Our first room stunk so bad we had to be moved. There was something dried all over the mirror and the bed as hanging off the frame. We moved to the next room and it seemed fine until at 7 in the morning the door opened up. The only thing that stopped it from coming all the way open was the safety hasp. We called the manager immediately and he said he would check the security tape to see who it was. We made coffe and the coffee ran all over the counter and all over our toiletries. We went to take a shower and there was no hot water. When we went to check out the manager said he didn't have time to look at the security tape and that he would call us. He never did. The last time we will stay at a Baymont!!
The beds were made, but sheets unwashed - evident from the make-up smears and hairs on the sheets. The shower had hair shavings covering the bottom of the tub. When we requested new sheets they said they had just given away the last set. The owners of this hotel obviously do not care that they are not in compliance with any health codes. I can deal with dated furnishings but the uncleanliness of this place is beyond disgusting. The hallways and elevators smelled horrible and I'm not sure they have had any sort of cleaning in months or possibly years. When this is your only option because all the other hotels are booked, I guess it's better than sleeping in your car.
Proximity to campus was nice, beds were comfortable Very rundown. Fitness room was a joke and breakfast food was stale old or moldy.
