotel room - if we wanted one light on we had to turn them all on.
the room was very clean and they cleaned the room every day and that was plus point off my stay. the food was not good at all and some of the check in staff was not very helpfull
it was well furbished, reception were helpful and informative, food very good, staff pleasant and cheery my single room was a bit small
the staff were great did not recieve a sea view
All of the staff were really polite and friendly, we look forward to our next visit. Nothing at all.
Friendly proprieters who were helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Made our stay even better, would definately recommend to others and would stay again if we visit Blackpool. Nothing it was lovely.
The Old Coach House is a fantastic retreat in Blackpool, very handy for all the amenties but feels like a luxury retreat. The room was beautiful & spotlessly clean and felt very much like a luxury hotel. None
Our room was beautiful and in a perfect location on a quiet street but a minutes walk from the beach. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. None
Well appointed and well decorated comfortable rooms in a beautiful old building. Very friendly helpful owners.Good food. Hen amd stag parties not allowed, thanks goodness
The old coach house is as stunning inside as it is outside, room was lovely. The place is spoitless. Very warm and friendly could not of asked for more. Would not stay anywhere else.. There was no bad points..
fantastic place to stay, quiet, clean comfortable and fantastic hosts.
A very warm welcome, with thoughtful service and friendly hosts. In need of some updating.
Very friendly. Hospitable. Good food. Good location. Helpful owner. Very clean faciliites. Car parking. Good location for town centre.
Everything Nothing worth of note
It was an oasis of comfort and peace, just a stroll from the frenetic attractions of Blackpool. The owners were delightful and have a superb hotel. Nothing, What's to dislike?
