Stuart was the guy who assisted us in checking in and was kind enough to arrange earlier breakfast. Thank you for all the staff members. Great stay, recommend for everyone looking for a cosy, clean and friendly place to stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel and such a friendly guy working there, Stuart - he seemed to be everywhere at once, he was checking us in and then out and giving us local tips, he was serving behind the bar and then serving us dinner. He really made our stay so enjoyable and he seemed to enjoy his job and told us funny little stories. He deserves a huge raise in salary !!!
Cons: There was nothing that we could say we didnt like - oh the top sheet was pretty small and we had to fight for a corner each.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the staff, the facilities. It's a great place to stay if you are on a bike trip. I'd highly recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Location, staff, food.
Cons: Very professional and very helpful staff
7.0 Good
Pros: the location is absolutely magnificent , the relaxation area in the hotel was lovely and food in the bar was good value and tasty . There was a nice vibe about the place and you did'nt feel anything was pretentious and were made very welcome in all Areas of the complex., particularly when staying in the hostel as opposed to the hotel
Cons: We cooked breakfast in the kitchen but that was it , The facilities in the kitchen were the biggest let down , Very little food storage and a fridge that was too small . The cutlery was in short supply and there was a lingering smell as a result of a bin left open overnight. Whilst it is up to those staying in the hostel to clean up after themselves , it would have been no harm to have a regular wipe down of communal areas ( worktops/ tables/ floors ) by the complex staff . . Overall the whole complex looked a little tired including the spa and hotel. a little touch up / deep clean would do no harm . Whilst the hostel was good value we would have felt differently if we stayed in the hotel as the rates there did'nt justify the overall condition of the common Areas .
7.5 Good
Cons: Room was extremely stuffy couldn't open the windows with midgets unfortunately.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: view excellent but very remote
Cons: lack of mobile coverage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely helpful and amazing place. Staff was super helpful. Location is great unfortunately the activities we wanted were prebooked by people so could not do those. Overall a great place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, and the range of activities available Reasonable prices
6.8 Good
Pros: It was quiet the room was spacious and clean, the shower was excellent and the hostel it was surrounded by beautiful landscape
Cons: It has just one restaurant and one bar and the prices are expensive in relation with the quality of the food and the service that they offer even the quantity of food is small. And as the hostel is far away from the center it could be the only option.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: New facilities, very friendly staff, amazing spa in the hotel near by
Cons: Not enough space in the fridge
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Delphi Resort is situated in a beautiful glen. The mountain panorama is stunning. The resort itself offers numerous activities - hiking, mountain biking, parcours etc. We recommend it especially for families and active people!
Cons: The kitchen should be equipped with a bit more cutlery, plates and bowls. Especially sharp knives should be provided.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just a wonderful vibe
Cons: Nothing all great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cathy is a very nice person; The mountain view is special; The rooms are quite large and comfortable; The batchroom was spacious as well; This is a quiet place; The Breakfast was great; The house is located only 4 kms away from a restaurant of good quality (with typical dished from the region)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A warm and genuine welcome. Extremely hospitable and helpful and set in an incredible location. I cycled from Glynsk via Kylemore Loch and Leenan. The scenery was breathtaking arriving and just as beautiful travelling up through the Maam valley on my departure. The movie The Field was shot close by and it was a joy to spot some of the locations. I absolutely had to have a pint in Hamiltons.
Cons: I should have stayed at least another night and travelled back into Leenaan
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view was beautiful, the peace and quiet was magnificent and the owner Cathy was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. Cathy recommended places to eat and was informative and chatty about the area which is stunning.
Cons: The place was spotlessly clean and great value. Better quality pillows and bed linen would be the cherry on the cake!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a B&B so we did not expect fine coffee but what we had was good. Kathy's breakfasts were great and she was a wonderful host.
Cons: The WiFi was dodgy and even the cell reception was sketchy but that has more to do with the terrain than anything that our host could have changed. My partner was still trying to run his business, which required some trips in Leenane to address.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large room, large bathroom, very quiet, good breakfast, lovely host
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostess and breakfast and the skylights and views.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting and location of the B&B was fantastic. We wanted to stay in a quiet place far from the city, and well, this is the place! Just a few miles from my grandmothers ancestral home, one valley to the north, Limestone Lodge was a great place for our family to stay and explore the west coast of Ireland and the Connemara. Our host Cathy was warm, and friendly, and offered many thoughts about travel in the area and knew many of my extended family members,
Cons: Paying in cash. Certainly not a deal breaker, and we understand completely about fees the host would have to pay, but being able to use a credit card is advantageous for a long family trip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the most beautiful views you could wish for. Great location and very friendly and helpful hosts. Really recommended and will be back there next year.

Pros: Very relaxed country house vibe in a fantastic location for walking and scenery. Cosy public spaces and very good dinners and breakfast at a communal table.
Cons: Dining is with everyone together at a large table. This we liked but is maybe not for everybody's taste.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Meal was expensive and not properly cooked. Overpriced at 60 euro a head for the standard of cooking. Single choice of main course which was lamb which was not fully hung and hence tough. Approx 6 of 17 guests left their main uneaten. Dessert was also not properly prepared.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: All was perfect.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: No TV in rooms , no phone coverage poorly stocked bar not much to do
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We were very lucky to be given a suite which was so comfortable, the bathroom was luxurious The hotel is part of a resort but we didn’t take advantage of these, I would have had I been younger and fitter. Pity they didn’t have a golf course as we do play and would have played.
Cons: The resort is in the middle of nowhere so other than going to the restaurant. They deliberately don’t provide televisions because they want to encourage guests to relax and read, this was rather annoying, I think I am old enough to choose how I spend my time. To top it all WiFi and telephone reception was very sporadic.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location
Cons: Food very expensive, wifi didnt work and no tvs in any room, my daughter couldnt use spa pool as she was 12 and was told she was too young which she was so looking forward to doing

Cons: Room was not what I booked Staff in restaurant were abysmal - almost comical
6.3 Good
Pros: Waiting and bar staff work very hard, pleasant and effective. Spa staff equally so, special mention to the care taken by Katrina . Adventure staff really accommodating .
Cons: One of the most insipid rooms i have ever stayed in.Room very dark. Hard to get any natural light into the room without opening curtains fully..no privacy in Room 13b. I had submitted a request re a quiet room, but ended up beside a screaming family. There was no record of request with management! Activities coordinator unhelpful and lacking basic customer care training. Breakfast food mediocre at best and dinner prices a little too high. Many areas to improve on.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: All the staff are great and very pleasant.
Cons: No TV in the room. The WiFi is slow.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Its setting
Cons: My stay was to short
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff really tried. Very helpful.
Cons: Irrational layout of accommodation. Just about figured it out by the time we left.
6.8 Good
Pros: Activities are amazing , the staff are very friendly and very helpful - although a lot of the service staff are trainee teenagers in for the summer.
Cons: The hotel rooms are quite basic for the price/stars and the common areas have the feel of needing a good clean - that said I do love Delphi and the escape it offers. It just needs a bit of an upgrade !

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and parking was great. We were greeted immediately and checked in straight away. We had asked for a room with a view of the water and we got just that. Very generous sized room with small bathroom. Tea and coffee making facility and a small fridge. There was plenty of variety for breakfast. The hot food wasn't as hot as I'd like, but it wasn't cold by any means. We really enjoyed our stay!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The lodge is in beautiful spot with views of Kilary Fjord and the mountains. It’s a great location for exploring parts of Connemara. The staff were very helpful. They found a room for me when I arrived at 9am after travelling overnight. I needed to sleep so I was very grateful. There were a lot of options for breakfast. Tip for booking the boat trip on Kilary Fjord — if you book it through Portfinn Lodge, it’s much cheaper.

Pros: Josephine, the B&B landlady, was extremely warm, welcoming and friendly, and encouraged camaraderie amongst the guests. The breakfast was excellent. A great place to stay.
Cons: Everything about it was positive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This beautiful old farmhouse and it's charming and intelligent owner, Josephine, welcomed us with open arms. Our room was great. Old-world feel and yet updated. The bathroom was lovely and plenty of water in the shower. And it was probably the best bed we slept on during our entire trip, and we slept on many really comfy beds. Josephine recommended the hotel restaurant in town and we probably had the best meal of our trip there. I, salmon, and my husband lamb shank. The next morning she suggested we go to the sheep farm where the owner, Tom, demonstrated his boarder collie's impressive sheep gathering skills and then he trimmed a huge sheep right in front of us with care, skill and kindness. The other guests at the B&B were very interesting and the whole setting was so beautiful and bucolic. Just what we needed! We would definitely go back.
Cons: Nothing. The place was great!
10.0 Excellent

Cons: the bathroom, the poor breakfast, the old casserole
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: Everything
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location Staff
Cons: Damp Dirty gloomy, not kept well. Falling behind in the hostel world. Would be okay in 1998 but in 2019 needs a revamp of showers bed and lighting ... upgrade beds with curtains and sockets new neutral bed sheets. WiFi and Data is terrible. Out side surrounding the building needs attention.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is wonderful if you intend to hike down Killary fjord to Glassilaun beach and stay at Killary hostel or a bnb down there. The kitchen facilities are great but they have the most disgusting old scrubbing pads and dirty dish towels for washing up the dishes, cookware etc. there should be a kitchen porter position. It’s extremely unhygienic here including in the private room I had.
Cons: The kitchen facilities are great but they have the most disgusting old scrubbing pads and dirty dish towels for washing up the dishes, cookware etc. there should be a kitchen porter position. It’s extremely unhygienic here including in the private room I had. The stairs are very noisy and there are many kids running up and down disturbing sleep.
7.5 Good
Pros: Vey nice location, cheap and friendly staff. View was great! Dorms are spacey.
Cons: Bathrooms could definitely use some refurbishing, they are definitely not the best. The hostel accommodates a lot of people but common areas are not capable to fit them, so can be difficult to find space for breakfast at peak times.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, staff were really nice & helped us have a bbq even gave us charcoal & lighting fluid. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is excellent. Good breakfast. Great value for money. Highly recommended
Cons: Check in at 5pm and check out at 10am seems a bit tight. WiFi didn't reach most of the hostel. Lots of midgies outside at night so you have to keep windows closed. Sewage smell from bathroom. Tap water is not drinkable but bottled is provided
5.5 Okay
Pros: I liked the location. Quiet & peaceful.
Cons: Their bar only contains wine & pizza. There wasn’t any towels like it said there would be in the description. Radiators were rusting and there was a damp smell throughout. I had a double room which contained a double bed & a set of bunk beds. Very basic and not worth the €69 I paid for one night.

Pros: The room is OK, the staff is nice and the view from the window is fine. These are the only good things about this place.
Cons: The internet is not working. The WiFi is on, you can connect and nothing more is happening. The staff was informed in the evening, the internet still off in the morning. It is very loud in hallways up to 3AM. People are walking, running, talking and even screaming. And there's a breakfast on top of this hill. Cereal and toasts? While staff guys are getting plates full of bacon and eggs to the dedicated staff dinning room? And it is 70 Eur for this "adventure"? Oh, c'mon. Never again.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location is excellent for exploring the countryside nearby.
Cons: Breakfast very poor for the price paid for the night. The bathroom had old plasters on the floor. We were the only adults staying as it was all teenagers and we weren't told in advance.
