Excellent and comfortable
It was very beautiful new hotel. Hotel staff kindly told me many pour questions in English.I could relax so much. It is located in Darmstadt downtown, and near Machilda hill. To the station, It takes 20-25 minutes by walk or it costs about 10 Euro by taxi or about 1 Euro by bus. Good location!
Staff was super nice. We even got a voucher for a welcome drink. Easy quick check-in.
liked the location some of the design features were good no tea/coffee making facilities in room.glass partition between bed and shower. wet bathroom floor when shower is on mollers not open till 9am on a sunday - should be open earlier for snacks and coffee. insufficent lighting
Very friendly and efficient staff. I kind of missed a minibar with some night snacks.
Great mattress, air con saved our lives, quiet at least in the back side very friendly helpful staff Bathroom a little cramped - door blocks toilet, and toilet flush button behind seat. It's a 4 star hotel-shouldn't be this way.
Free drink at check in Price for breakfast much too high
Very friendly and helpfull employees. Nice, clean and modern bedroom. The food is delicious and a faire price.
Centrally located brand-new structure, with spacious and modern rooms, very comfortable mattress and bedding, clean bathrooms. Delicious food and great service at the hotel restaurant.
Front dest spoke english. Breakfast was delicious. If they ran out of eggs, you can ask and they will make more for you.
business, shopping No
This is the second time we have stayed here. No complaints. Efficient and very polite service. Excellent breakfast.
location, standard for price, breakfast
friendliness of staff The entrance looks a bit poor. Once you take the elevator to the Lobby (3rd floor) everything changes.
the location in the center city it's a charmless, somewhat ugly building. The only soap provided is bodywash. We had to buy a bar of soap.
Clean, newly refurbished room with modern decoration, comfortable bed and good bathroom.
Great location. Breakfast excellent. Liked the coffee and tea making facilities in lounge area. Will use this hotel again if we return to Darmstadt.
Good central position Looks grim from the outside - above a car park
central location Double bed was not really double - instead it was twin beds
Friendly staff, central location, clean rooms. No AC. Would not stay here when it is hot.
Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Location very central and convenient to central city, sites, shopping & restaurants, public transportation. not really...it's an older, basic hotel. I wasn't expecting anything fancy or extra services, and that's what I got.
Staff were friendly. The beer was excellent. Shower could use an upgrade.
The hotel is located in a central position. The restaurant is good. The bedrooms are not very large, but they are very nice and the furnitures are not anonymous as the majority of hotels. The staff is kind. There is the wireless connection to internet. There is free water inside the room and also outside. Beds are large. The toilets are quite small, but very clean.
The staff is very nice. The hotel is nice, comfortable and clean. The hotel is located in the city center. The restaurant is very good.
I really appreciate the position: it is IN the city centre and the brakfast was ok. There was no internet connection of the hotel: i had to pay Telekom, to use internet. My last day was sunday and I need to leave my luggage in the hotel to have a look around in the city before my train left at 16, but i could leave it just until 13, because the hotel closed for some hours after 13.
The location of this hotel, exactly in the city centre. Nice old building from the outside. The room was small and extremely hot. No free internet connection. The single room price via booking.com was just acceptable but when I asked for a double room for an extended stay the price was extremely high for the quality of the room.
It was a very central location with overnight public parking for 8euro close by. The beer garden at the back of the hotel was pretty. Water dispenser is provided on each floor. The check-out time is too early at 10am. The rooms are pretty small, (although have everything you need). The door to my room fell off its hinges which was a bit disconcerting, but probably only bad luck! The reception staff seem to have no English at all which was a challenge.
I liked the location in the very center of town. Nice and cozy style building
The character and the traditional atmosphere
the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of my just renovated room
The location is perfect The room didn't have soap or shampoo
Could check in early, had a big room, staff was friendly and distinct seemed to be a bit lonely, quiet, hardly see anyone
The room was very good, recently renovated with a good standard of the interior. The hotel was under reconstruction at the point of our arrival, no staff was available, all doors closed and no one answered on the telephone. Later in the afternoon we got in contact with someone in the staff that did not seem quite competent for the job. However, let´s hope this was a beginning of something that could be developed to an excellent hotel, situated just in the center.
Cleanliness of the room.
Clean; well located for the centre of town. At €155/night, the room was twice as expensive as normal - but three was little choice due to a trade fair in town. Very slow check-out process - we queued for 20 minutes as one guest at a time slowly had an invoice typed out.
The location was astounding, so close to everything. The staff were great and so helpful. Here and in all of the german hotels i`ve staying at have little or no shampoo. It might be a German thing. The breakfast was ok, not to my liking but others seemed to enjoy it!
Small family-owned hotel. Very gently athmospere.
Location. Construction workers started at 6:15 A.M. banging outside hotel window. No breakfast or food machines. Tv Satelite was dis-connected and did not work. Room very hot. Was not told hotel was under construction.
Once we found the hotel (above a shoe shop in a pedestrian area of the city) we enjoyed the nearby town square restaurants We arrived by car and with limited knowledge of German had great difficulty in finding the hotel, one way street systems and where to park (underground complex) - additional charges included parking and a local tax adding 10 euro to the advertised cost
