Very nice wellness & sports facilities
Breakfast is good
The breakfast was much better than other hotels. Having a restaurant and bar in the lobby is always a big plus for my stay
Hotel is convenient. Allows for parking for free for first week while you travel. Early morning Driver and front desk could be better organized.
Modest accommodations, good breakfast Nothing
The hotel offered a park and ride package for overnight guests. Stay one night and park from one to three weeks in lieu of airport parking. This is a good value, especially if you're able to enjoy the Manager's Reception and the hot breakfast before heading to the airport. We appreciated the food options during the Manager's Reception - better than average selection of items and also had a decent dinner at CLAIM the on-site restaurant. The hotel has been remodeled and rooms are fresh and furnishings are stylish and updated. Our bed was a bit too firm and linens seemed thin. The bathroom remodel was limited to a new backlit mirror. Our Shuttle driver was funny, courteous and helpful. Bartender was not personable, in the least. While I appreciate this is a family style hotel and over the holidays I expect families to be traveling, the inability of parents to control their children these days is utterly appalling. It was difficult to enjoy the Manager's Reception and dinner at the on-site restaurant while little ones screamed at the top of their lungs and were allowed to run around unsupervised while their parents sat and drank. A sensitive topic to be sure, but buyer beware of the potential for this to occur.
The amount of space; the soft, warm bedspread; the proximity to the airport; I really liked the layout of the room so that you can close the door to the bedroom and thus further seal out the noise in the hallway and drifting up from the restaurant below. It didn't seem that you could watch regular TV with the remote--it only directed me to movies for which I'd have to pay extra. The towels were a little rough, though clean.
Great Value, good breakfast. Badly worn carpet in the room that was coming apart.
Loved the spacious room in the suites, the complimentary manager's social hour every night and the continental breakfast which is the best I've ever had. The hot tub was no slouch either and the staff was excellent, courteous and professional. The beds where obviously of very cheap quality in our room and a full size instead of queen. I work for a mattress retailer and could tell immediately that the beds in the room were the cheapest brand available.
Hotel was great for the price. Needs a lot more parking, had to park in the street one night.
Everything was perfect
The room is huge, the price was great! Nothing.
Clean, free internet, free parking No safe in the room
The staff is very inviting. It's very clean, 25 min drive to downtown. Overall great experience. I would definitely come back
Very clean No continental breakfast
The hotel was very clean with great room service and a nice cafe in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The bed was terrible. The bed has a firmness adjustment but anything less that max and you were sleeping across 3 metal bars. Pillows were also very uncomfortable.
I liked how friendly and eager the staff was to help out. The facility was very clean and the location was very convenient. My daughter wanted just a scoop of yogurt and a handful of berries for breakfast. We still had to pay the $12.95 for like $3.00 worth of food. The policy could use an update.
Beds were very uncomfortable and heat in the room didn't work.
We stayed here for a race nearby. Since it is in the Tech Center (lots of offices and hotels catering to business travelers), the area is quiet on the weekends. The lobby has flavored water and coffee available, and there were some good oatmeal cranberry cookies in the afternoon. It was nice that check-out is at noon, so we had plenty of time after our race to come back and shower before checking out. Staff was friendly and helpful too!
The staff was very friendly. The suites were very comfortable and efficient. The breakfast buffet was very large and tasty. The hotel is a little older but, everything is very nice and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
The staff that greeted us at checking was extremely professional and polite. She made us feel welcome from the start. There is a major renovation under way. I understand that hotels need to periodically upgrade, but they should consider closing during this process or at least let a person know when they are making a reservation. Also, they should close the doors of the rooms under renovation. It felt somewhat abandoned as we were heading to our room which was actually pretty nice.
Was under construction and was not aware of it when we made the reservations.
Breakfast was great! Dining service sucked at night considering all the construction
Typical Emmbassy Suites, full made to order breakfast, complementary drinks in the evning. Two room suites and friendly staff. Fixtures inside rooms were slightly dated, but more importantly were worn. The kitchen area sink and the bathtub both leaked constantly. And other small issues that just made it appear they didn't care to upkeep the hotel. Overall great stay.
The room was large and the breakfast was great. The mattresses on the bed were not firm enough.
The location worked well for our families who were all staying at the hotel and needed to make it to the airport at various times the next day. The free shuttle was a great perk! The fire alarm went off in the entire hotel for almost 15 minutes in the middle of the night and needless to say, none of the small children that we were traveling with that night got any sleep. Thankfully it was a false alarm, but it made for a terrible night. Our entire extended family had booked rooms at the hotel for the night and unfortunately we all had a very poor experience due to the lack of sleep everyone received. The hotel didn't offer any sort of apology even though we heard many complaints at breakfast and in the lobby the next morning. Overall we were very disappointed.
Everything Kids in the hot tub after 10pm
The rooms are wonderfully comfortable and clean.
Very clean , comfortable beds , good food The nail salon they have gives off a strong chemical order throught the entire hotel. I could smell it on the 7th floor.
Nice, clean, close to city and airport and well educated staff,
Enjoyed the Managers cocktail hours from 5:30 - 7:30pm and the variety and comfort of the free breakfast dining area. I always look for bargains at high quality hotels like the Stapleton Denver has to offer.
Place is clean and with business like atmosphere. Free breakfast is always a plus! None
Clean, spacious rooms
Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Good selection of breakfast from 400am-900am Wifi was spotty at best.
Pretty comfortable & clean. Served the purpose. Light over the bed wouldn't turn on. A bit cramped quarters.
Shower water pressure You know how you feel on Friday after a long work week? That's this hotel: tired, yet functional. Getting in late from the airport, just needed a place to sleep-& this accomplished that. But, lots of areas of wear: upholstery, plumbing, walls, it needs some updating for sure. Staff not exciting & disinterested.
Parking for the car while we were away
The room was nice . Internet is fast. The hotel is very old. Corridors look and smell horrible
How close it is to the airport. Nothing really, but we stayed one night only, so we barely had any time at all to judge.
Easy access to the Denver Airport. You are only like 5 miles from the rental car drop off and there is a gas station on the way. We booked this room because it was cheap and only planned on getting some sleep before heading out in the morning. We walked into a room at 1 am and it was hot, I mean it must have been 80+ degrees in the room. We got he King bed and went to lay down and both rolled down to the middle of the bed. It was not being romantic but instead the bed was so badly sagging in the middle gravity just took you there then you had to fight to get out of it. I spent the night trying to not fall in the middle of the bed and trying to get cool. This was one of the worst nights sleep I ever had in a hotel and have stayed in a lot of hotels!
Very close to airport. Dropped our car, took the shuttle to the airport and then hotel shuttle back. Room was a bit small, but adequate. Could walk 1/4 mile and hop the light rail into Denver. It was 95 so didn't walk. Breakfast was ok. No eggs, but did have make-your-own waffles. Desk clerk was not the regular and didn't know a lot. There is one diner, that was very good, within walking distance. That was it for "entertainment" and food. They did have restaurant delivery menus, but location is pretty desolate. We asked for a 6:15 a.m. wake up call but got one at 5:40. Really?
The room was small, as expected, which was fine with me since I was traveling by myself. However, when I walked into my room I was greeted with a blast of hot air as they had the heat running on high. I immediately broke into a sweat and had to turn on the AC. Although this was somewhat unpleasant I enjoyed my one night stay overall. The room was very clean and there was free breakfast, although not the best hotel breakfast I've had. The shower had amazing water pressure, but the curtain rod was sloping down so I couldn't keep the shower curtain closed all the way. As a result, half the bathroom got wet. Finally, the staff seemed pleasant enough and the hotel had a free airport shuttle that took only about 10 minutes to get to the airport. So overall, is say it was definitely worth the inexpensive price I paid to stay there through Kayak.
Location The eggs and sausage for the complimentary breakfast were horrible. Unlike any other Holiday Inn Express I've stayed at. Clogged tub but called & got fixed within 20min Cable TV didn't work, called and the issue was never resolved. No fridge in our room.
The valet boys were cute. The valet boys wouldn't come home with me.
The free breakfast. Shuttle. Grill night was easy and very convenient. Nothing I can think of.
Great place to stay if you need quick access to DIA for a flight. The rooms are big and clean, and the staff is friendly.
My family was told it would be 20 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up at the Denver airport but after many calls and failed attempts to get anyone to answer the phone and then to call the corporate reservation office to have the call disconnected, we finally flagged a bus down at the airport. We waited 1hour and 45 min at the airport. Then the driver was very rude and told us he was never told to pick us up. Then when finally arriving at the hotel and asked for an explanation, the staff stated that he was told and he continued to be rude as he was standing there behind the counter. Very unreliable shuttle service and the phone system was unreliable to speak with front desk staff or to get the front desk to answer.
Pool was great. My kids love swimming. And the complimentary food and beverage was nice The total cost was $182. That's a lot for a family w kids.
Friendly staff. Very good place to stay for one night. Comfortable beds.Good warm breakfast.
It's a good quality hotel. Don't expect anything fancy. Everything worked and the shuttle service was good.
This hotel was great. They provided a nice breakfast as well as dinner. We had received a free upgrade so we had a two bed two bath suite. It was clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend!
Great guest service. Checked us in early even though they didn't have too. Clean spacious room. Kids loved the warm pool. And breakfast was good. The lady working it even made my kids snack bags for our day out exploring.
Nice room, very near to the airport and free shuttle service
We wanted a room close to the airport for an early morning flight. Huge room, super comfortable and CLEAN bed, great bathroom, close to area restaurants. Our stay was quick but perfect.
It was clean ( ok) but wasnt exactly cheap It s starting to look old. The carpet, A/C, bathroom, etc
Clean, updated room, heated pool for my child Bath tub was clogged.
At least they had breakfast. A guy asked for water they sent him in the laundry room to get water from the tap My stay was horrendous: Shuttle bus broke down! Found out after waiting for an hour after landing at airport even though I called them every 20 Minutes about the shuttle Paid for a taxi to get to the Inn. No reimbursement manager never present night or morning Tv not working Room despicable Worst stay ever
The configuration of the unit, cleanliness, bedding and location all contributed to our very comfortable stay. I was disappointed that there were no evening snacks/wine Thursday through Saturday. My only complaint with the staff occurred when I needed to get in a night early and the young man on duty that night was very cavalier about their unavailability and offered almost no assistance to help us. Parking was a challenge in the evenings and nearly impossible in the underground garage.
Nice size rooms. Decent location. Staff was rude. Whole place smelled like pot. They discontinued their airport shuttle, but did not remove it from their website or other travel sites. I will not be returning.
Motel advertise is airport pickup. When I called from the airport to be picked up they said they did not provide that service.I was told that it is a service provided by the previous owners. I also requested an additional chair in our room twice but it was never provided.
A bit dirty on chairs and couch. Bar closed early Shower drained well, towels clean
I had a really bad experience. I chose Timbers for safety. Since I travelled by myself, I felt safer staying at a hotel with rooms in a closed hallway. But the receptionist didn't do her job at all. She gave my room's key to other guests. I was so scared when I saw two people coming in my room at 10:00 pm. So were they, since they were expecting an empty room. The receptionist called me to apologize and she started laughing out loud in the phone. I asked for the manager the next morning, and, a week later, I am still waiting for a response. I would not recommend you that hotel. It is not worth it for the money you will pay for it.
Friendly staff, great accommodations, affordable price. Located near Denver so easy access to downtown and surrounding hiking areas.
The patio off of the room and room was quite and secluded area seemed a little ghetto but room was cool
Breakfast Nobody who works there cares about cleanliness, carpets, mowing the grass, or any guest request. Broken dirty coffee maker with used filter shoved in. Shower barely work. TV signal low with messages to pay bill. How this got a 3 star was a shock. More like a 1 star.
Rude staff, dirty rooms, it took three different rooms to have a suitable room and it still had a broken bathroom door and broken bathroom sink. The first room smelled lile somebody had been doing drugs on the bed. The second room smelled like somebody was chain smoking for weeks on end. Walkin in the place looked nice but I was overall very disappointed. And what's with all the tarps and mattress in the "courtyard" area of the place. It's a school bus size pile of tarps and old mattresses. Wtf.
Location close to DIA was great. Sufficient parking and well lit. Long term tenants arguing with front desk employees and "firing" tazers by the front door and lobby. Also let their dog run amuck whilst doing so. Very unprofessional of the front desk to let this happen with guests around. I felt unsafe. Also room had holes in wall recently repaired and not painted. Ugly!
The rooms were spacious and inviting. We were excited to have two separate rooms to lounge in. We love visiting swimming pools. The outdoor space was quite large and could have accommodated a pool. More families would enjoy staying if there was a pool.
Comfy bed. Great shower! Cleanliness and most workout equipment broken.
Low rate. I felt like I was going to bring bed bugs home with me.
Location Room was not dusted making my allergies terrible! Ice machine didn't work in fridge. Told them and they didn't offer to fix.
This hotel was very nice and clean. It looked brand new, as if we were the first guests. The staff was very friendly and helpful. An easy drive from the airport. Nothing.
The staff was very friendly. The room had a very strong odor of mold. I was sick the entire stay and could not understand why I was having problems breathing until I noticed the air conditioner was leaking into the carpet. The problem had obviously been over looked for quite a while.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Very clean and beautiful room Double charged me for my room

Location, room, and extras. Breakfast and dinner 3x per week. Free Laundry services. On the pricey side but still good.
the rooms space was excellent. Parking was not assessable
big rooms nice kitchenette enjoyed the hot tub and pool nice breakfast to start the day
Its very clean and the rooms are awesome..kick back relax or go shopping at the mall..agreat time..we will difently come back..the staff was awesome. We couldnt stay longer....
The staff was very. Good. Food was not very good.
friendly staff; clean and attractive room
The breakfast was one of the best as far as variety for a hotel. Booking this hotel I did see the disclaimer about renovation to the building. Unfortunately it was the hotel rooms being updated, they laid plastic through out the hallway floors to give a cheap dirty look (good luck walking back to your room after a dip in the pool). By the elevator they have a table with flowers for decoration and it had not be dusted in a long time as someone wrote "clean me" in the effort someone would actually take the time to do this. Check-out is at noon but they had the workers there working on a Holiday (Memorial) sawing/drilling etc.. (The workers very not approachable and seem to be a "shady type") at 9 am. I was very disappointed in this stay and believe they don't have the consumers interest at heart here.
It's in a very quite area. The rooms are very big, comfortable and very clean. The beds and pillows are really very comfortable. The iron, ironing board, 2 LCD televisions, a real kitchen with cooker, owen, microwave, refrigerator, free internet... The breakfast is excellent, I could not try the complementary dinner however I heard that it's excellent too. The staff is quite helpful, nice and kind. You can really feel your self like at home... The air conditioning is a bid noisy. It's a bid far away from the city centre. You should have a car... However, compare to big central hotels, you have much nicer, bigger and comfortable rooms, and a very helpful and friendly staff...
Clean, prompt service I did not enjoy getting charged $314.55 on my credit card. I was told my credit card was not going to be charged, and only placed on hold for theft or damaged hotel property. This put a damper on my plans as I have a limited amount of credit on my card. I had asked the manager at the front desk if they charge $314.55 to everyone who checks in at La Quinta, and was told yes, although sometimes the cost is more; the cost is contingent on whom the consumer booked through. I then asked if they usually tell guests that there is going to be a charge on their credit card. I was told, no they do not tell guests about the charge.
Very clean and comfortable. I like how La Quinta always has a refrigerator and flat screen and the beds are always comfy. The towels were very rough, like sand paper. They need a little fabric softener or dryer sheets. And someone on their end cancelled our reservation so it took them a while to figure it out. Not a great feeling when you drive 9 hrs straight and tired and all you want to do is check in. Also, we had to switch rooms because the air conditioner was not working right.
Clean room, pool was opened 6:00 Am to 10:30!Pm., breakfast was good. Star was friendly and available when needed. The location was not too nice a neighborhood and near the freeway so you could hear the traffic. Elevator was very slow, I took the steps most of the time.
Very clean! Continental breakfast was ok.
This was a pretty standard La Quinta. Decently comfortable and clean, a good price near the airport. No fancy soaps or breakfast (just the standard cold offerings + waffle maker), but an excellent choice if you need a place right off the highway and/or near the airport. Check-in staff was friendly. Would stay here again.
The staff was friends. The hotel was clean and organized. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. For what I payed I loved it. The area well I lived in that area 12 years ago it does need some remodeling but the hotel it self was great. Didn't really eat the breakfast they serve but my daughter loved the cereal. Would stay again.
Clean rooms, soft beds, hot shower Air conditioner loud
The facility was very clean and pretty quite. The beds were comfortable. Th There was a bit of a hick-up when checking in. The room I reserved was not the room they tried to put me in, but the situation was resolved. The in room coffee maker was not easy to use.
Great location close to the airport. Very clean and new
The room was large and bed fairly comfortable, if a little too springy. Bathroom is also large and roomy. everything in the room worked well-TV, fridge, etc. breakfast options were sufficient, more fresh fruit would be appreciated though. Walls seemed thin, you could hear some noise from the other rooms and the hall. elevator moved very slowly and wasn't worth the wait.
The beds and shower The air conditioner was noisy and worked poorly
LARGE ROOM, CLEAN, GREAT STAFF
A Denver blizzard shut down the airport and all major highways making it impossible to get to the hotel, but they would not refund me
A very nice hotel in a great area north of Denver. I did not realize that this is a pet-friendly hotel (my mistake). It appeared that many families took advantage of this amenity during the Thanksgiving holiday. There were a lot of dogs in public spaces. For this reason we will not stay here again.
I made the reservation for the wrong night... The night prior to our stay... We were charged for both nights, of course, but the woman who checked us in not only made me feel stupid for making the wrong reservation (like I didn't feel stupid enough already) but she was also very rude about having to find us a room for that night. I felt like they could have given us a better rate for the second night. We won't be staying here again!
Staffing was great - Both counter Reps were excellent . However, Robert went above & beyond in making our stay comfortable & complete. Thanks again to the Westin Team for a great experience. We will be back. Dawn Limited menu at the restaurant./bar area
Loved the waterfall shower. Loved the tall ceilings. Very clean. I didn't like that I had to pay for internet access. That is usually included in the hotel stay at other places we stay.
Location The toilet ran all night, not constantly but every 20-25 minutes or so it would refill and was very loud. The TV didn't have a guide making it next to impossible to figure out what to watch. The WiFi was not great either. Had to come back down to front desk when we asked for room facing mountain and he made room facing east. Was easily resolved but was time consuming. Should have stayed at home.
They take customer service to the next level. Very impressed highly recommended.
