Environment; Location; Interior; Spa Room was cold, when entered; poor driving sites on main road ; noise from coridor
The place is fabulous - romantic, beautiful, calm, excellent service; rowing the boat on the lake was a nice plus, so was the small spa dowstairs the beds were a bit hard; some mosquitoes at night
Very beautiful garden, interesting hotel, excellent spa. The room was very, very hot (+32 c) and there were no air conditioning. The breakfast could be a bit richer choice, although delicious. Standard tables in the restaurant needed cleaning
The setting and ambience of the place
Very beatiful hotel in silence of country side. The hotel and garden are full of art and beatiful details. Ventilation in room was poor and aircondition missing.
The Dikli Palace is an exquisite hotel! The gardens and grounds are impeccable and rooms elegant. While the Dikli Palace is fairly out of the way, it is worth the drive. The rooms were advertised as having air conditioning, but in fact, they do not. The hotel staff relocated us to another room and provided a revolving fan, which helped. The room we were assigned had no chair (other than a vanity stool) even though there was room for one. I had to bring two chairs up from a meeting room so that we had a place to sit.
I’m very disappointed in behavior of Dickli hotel. I booked suite with price 85 EUR, but when we arrived then they have print out booking from booking.com and with pen changed the price of room. Price was more than twice higher than it was in booking.com booking. First they show for us president suite, but I didn’t agreed to pay asked 171 EUR-s because I have booked suite with other price.
Very nice historic building, excellent location, autentic antique furnitures.
everything was perfect: room big and comfortable, food excellent and the place was amazing. Pets allowed.
Wonderful! Amazing! Real medieval baronial manor and perfectly renovated castle. When you enter, you find yourself into 19 centuries. We felt there as the real barons. This place could be museum! There are many real works of art and wonderful real old furniture inside. Hotel is perfect! Very benevolent, polite and cheerful personnel. Very hospitable and house atmosphere. Magnificent view from windows. Around the palace - beautiful park and lake.Magnificent kitchen! We ate meat of game from local woods and ice-cream from the African beans which they prepare. We felt like in paradise!
The food was first class with beautiful presentation. Large/varied breakfast buffet is included in the room price. Staff was very helpful in answering questions about the city and where to find things. They organized a lovely meal for us with a set menu for 16 people. My wing on 2nd floor was very quiet - rooms also are such that you don't hear a lot of other room or hallway noise. Restaurant requires payment in LVL or credit card - did not take Euros; that wasn't clear on the website. Payment for room could be done in Euros, but LVL is preferred. Again would have helped to know up front. Elevator to get luggage up to other floors would be nice. 1st floor rooms do not have A/C - good to know up front.
Flexibility and service orientation of front desk staff to supply my mother, an elderly lady, with a second pillow and blanket.
The staff were very friendly. The breakfast provided was adequate but the non-replacement of bowls, cutlery, glasses etc meant that you often had to ask for these items.
Great rooms with friendly staff in a good location. The menu and food were excellent. I had a wonderful stay. No
