There was breakfast, coffee, snacks, an old guitar (which I tried to tune but was afraid of breaking the strings, merely ornamental) A hot tub, beautiful scenery. Chickens in a coop nearby, and a few horses in a pen pretty close. We went during music fest so it was very nice to get our privacy. I would definitely love to come back, as it was an amazing experience for both of us :
Pros: Very kind and friendly hosts that were very good about respecting privacy. We didn't leave the room the whole time and it was so beautiful on our balcony in the suite that it didn't even matter.
Pros: the owners were super friendly as were the other guests
Situated by the ocean, Two Eagles Lodge is a great choice for a stay in Union Bay. You can indulge in massages, body treatments, or aromatherapy. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and all rooms offer balconies or patios and DVD players.
Pros: View of the first tee area at the resort.
Upscale design of the unit, full kitchen and living room with a separate bedroom.
Pros: Beautiful extra large suite with a full kitchen, beautiful bathroom and comfortable beds. Very quiet tranquil scenery.
Cons: Needs a make up mirror in the bathroom. And better resort information at check in, where the restaurant is etc. as the hotel is split up in to villa's (separate buildings).
Located just 3.7 mi (6 km) from the airport, Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community offers a free shuttle (available 24 hours). Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Timber Room Restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's a golf course and a bar/lounge, and in-room conveniences include refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Excellent in every sense.
Pros: The room we stayed in was like a little apartment. It was new and clean and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Would have preferred a gas fireplace instead of an electric one.
Pros: The location is very walkable to the center of town.
Cons: Plane cheerios would have been better than the sweetened ones.
Pros: Nice location, close to easy walking path (ideal for kids)Great hotel, comfortable rooms and really cool kitchen.
Cons: View from our balcony was quite restricted (trees)Called the spa, the service we asked was not available 'because she -the masseuse-was pregnant' (??????).They promised us to call back with another offer...they never called back...disappointing.
Pros: The room was really spacious, well appointed for both business and pleasure travellers. There is a heated pool and hot tub outside that are open until 10 pm. There were few guests in the hotel which was great as it was quiet. Free wifi and parking.
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like.
we asked to park our vehicle for a few days over the weekend, and the staff even offered a covered and secured spot for us to leave the vehicle. That was very much appreciated.
Pros: the rooms were new and spacious.
Cons: the mattress's are too firm.
Nicely situated, had a walking path into town less than 10 minute walk. Nice pubs and restaurants close by, has a lovely gourmet restaurant attached to hotel
Pros: Nice one bedroon suite, nice view of inlet
Our check in process was an unfortunate chain of problems, due to being unable to enter the room, as the room card lock was malfuntioning. Three trips to the front desk and several more newly activated cards still didn't help. After half hour of this, the maintenance person was called to help, who turned out to be the star of their staff, and should be applauded for her great attitude and skills. She reminded the reception lady that this room has a problem lock that can't be fixed, but went out of her way to help us. The second room offered, wasn't suitable as I was travelling with my disabled son, and we needed two beds in the room, not one king bed. So the wonderful maintenance lady offered to clean a different room, so that we could at least get checked in! The fourth five minute ordeal finally got us to our room and checked in after 6 pm. I would have been upset with the reception person, had it not been for the exceptional service that the maintenance lady provided, by helping with our bags and getting us to a clean room. The whole thing kind of put us off our stay, but we tried our best to be gracious, despite no apologies from front desk. An upgrade would have been in order, but not wasn't offered. Also the underground parade had several badly leaking pipes, that left big sludgy mess all over our vehicle. I didn't even bother to go back up at check out to tell them about that. Overall, would we return? Hmmm not sure....probably not.
Pros: The room decor was fairly well designed. The pool area was pretty good, for this type of hotel. There was a nice outdoor couch area that was trendy and comfortable.
Cons: Yes, please see below.

Pros: it as clean and close to the place I needed to be
Pros: Looked quite clean and new, nice pool, great continental breakfast with tasty bacon, king room with comfortable pull out bed
Pros: Room and price
Cons: Road noise
Pros: Clean, good location, comfortable beds, breakfast included
Pros: THE POOL AND STAFF
Pros: Location is good
Cons: 'Pet is allowed' is misleading. I will not stay here again.
Pros: Great friendly staff. Right on the main street but very quiet. Close to walking paths. Everyone was so friendly. The grandkids loved the pool.
Pros: Lots of shopping close by, everything that you need is just down the street. The breakfast was great and the staff were nice. I will stay again.
Cons: The pool was a bit small and the slide was not attached to the pool (had its own area). No in house movies... :( Getting in and out of the parking lot was a chore....
Pros: Nice pool and hot tub Great breakfast, with really good choices Clean
I'm not handicapped and couldn't choose type of room. On my reservation it states: 'Room assigned on check-in'. The next morning I complained. I was told a trainee served us on check-in. There was an older employee present who didn't help. I've been waiting 2 days for them to call me
Pros: good location, newer building, nice amenities
Cons: Poor communication from staff. I felt belittled and powerless. We were put in a handicapped room, there's no tub. I asked for a different room. They said I chose that room and since its through Priceline it couldn't be changed.
Great hotel for quick trip to ski.
Pros: Pool was great for the kids! Staff overlooking the breakfast buffet was a delight! She was smiling happy and efficient!
Cons: Kids said pool was a bit chilly but it didn't stop them.

Cons: Booked a room on the main floor due to mobility issues when we arrived our room was on the 2nd flr. We were offer the only room on the main floor that was available it was the last one yet to be renovated and updated. WTF??? Why would we take that?? The upstairs room must have been updated years ago! If we liked we could also upgrade to a king room as they were in a section of the resort that had an elevator but that would cost an extra 80.00 a night from what were paying. We took the room on the second floor and did the stairs. We felt we were being punished with the leftover, last on the list dumpy room because we used an online service to book.
Most uncomfortable beds we have ever had at any place we have ever stayed. Not sure how old the mattresses were but I haven't seen ones like that for many many years, my parents owned a resort 30 some years ago and they looked very familiar even the handles were falling off. When we inquired at the front desk the next morning about what could be done with the terrible mattress we were told that a lot of people like a harder mattress and they offered to put on a foam topper, as well move us to a main flr room. We returned from a day out our suitcases had been moved to a new room but they never put the topper on the same ugly worn out hard mattresses, Mgmt said that they didn't have anything for the queen rooms only for the king beds and there was really nothing they could do except maybe put a few comforters down as a topper??? Needless to say we did not stay the second night and checked out instead of suffering through another sleepless night. Basically the facility had beautiful grounds well cared for but the rest of the place minus the lobby was dumpy and run down .
Pros: We loved the Hydropath and the waterfront view. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Cons: The restaurant was a bit pricey and the food was just okay.

Pros: The hotel was exactly what I wanted. Staff probably impressed me most -- helpful, cheerful, but not overdoing it.
Cons: Nothing about your hotel in particular, but you're all playing the rate game, citing it in US dollars. Somewhere I saw a $--- quote which quickly becomes an all-in $---. Enough to make a saint cynical.
There are two classes of rooms - opt for the pricier ones. The ones with no air conditioning are also somewhat run down. Staying there in a heat wave was almost unbearable.
Cons: No air conditioning in many rooms - don't stay in them if its' hot!
Great location on the main street, lots of parking , very comfortable beds , decent if small room .free local phone calls , free wireless in rooms. Bathroom and particularly the enclosed shower were very small.
Pros: Convenient location on main street of Courtenay , right next door to a McDonald's (for a cheap breakfast), comfortable bed , allowed a very early check in to accommodate my needs.
Cons: The Priceline rate for a basic room was XXX USD. The advertised rate on the outside signage( readagraph) was XXX CDN..which I did not notice until leaving. The Office was closed with a sign in the window which said 'YARD'..so I couldn't

Cons: I didn't like that the price was in USD... if I'm booking in Canadian with a Canadian Credit Card to a Canadian Hotel... I expect to be quoted CAD. I didn't like the heat issue in the room and noises! I woke up to a 6am alarm I didn't set.
Pros: good quality for the location
Cons: difficult access parking locations
Pros: clean, good beds
Cons: noisy party all hours. no change after complaint made to front desk
Cons: Rooms are old and need renovation
Cons: The building was old and tired, stinks, carpets are stained, virtually no sound proofing between rooms, vehicle traffic outside was loud.
Pros: the location
Cons: Room was dirty (pill bottle, bits of food and used Kleenex in a drawer.Urine on toilet). Man at the front desk was great.Very apologetic said manager would call and do something for me but she never did. No fridge, beds were old-no support. Bad pillows.
Pros: The staff was awesome
Cons: The price I pd was more than my corporate rate
Pros: We loved being able to hear what the people upstairs in the hallway were doing, as well as the rooms the other side of us.It was very romantic for our honeymoon hearing the big trucks going over the bridge right outside our window all night keeping us up
Cons: It was probably a one star facility that we had seen billed as a four-star. The hotel room was small, the bed uncomfortable. The room advertised a bar fridge which did not exist. The soaps etc. in the washroom were tiny and of poor quality. Bad experience
