Getting out to explore on foot or car will get you up close with nature and offer scenic journeys that will give you lasting memories of your break in this lovely corner of Scotland. The hotel is a traditional hostelry with great food, acclaimed breakfasts, ever changing seasonal menus and the chance of al fresco dining overlooking the water when the long summer days are here. Remember days are long in the summer in this part of the world. We welcome children and dogs. Both can stay in your room! just remember our room sizes are in keeping with a building of the age ours is and you may be cosy but the opportunities for getting out and about, coupled with splendid food on your return will soon assuage any reservations you may have. Whether you are a couple, or a family, walkers, historians, or looking for family fun there s lots to do if you can bear to leave the tranquillity and magic of Kippford that is. In the village a series of events are held throughout the year, from the annual Art Exhibition, to the local dog show. There is likely to be something on whenever you choose to visit.
