8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely building and very friendly host
Cons: A fridge in the room would be great as would air con although it was nearly 40 degree
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm keeping a sense of history alongside modern facilities. The fact that it is part of a working farm adds to friendly ambiance. The proprietor is excellent.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully and spacious rooms!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice host. Stylish to stay in a castle, although not a fairly tale one that the kids had expected. Perfect place to stay overnight when just stopping by. Breakfast had everything we could ask for except bacon and scrambled eggs.
Cons: A nice area of France although the immediate surroundings was not that exciting.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was just lovely, hosts were very friendly and helpful. The chateau was in a lovely quiet location, surrounded by local farms. Despite not really doing dinner our hosts kindly offered to cook us a simple meal on our first night, very welcome after a long drive!!
Cons: the only thing we would have liked was tea/coffee making in our rooms.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location nice and quiet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very Nice clean and brandnew place. Big rooms, we slept there with our 3 kids, perfect.

Pros: Lovely place , great family room ,good location for restaurants shopping etc , lovely couple running the place very friendly, room was very modern and spacious, will definitely stay again when passing.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The room decor was pleasant. Quiet location.
Cons: The greeting wasn’t very welcoming. The owners were entertaining friends and we felt we were an inconvenience. The main complaint was that we traveled over 500 kilometres only to find there was no where open to get an evening meal. We should have been advised and would not have stayed there. After complaining the wife kindly offered us bread and cheese. We stayed in a number of different locations and this stay had the least appeal and friendly atmosphere. The breakfast lacked imagination.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The farm is very French in style and attitude. The host is great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast. Etienne was a fabulous host, nothing was too much trouble - even our very early breakfast. The mini bar in the room was well stocked and not expensive.
Cons: Book a restaurant before hand if you need to as the village is very quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location and property and the owner was very friendly and welcoming and very helpful. It was a pleasure
Cons: Everything was very good
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Owner very welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast delicious. Good stop over point on journey to Italy. Perfect family accommodation (3 kids 11,9 and 7).
Cons: Air con only in the bedroom, not in lounge where second double bed was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious and clean rooms, safe parking. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner, who was helped by his 8-year old daughter. Etienne went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and even though we were stuck in traffic and arrived late, this was no problem. As our youngest put it: “can’t we stay here a bit longer please??” We would definitely recommend staying here!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay. We were travelling back from Switzerland with a small baby and needed an overnight stop. The suite we booked was a bargain and meant we could put babe down and still stay up - always a bonus when travelling with small children. Kitchenette was well equipped (again - good with a small person) and we managed to grab a take away pizza from the local place which was great. Nice simple French breakfast and plenty of space to park. It was a little away from the motorway but a lovely (if winding) road. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Nothing

9.3 Excellent
Pros: We had a great time at La Petit Flo. The friendly owners gave us a warm welcome and have done everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Always time for a nice chat. Christophe and Claire have given us a lot of information about the area. Metz is a half-hour drive from Flocourt, Nancy 50 minutes and Strasbourg an hour and a half. Because Flocourt is in the countryside, there are no restaurants nearby. The host will prepare a delicious dinner for you at a good price on request. Breakfast is served in the shared kitchen. Many home-made products such as brioche, jam and yogurt. The room is not large, but clean and fully equipped. A wonderful shower and lots of storage space for your belongings. You can also use the common room with kitchen. Our room, Baroque, has a directly access to a nice private terras. We like to come back to stay in the Pod : ) Yvonne and Dirk

Pros: We liked how our host did his absolute best to make us feel welcome. After a long hot day on our motorcycles, he made sure we could relax in the garden enjoying a cool drink. Dinner in the evening was very delicious! The pod was a very cosy place to stay and the airconditioning in the pod made our stay very comfortable.
Cons: Nothing to mention here!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host of Le Petit Flo is a one-of-a-kind man. We had a problem with a tyre and he was so friendly to take us to the nearest cycle shop. The dinner was super good, and the pod was great. Great service, super chill, highly recommended
6.3 Good
Pros: A very friendly and helpful owner. Did put in the fridge a welcome drink (beer) and prepered us a quick snack. Great Breakfast.
Cons: When we arrived there where flies everywhere. The air condition is not located directly in the bedroom, and if someone else is staying the the apartment is difficult to get the desired temperature. The smell from the bathroom when brushing the teeth was from septic tank and you just could not clean your self. The bathroom needs a little touch. Also the outside smell was from septic tank. This needs to be taken care off.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly and very flexible. We arrived late and were hungry and tired. The owner organised an improvised Cole meal for us in no time, and for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was good. Quiet and away from it all.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great for where I was working. The room was great with a balcony. The Bathroom was also of a high quality.
Cons: No coffee or tea making facilities in the room. The WiFi was also not working very well.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We arrived on ascension day. This ment the restaurant was closed. As we were on the motorcycle we did not like to have to gear up again for food. The owner proposed to bring us to the restaurant and also picked us up after dinner. This is really exceeding expectations. The hotel is very new, clean and well equipped. As the hotel location at the edge of town is not really super, I could not give max score there, but this service cannot be topped. I therefore highly recommend this hotel
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is absolutely spotless in the rooms and public areas. Comfortable beds and beautifully quiet area. Lovely bathroom with great shower(s) and a separate lavatory. The restaurant is very good. I asked for the hotel burger and was told that it didn't come in a bread roll. I thought it was odd but decided to have it anyway. The bread is replaced by fried potato patties top and bottom and it's highly recommended to try. Good breakfast choices.
Cons: The air conditioning was inoperative. I think. It was so complicated to get operating I assumed it was broken and gave up as there were no instuctions. The staff were a little cold and there was little atmosphere in the hotel making it feel quite clinical. But, being new, it may develop some character. I hope so.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We booked in for a Monday night on the way home from Austria - and we had the hotel to ourselves! Despite being the only guests, the staff did not show any annoyance at having to prepare food in the evening just for us or provide an early breakfast before we left and were very friendly and helpful. The food was actually some of the best we had on our 2 week Europe road trip - delicious!

We asked for and got an earlry breakfast which was great. The bread was wonderfully fresh, the croissants gorgeous and a range of home made jams. The owner speaks little English but did his best. He speaks german as well as French. My room had a separate private bathroom with a bath which after a longish trip was welcome. Very friendly.

Pros: It was very cosy and clean, a great little place in quiet location. It was a convenient stop going back to the uk from Italy. Very friendly and accommodating owners!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was large, nicely decorated, good sleeping comfort for 4 people (of which 1 child). Open bathroom in room was nice. Cleanliness of bathroom and bed seemed ok. Breakfast was very good and complete. If anything was missing, the lady of the house was happy to answer to our needs.
Cons: Bathroom: tap of lavabo uncomfortable (to use, and also only hot water came out, was weird), very noisy toilet flushing, light not strong enough. Room: seemed rather clean, but dust and spiders in various corners didn't hide in time ... pity.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food in the restaurant was exceptional, the service very good and most of the staff spoke English
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Most of all we loved the restaurant. The food was outstanding in a modern and spacious dining room and being summer time the pre dinner drinks were served in the garden which also provides the restaurant with fresh produce. Breakfast was simple but with lots of home made jams etc which made it very enjoyable without being complicated. Parking is directly opposite the hotel.
Cons: The guest room was very basic and quite small. However it was perfectly clean with a comfortable bed. If the rooms were of the same standard as the restaurant, this hotel would be a winner.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: A quiet location in a beautiful environment (in green park landscape). Breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The bed was a bit low and could have been more comfortable. But still acceptable though.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The setting is a very large, peaceful park and forest, up a long hill. The host speaks good English and is really into music: great music in restaurant and numerous musical artifacts. There are other nice objets d'art. Each room has a theme: mine was the Paris room. It included a sauna!
Cons: I didn't like cycling up the hill with loaded panniers after a long day. And it is a big trip to any dinner alternative to the attached restaurant (which WAS very good).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We ate like kings, slept like dormice and felt so free and welcome it was as if we owned the place. This was due to; - The outside space, tranquillity, fresh air. The closeness to the town and it's sites and activities. The family friendliness of the staff. Great walks just a walk away from the hotel with lovely views. Food was delicious and home cooked.
Cons: It wasn't perfectly pristine but then that was a part of its charm. The door to the garden didn't lock from the outside. Some of the decor had a little sense of the nouveaux-riche but that's just a question of taste.
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. The room was well-furnished and quiet.
Cons: Although I had requested an evening meal, and check-in showed as 4pm, when we arrived at 4pm (hot and tired on our motorcycles) there was no one around. After a few minutes, a young lady arrived and shouted that there wouldn't be anyone on reception until 5pm. I explained that we were very hot and tired and she then let us in to our room. So far, so ok. Around dinner time we went downstairs to see about dinner. No one around. We wandered around the outside and eventually a man appeared and explained that meals were only available on a weekend. He directed us to a local restaurant about 1/2 a mile away - Le Bistro - La ferme Sainte Genevieve, where we did have an excellent meal. The owner apologised for the confusion in the morning.
7.0 Good
Pros: We stayed in a very characterful room which had a large bathroom located through a walk-in wardrobe, the bathroom having both a bath and a large walk-in shower. Breakfast was very good with croissants, pain au chocolat, french bread and jams, fresh fruit, ham and cheese - very nice. The location of this hotel is up a steep hill and at the edge of what looks like some kind of nature trail.
Cons: The restaurant was not open during week nights therefore you have to travel some distance to find a restaurant open. The bed was a small double bed with a lumpy mattress and washed out bedding - perhaps could do to update this?

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly proprietors. Quiet location.
Cons: Beds were slighly softer than we prefer.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Paying with Mastercard. Parking.
Cons: It's not hotel! It's privat home with some rooms. Something like Gasthaus. Crazy owner - he was very mad and aggressiv, that I came 21:30 (on booking check in 15-22). Room and bathroom dirty with very bed smell. No doors to bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was perfect for me as an overnight stay. It is a very peaceful and beautiful rural location but within 10 minutes drive of the nearest town with bars and restaurants. The lady owner is extremely kind and welcoming, and her husband is a good cook who cooked me a delicious meal that evening with excellent wine. I slept very well and had everything I needed. This is a traditional "relais" (not a hotel) and as such it is excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, close to highway. No fuss on arrival shown quickly to our room and left in peace. The lady of the house was a great friendly host. Good French cuisine, good wine and nice country location. Welcomed our dog. Best fromage ever!!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: We booked this B&B on our way to the south of France and for the trip back to the Netherlands. Anne was wonderfull! We had a great, romantic room where we stayed with our baby and 2 year old child. Anne cooked twice a delicious dinner for us. Breakfast was also great. How Anne treated her guests is special. When we are in the neighbourhood, we will definitely come back!
Cons: Nothing, everything was great!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: My family and I were able to stay at this lovely B&B for only a night while we traveled through France, but it was one of the most memorable stays during our European trip! The family was kind and welcoming, breakfast was FANTASTIC (Ana provided us with homemade breads and jams, meat, and cheeses galore). Our room was a converted stable that was all at once quaint and comfortable! The surrounding town was very small, but our hosts pointed us in the direction of some of the best food we've ever had the privilege of enjoying and the quiet French countryside was refreshing. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone in search of a peaceful place to warm your heart.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast !Warm hospitality
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We arrived on a Sunday and nowhere in the area was open for dinner so Ann very kindly offered to cook us dinner. What a wonderful experience, food was excellent and very plentiful. Cons: Nothing
5.5 Okay
Pros: Very friendly family, with a warm welcome
Cons: Once upon a time it was a nice castle, but the transformation to a place to receive guests is not successful. The bed was beautiful, but the walls, floor, decoration and some of the furniture didn't fit in a castle. The toilet ring was broken and not clean. For that price, we expected much more
6.8 Good
Pros: The location and quietness plus secure parking
Cons: No help with luggage up two flights of stairs. Suite was cold on entering - poorly furnished and finshed ( bricolage). Coffee machine lead too far to reach plug. Wifi not useable in room. No wardrobe.
6.8 Good
Pros: Lovely large room. Views from room were great. The chateau itself beautiful and the host although not great English was helpful.
Cons: The bed was really hard with a heavy quilt on in the middle of summer. Only one pillow and one hand towel for 2 people.Shower was fixed only 3 feet high so couldn't stand under. It was broken and came off the wall. When we told host she said we could hold it with one hand and shower with other. There were 50 stairs to climb to the room and to carry luggage.

Pros: Very friendly & helpful owner, personal access to spacious bedroom through glazed doors from garden, comfortable bed, large bathroom with bath & shower. Excellent & generous breakfast with homemade jam (no fiddly packets to open) & choice of cheese & plenty of coffee and fruit juice.
Cons: Pillows were not very comfortable and it would have been nice to have a spare toilet roll!

Pros: Great welcome from English speaking staff, comfortable bed, big shower with hot water. Great breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Quiet area with plenty of safe parking. Within walking distance of several restaurants, we recommend that you go past the buffalo grill to the Courtepaille for excellent wood grilled food.
Cons: The room was very tight to move around in.
7.5 Good
Pros: Quick acces from the highway, nothing special but fine for a night when passing through on your way to your ski resort
7.5 Good
Pros: Shower room & shower - brilliant!!!! Good location with large LeClerc & a good choice of eateries nearby BUT avoid Buffalo Grill next door to hotel, it's the worst one we have been to in France (food & staff).
Cons: Actual room is of "not enough room to swing a moggie" size, bit more thought when designing the shower room could have avoided this. Staff, grudgingly, spoke a little English. I did offer both German & Greek as alternatives, but no response. Breakfast was of the usual French buffet standard, not a patch on the Italian version but OK. Not sure that the WiFi access requirements actually conform to GDPR, as there is no option to opt out of marketing when registering which I'm fairly certain is a requirement of GDPR.
7.5 Good

Cons: The room is very small

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, close to motorway and had a secure car park
Cons: Nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: It was a good location to see the area, easy access to everything.
Cons: Although it was a two star hotel, the disabled room didn’t have any hand towels or hand soap. When we asked for hand soap we were told to use the body gel from the wall dispenser near the shower. Also we told they only give one bath towel per person nothing else. It is unacceptable to expect a disabled person who can only walk with crouches to try to carry body gel in her hand just to wash her hands or her face over the sink.
7.0 Good
Pros: Cheap and next to shopping centre .
Cons: Was noise from the motorway near by so couldn’t sleep. Was surely not double glazing .

Pros: I liked the comfort of the room, the size of the bed and the clean facilities. It was a beautiful night and I was able to lie in the bed and watch the stars through the trees - amazing. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The host speaks some English.
Cons: I had great difficulty finding the place. If you click for the GPS co-ordinates ~ these take you to the village, thats all. The location is about 1.5km away through the village of Dommartin-Sous-Amance and along the D 37 (Rue Louis Pasteur) then as you drive over a bridge, turn left up the hill - there is a sign at the turn-off. It is the big house on the right and use the front door facing the road. Parking is on the street.

6.8 Good
Pros: Very quiet location, ample breakfast.
Cons: It was not easy to find, and there seemed to be no-one around when we arrived. We were not expected, despite having booked, so had to wait a while for the booking was checked: it was a bit disconcerting.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, value for money, very friendly staff
4.3 Okay
Pros: A smile from the owner would have been nice. I have stayed in better youth hostels. The place was spartan and the cleanliness did not compensate for the lack of any charm. How about some flowers outside? The one redeeming feature was the restaurant Goujon opposite where we ate well and were made to feel welcome. Overall we felt it was a shame that we had disturbed their routine. Wifi was awful, hand held shower .
Cons: Everything
