Pros: Breakfast was very good and tasty. Room was large and comfortable. Host was very helpful and engaging. Parking was convenient. Fantastic location.
Cons: Shower water flow very poor. Winter duvet supplied was inappropriate for summer. External steps to house not illuminated so difficult to navigate in dark.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous views from the very spacious and well-appointed rooms, and excellent well cooked breakfast. We were lucky enough to see red squirrels feeding just outside the breakfast room! We were celebrating my parents' 60th wedding anniversary and had the first floor to ourselves so it was very private. Friendly hosts. A most enjoyable experience.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location and outlook were excellent: really enjoyed the views out over the estuary. The accommodation was spacious and the bed very comfortable.
Cons: The property is dated and needs to be upgraded. In particular the bathroom should be stripped and remodelled. The breakfast was fine, but if being sold as upmarket, there should be an emphasis on local produce and quality, e.g., locally produced yoghurt and good quality bread. The place is also very difficult to locate on a narrow road.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and informative but not in your face. The breakfast was delicious. The location was superb.slightly better signage
Cons: Slightly better signage.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Owners friendly and welcoming, stunning location
6.7 Good
Cons: Could have had more choice of fruit juice for breakfast. The house could have been better signposted.A Scottish breakfast would have bee nicer, potatoe scones rather than beans and plum tomatoes.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast including the Haggis was excellent, and the bedroom plus its view was fantastic
Cons: The shower was weak and could do with have a stronger water flow
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The total relaxation in the balcony!!!! The views and the waking up in front of this beautiful view. Breakfast was ok a d the host was very nice and welcoming.
Cons: We did have a private bathroom, but in a shared corridor. It wasn't clear from the description of the room. Had we know, we wouldn't have booked it, but since we were already there and felt so good, we managed to overcome this surprising finding. Also the cabin in the room is moving and making low noise with every step. It took a while to get past it.
