Pros: Mary is a superb host and it is so lovely to stay in the family cottage, with so much history. The cottage is beautiful and beats hands down most of the other cottages we have stayed in, including NT. The room was beautifully decorated with so many lovely homely touches... particularly the curtains and breakfast was delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a B&B.

Cons: No lift. Stairs were difficult for my friend and I who are older but staff carried the luggage up and down, so that was great. No cleaning service for a two day stay. No one cleaned up the coffee cups and coffee station wasn't resupplied with creamer or sugar. There was a hairdryer but no electrical outlet in the bathroom. None. There was only one chair so another chair would be nice so your traveling partner didn't have to sit on the bed. A few hooks in the bathroom would be nice for clothes or your robe.

Cons: 1. Was charged twice for my room and had to request funds to be returned 2. Was told restaurant was booked out when it clearly wasn't. Though helpful barman got us into the restaurant upon query 3. Partner ordered a salad with walnuts and beetroot though these ingredients were not included in the dish that was delivered to our table 4. Ordered a steak for dinner which was €26. Restaurant staff claimed that this did not come with a side salad though backed down when we queriedand gave us a side order included with the price of €26. 5. Room Door card keys kept breaking and we had to visit reception to get reactivated 6. Bed was uncomfortable 7. Restaurant staff seemed oblivious to us and preoccupied with coping with a large party at another table. Took an age to clear our table for the proceeding course. 8. Receptionist didnt provide us with WiFi upon check in
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Access for the elderly was a massive plus
Cons: Loved it all, the breakfast was very tasty the evening meal was fantastic the staff were very friendly and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I appreciated the long drive down the winding roads to get to the adorable town of Culdaff. We spent our anniversary at this hotel. The food was awesome (I had the best chicken I have ever had) and our room was perfect. We took a nice walk down to the beach, which is about a 1.5-2 KM walk from the hotel. It was well worth it. The area around the hotel was beautiful and very quiet (not a lot of partying going on around these parts). It was a restful stay. If you are a Star Wars fan, check out the pictures in the restaurant. They held a wrap party at this location and it was really cool to see these pictures.
Cons: At first, we thought the food was taking way too long in the hotel restaurant. However, once we actually ate our food, we realized it was so worth the wait!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Best porridge this year. Bed very comfortable.
Cons: Choice of breakfast bread limited.
6.7 Good
Pros: Food was fantastic, best breakfasts ever.
Cons: Bed was not that comfortable. Room was very small. No chairs to sit although this was due to size of room.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location to what we wanted to see.
Cons: The room wasn't even big enough for our suitcases.
The Seaview Tavern - Urbalreagh - Building

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were in Rm 2 with a beautiful view of the sea. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a nice ensuite and very quiet. The breakfast was excellent with a nice selection of cooked meals. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: It was all good.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location for Malin Head. The food served (dinner and breakfast) was very good and the staff pleasant and helpful. Great sea views.
Cons: Basically this is a pub with rooms and the rooms are the junior partner. Whilst the room was acceptable, the linen was clean and there's a great view from the window, the bathroom is in need of attention and the fabric of the room could do with a good clean. Rooms are situated over the pub and it is quite noisy until late (2am was when the last party left) but if you want to join in with the locals and experience the craic, then this may be ideal, we needed an early start!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular location, close to Malin Head, one of the most wonderful places in Donegal. This B&B is not a fancy one, as the house perfectly reflects the character of the Irish countryside, but this is exactly why we liked it. Charles made our stay very pleasant: he is a wonderful host and a great cook; the breakfast facing the ocean was a plus!
Cons: Nothing wrong.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Laid back & easy going .. very personal
5.8 Okay
Pros: The owner was very nice and welcoming. It was a quaint cottage and the view was nice.
Cons: The room was very, very basic, bed and floor lamp only nothing else at all. The wifi worked at first but then stopped. It was an older house and the room could use some freshening up some. The bathroom was in the same condition. We were very disappointed after seeing the ratings.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: You can't get accommodation much farther north on the Irish mainland and the view across the bay from the cottage as lovely. This is a traditional cottage that likely was thatched at some point in the past. Charles was the consummate host and made sure we were looked after and provided us with a lovely breakfast.
Cons: The weather..but only for a day..
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The cottage has lots of character and it has a very cosy warm feel to it. The owner is a lovely charming man who is the perfect host and he cooks a delicious breakfast which is served in a romantic setting with an amazing view.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The setting and the authenticity of the house. So wonderfully charming! We had a wonderful time and wish we could have stayed longer.
Cons: We struggled to find the location. I would strongly recommend contacting the owner rather than following the directions on booking.com because they point someplace else.
