I had to change rooms twice when we arrived because they had given me a room with one bed and I asked for two beds. The second room was being cleaned when we approached it.
Zocalo, museums, music, otdoor cafee
Fantastic location for getting around on foot. Within a few blocks there are plenty of sights and foods to experience. Friendly and helpful staff who didn't seem to mind my Spanglish. Facilities were well kept and quite spacious. It's definitely a modern hotel for a city with such history and colonial aesthetic.
very well located, clean... no free parking, no free wireless, brekfast poor
Very helpful staff and excellent location; modern and clean wit good size bedrooms/bathrooms, comfortable beds and free wifi. Good buffet breakfast and restaurant with plenty of choice. Noise coming from close bedrooms, better soundproffing needed, but a great hotel.
super quiet and very well organized, with staff speaking English as well as German, a comfort to foreign visitors no
Very stylish hotel, inside and out - including our room. Great facilities and excellent staff - friendly, yet professional and efficient.
staff quick and eager to help. no free water or coffee in room.
Comfortable hotel with a very friendly staff. Excellent location and great price. Every morning the staff would knock on the door waking me up to see if I needed anything. I could hear them knock on every door nearby...it was annoying as I like to sleep in sometimes.
The location was good, the rooms were clean and quiet and very comfortable Food was overpriced
The location of the hotel. The service was very poor. Many mistakes, too many for 2 nights stay.
Good location, clean rooms Gave me a different price
Great staff, good location by car Facilities a bit run down
Good Location outside the city center. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Short taxi ride to historic city center.
Good location and modern. Rooms are very clean. Great kings size beds. Wifi was very choppy. The breakfast wasn't great and the buffet wasn't good. The rooms are tiny. You can't bend over in the shower without opening the shower door. The counter top space in the bathroom isn't enough.
The hotel is new and clean. If you like shopping the hotel is beside a large mall. What i truly appreciated was the staff, so understanding and welcoming.
I stayed at the Marriott Puebla for a business trip. The Marriott Puebla has traditional Mexican warmth with an unexpected world class luxury. It is conveniently located from the corporate office that I work for. The check-in was smooth and the young front desk clerk (wish I could remember her name) was most pleasant and helpful. She asked if I needed dinner arrangements and offered to assist with reservations or suggestions. Somehow she discovered that I was visiting my corporate office and since she knew that it was my first stay at the hotel, she offered clear directions to get there. When I was walking to my room, initially took me a few moments to realize the enormous garden areas available. It made feel peace of mind. The room was much nicer and larger than I had anticipated. The room along with a well-appointed bathroom and terrific shower makes you feel really comfortable. There was enough room to move around (even for 3 people). I love Marriott’s bed, it was extremely comfortable, additional the seating area and ample work desk helped me to work after meetings. A quick call to guest services and I received immediately information for everything: room service, dining, etc; you have everything you need only by pressing one button. I did eat at the hotel's restaurant (I think it is called Factory), it is a brand new restaurant with exquisite options available, I tried a beef option and was delicious. The service was delivered promptly and with professionalism. Since my agenda was extended I left the hotel on sunday morning. I noted that this hotel isn’t for business travelers only; it is also for leisure travelers. It has ample garden areas and 2 outdoor pools to relax. I enjoyed the gardens and the heated pool during saturday afternoon. All of the staff I encountered were really friendly and helpful. Definitely I would not hesitate to stay at the Marriott Puebla for my next visit.
Staff was excellent hotel was clean and comfortable would definitely go back Nothing
Great place and good food in the 2 restaurants they have with good prices. Thank you
Very nice hotel.. would stay there again none
Very well serviced.
When I did checked in they gave me a room who had not been cleaned. They apologized & changed me to a clean room. Mistakes do happen but the first impression was obviously not the best.
Friendly staff, great facilities and excellent location.
The hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly as well. The hotel it is near to a restaurants area (no walking distance but near) so we did not have problems to access different attractions and places to eat. The service at ¨Los Angeles¨ restaurant was very average or below. Le pool it is nice and the water warm but it is not light at night so even when pool close at 10pm it is hard to see. (My kids enjoyed even without light).
This hotel is very clean and offers updated equipment (ipod station/flat screen TV/room safe). Bed was BIG and very comfortable. We initially had a difficult time getting to the hotel, but I was able to navigate there with my garmin nuvi-mexico maps. The hotel is located on a main street (Blvd Hermanos Serdan)and cannot be missed once you arrive. We initially booked a double occupant room but we spoke to reception and we were able to update to a single room with a great view of the main street without any additional cost. The hotel staff is great.
I have stayed at this hotel about 10 days total through the last year. Clean, nice staff, great restaurant, good location to other services. BUT Internet is only wireless any you have to pay $10 per 24 hour period. If secure Internet and or RELIABLE service is critical to your stay, proceed with caution... we had some problems staying connected.
I was on business trip and I liked the hotel and its location near malls. Good food and price but the pool is outside. excellent view to the city
This hotel is beautiful and comfortable. I was there for only one day after a work trip on my way back home and it provided me comfort and cleanless.
Great quiet hotel away from the main blvd. Close to downtown(ie. the zocalo) and easy access. Rooms were spotless, the staff accomodating. The breakfast was pricey for the area but excellent. Air conditioning was not working so we had to change rooms in the middle of the night.
nice hotel staff was mediocre... front desk attention was poor
Nice hotel and staff, breakfast buffet was outstanding. The on site spa isn't really a spa. The massage I received was pretty amateurish, and the pedicure laughable. Several times I had to call to get towels for my room, and the maids didn't always replenish soaps ad's such. They also had some power issues and there were periods without ac or lights in some areas. Staff, however, were great, accommodating, and service was fest in restaurant, bar, check in and porters. See above.
