Beautiful location.Very pretty hotel.Good breakfast.
We have come to the Grand Vaux region for may years and treated ourselfs to a stay in the Auberge, unfortunately is was rather disappointing, the feeling we got of the place is that they cut corners. The showerstall was covered with mold in the corners, really gross.Lighting is bad, in rooms, no extra pillows. The restaurant is very expensive and not all that great for the price. We will not return.
The stafff was poilite and courteous. The checkin was fast and lean. The overall hotel ambience is clean and quite elegant. The breakfast was sweet and simple. Overall a good value for money if we go by the standard room fare.
The TV in the room did not work properly even after asking to get thie repaired...
cully is a charming, quiet town on the lake with several nice restaurants and a beautiful promenade. the hotel is clean, charming and the staff very attentive. the hotel restaurant is excellent as well.
it was 30c and very hot, no air conditioning and the room was very hot. we had the windows open all night but still were broiling.
The hotel was lovely and so close to the lake. The town itself is so beautiful. The waitstaff was kind and helpful. Even when were a little late for breakfast to sit outside, the waiter allowed us and made the experience wonderful.
Quaint, by American standards located in a lovely setting adjacent to Lake Lemond in the center of the South facing hillside covered in vinyards.
In the summertime in high heat and humidity rooms without good cross ventilation can be oppressive. Keeping the windows open helps but without screens that is not an option. We finally shut the windows and requested a fan which was delivered.
All was great
No air conditioning in the room; in August it was very hot during the night.
Located next to Lausanne it boasts "antique"-like classic design of the room and public areas. We liked friendly staff, breakfast, room itself. Parking nearby is limited, we were lucky to get a place.
The hotel is really nice and cosy. Its completely different to chain hotels. The room was very spacious and bathroom was quite big.
Breakfast was nice although only jam was served. Cheese or some other food should also be available.
the quietness, comfort of the room. Location is really good, only one block from the lakeside.
