Duc, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. The location is great - near the beach and local life as well. Duc treats you like a family member or a friend, and you can ride bikes through the local area to get an idea of real life in the area. Definitely a good alternative place to stay when visiting Hoi An. You can ride a bike into Hoi An very easily as well.
We stayed 3 nights at Ang Bang Beach Homestay and it was the best homestay we stayed at in our whole Vietnam trip. The owner and proprietor, Duc, a young man, is incredibly friendly, helpful, and caring. He cooked our included breakfasts himself in the mornings, offered to take us short distances on his scooter, and knew where everything was. The homestay was clean, bright, had mosquito nets, and was a literal 2 minutes walking from the local's beach, which is MUCH quieter than the tourist beach a little ways down. The town is small and google maps' pin isnt accurate (as of November 2015), so take him up on the offer to be picked up or met somewhere! Our taxi from Danang couldnt find the hotel either. Getting lost for a half hour was easily worth the location and hospitality of Ang Bang Beach Homestay.
