location, cleanliness of rooms and facilities. Nice food. Problem with water took a while to fix.
fantastic relaxing place... wonderful staff...
Breakfast. View. Unfortunately it was raining and a constant 'drip, drip, drip' kept me awake until I opened the window and placed a towel under the drip at 2 O'clock in the morning.
Excellent location for a weekend break - and very good value for money. New modern room with luxurious spa facilities included.
Location, convenience to where we wanted to be, friendly and helpful staff. Spectacular view from the restaurant. Bed was a bit small and some extra bedding would have been nice. My wife found the restaurant too cold - but we were there on a Sunday night, late November with snow on the ground and only 1 other couple in there.
Location was excellant, staff were friendly, food in the evening was excellant, water pressure for bath/shower was really good, bed was very comfortable Needed more staff in the bars on the Wednesday night - it was so busy that service was slow. Breakfast food suffered from being put out in a buffet: fried eggs were hard and bacon was a bit chewy. Toast was not cooked enough.
The location is spectacular and the spa was really relaxing. I have stayed there before and by returning its obvious that I like it.
Excellent facilities, fantastic staff, outstanding location - one of the best hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in for a long time!
Excellent Cliff top location, views and cliff walks
The friendly staff. The beautiful view.
Excellent decor, well appointed room, superb shower, overall position of hotel ideal We would have liked more bread or pastry items available at breakfast - everything else excellent
Good parking - close to town centre. Have reccomended to family
We did not like having to go to the next door guesthouse which was only 2*(and it was evident) for breakfast. This was strange. Would recommend with this reservation.
Quality Fittings- handy for town- Handy for anything in the Pembrkeshire / Ceridigion area- Couldnt fault any of it N/A
warm welcome, comfortable well presented rooms
Located in the middle of town. Room small but adequate. The breakfast was fine. We had an attic room and had a bit of trouble getting our luggage up there, no help was offered.
Everyone was really friendly and helpful, and our room was beautifully decorated. My only comment would be that the toilet seat didn't really fit - not a huge problem, but caution needed !!!!
Excellent service I left my flash pen in my room and the staff had contacted me before I even got chance to ring to see if it was there and post back to me free of charge
very clean warm & comfortable rooms, nice location very convenient for visiting the coast. Breakfast very good but the cold conservatory rather spoiled it.
Clean and comfortable. Wonderful bathroom. Street noise from main road; limited parking with narrow access; small room.
It is very handy to find when you come off the ferry tired, and your car is very safe. It has tea making in your room.
The close proximity to the ferry being accused by email of burning the duvet and being charged without consultation for said duvet! phoned hotel and proved categorically that it was not my doing. Subsequently received an apology and an offer or 10% discount (£4.80) on my next stay which is unlikely.
The rooms were well-appointed with comfortable beds. Breakfast was good. The price and online details led us to expect a fully-serviced hotel. In fact it was a small B&B. The bar and restaurant were not open (apparently between end September and March).
Good location and parking area.Excellent restaurant and food. Waitress very pleasant and helpful. Good Room Only the proprietors were not to be seen and the Customer relations was done thru the waitress
Clean, good food and friendly.
Every aspect of our stay was 1st class. I have nothing negative to say.
Freindly proprietor, excellent food, very handy for the ferry.
Close to Harbour and excellent restaurant
The Ferryboat were unaware that I was arriving and the restaurant was closed due to illness.
Food was superb even sent compliments the chef!! Staff very friendly. Everything very clean throughout. Recently toured Wales and this was by far the best place we stayed at, Nothing to complain about at all.
Good restaurant choices, well presented and enjoyable Top floor rooms are very difficult to access for people with mobility problems or even heavy luggage - steep steps, insufficient hand rails, doors opening directly onto stairs.
The hotel building is an old castle and sure it looks stunning from outside. Very small, cold and dark rooms. Bed was very unconfortable.
The friendliness of the staff and their help in suggesting places to visit; the cuisine at dinner; the grounds and riverside location. Allowing a dog (not a guide dog) into the dining room during meals. I haven't stayed in a hotel for some years and perhaps this is now standard practice. The dog was quiet and unobtrusive, but as I am not an 'animal person' I was surprised. I didn't complain, and this is not a complaint now.
The staff were great nothing was too much trouble, great food and plenty of it. The surroudings were excellence.
the ambiance of the period house and its surrounding environment; gardens etc. It was the perfect stop over after along drive from St. Ives Cornwall before sailing back to Ireland
Most delicious meals and the lounge/bar area was very cosy There was a musty smell in the hallway outside our room, as though they had had recent water damage?
The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked the hotel last minute and were very plesently suprised when we arrived - a really lovely country manor. We booked a family room (2 aduits and 2 children under 6) and the room was huge. The hoetel is quite old and while our room was very clean the hotel could do with some upgrading of it's facilities. but this is a small thing relative to the overall charm of the place.
The setting of the hotel is beautiful. The hotel itself is elegant and airy, the staff very friendly. The food was excellent and the hotel is ideally placed for several different walks.
Excellent food, reasonable rates, superb setting and friendly staff
the location was very nice, nice room and overall quiet and pleasant. this is a very small and picky complaint, but the rooms were noisy with loose floorboards and wobbly cupboards.
Good-sized comfortable well-equipped room, wonderful view, nice helpful staff. Good breakfast. Teamaking facilities with plenty of tea, coffee etc and biscuits. None, although one of the the ceiling lights wasn't working and it would have been better if the windows had been cleaned.
Excellant location, great views, large room.
Relaxing ambience, friendly and efficient staff, comfortable accomodation, scrupulously clean, lovely dining room with an excellent menu beautifully cooked and served. Jaw dropping views from the Dining Room and all the bedrooms. NOTHING
superb accommodation, superb views, great location
Exellent value for money. Staff very friendly. Superb location with seaview.
It is very modern and spacious. The view from most room is phenomenal. Excellent value for money. Nothing, it is perfect.
Excelent Views, Good food and Service
The facilities and room overlooking the golf course and sea is special. The location and the quality of the room
Food, views and staff
We found the position of the Hotel very good for beachs, towns and history
Friendly personnel; excellent views from room; very tastefully decorated guest areas; good food with generous helpings. Convenient for Pembrokeshire coast walks.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and owner. Position is very peaceful.
the peace and quiet and the sound of the bird calls from the estuary and the little boats bobbing about
It is a quiet country hotel where we were made very welcome. The proprietor is very helpful. Nothing.
The location is perfect for a quiet break away from the everyday rush of a normal working day. There is a wonderful beach very close to the hotel, not more than 5 minnutes walk, which is very safe for children, alos none of the areas is overcrowded. Wonderful secluded beaches also very close to hand.
Location, friendly helpful staff, comfy bed
The view is amazing, the staff are helpful and the room was large and well furnished.
The staff were very helpful . The view from the hotel was lovely as you were right on the bay.
Staff attitude, Food was very good, Surroundings
size of room Limited menu
Heating not on in Bedroom
Beautifully converted farm buildings providing comfortable self catering accommodation with hotel facilities available. No complaints!
Great location - very friendly staff - good food! Very comfortable room!
Idyllic situation, pleasant staff uncomfortable bed
Friendly staff. Good food. Very nice room. Nice location. None
Location, accommodation generally, cozy bar, friendly staff Noisy fridge(!), tempramental toilet flush
Service was excellent
Very friendly staff, good self-catering facilities and good restaurant and bar. The toilet didn't flush properly and the heating did not work very well.
The friendliness of the staff and just everything about it - excellent The fact that we could only stay for two days
All of the staff were friendly and were willing to help out whatever the query
Dinner and Breakfast in restaurant damp smell on landing
Friendly Service although sometimes erratic
Newly refurbished to a high standard; very comfortable. Very convenient for my business trip & I imagine a good base from which to explore the west Wales area. Staff at breakfast seemed a bit chaotic & still getting used to layout. My toast never arrived, but food was good.
Very well appointed room. Clean and comfortable. Reception staff could have made you feel more welcome. We were passed to 3 different people before we could check in. The receptionist offered to show us to our room but only walked us across the car par and said "it's up there!"
Hotel itself needs decorating, it looks like it is falling to pieces. Otherwise it was clean, and friendly. Our room was like walking into an icebox, but when asked heating was turned on straightaway, hot water in the bathroom was slow at first. There was nothing to dislike, it was clean and friendly.
The hotel was clean and staff pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, but it was a little noisy as the room was overlooking the main street.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was nice and near to the town The only thing I would like to say is the window was opposite the bathroom door, and overlooked the carpark, so I think a blind or net curtain would have been a good idea, instead of having to pull the main curtains all the time
The warmth of staff and the location of the hotel No
Staff excellent, good breakfast, some rooms dated and untidy Restaurant prices
Comfortable and very friendly staff that make you feel welcome, good food which came to the table hot!
Food good although only ate there on one night. Not much choice on the menu so went to the pub down the road. But why were we booked into a ' superior ' room when it seemed quite ordinary ? Was it the 3 cushions on the bed that qualified it for this ? We paid the extra charge for a superior room. The paintwork was quite shabby and let it down. Just didn't feel as though we got value for money.
Superior rooms should at least have somewhere to hang clothes other than hooks on the door. There is no excuse for a broken wooden toilet seat.
The staff were friendly and helpful, very welcoming.
wonderful staff well looked after from start to finish good food generous portions would stay again
Warm welcome, a nicely appointed room and excellent breakfast.
The room were lovely, the food and wedding reception None
