Position is good within walking distance of CBD. Rooms are a good size and staff very obliging. We have stayed here previously and the rooms appear to have been refurbished. OUr breakfast tray was delivered as requested the previous night (early departure). Refurbished bathrooms do not have any space to put toiletries and only pump soap is provided. No shower cap/shampoos/body lotion supplied. Towels of very average quality. Room key did not work in first instance requiring a trek back to reception.
Close to the cbd.
height of rooms!
Nice large rooms, clean and with a refurbished feel. Freindly staff. Good location. Good value for money. On site parking. Debited my credit card when I made the booking.
a comfortable and quiet stay in Launceston
Close to shopping and many choices for dining out.
Convenience for the city.Parking available.we were even offered use of parking for the rest of the day after checking out.
Helpful, welcoming staff. Good sized room. Great central location.
location is good. room was excellent leather sofa, plasma flat screen, continental breakfast plentiful
Extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable front desk staff. Substantial breakfast buffet. Huge TV in the room.
The staff are very pleasant and friendly The shower needed a few repairs
Quiet and peaceful No
The friendliness and cooperation of the staff was excellent, the facilities clean and the area was quiet.
the location was excellent - close to Launceston city facilities and my conference venue. woken at 3am with loud voices outside my room arguing and swearing - couldn't get back to sleep, and disturbed by the impending violence. Thankfully it didn't happen, but the disturbance went on for at least 10 minutes without any response from management.
close city location, reasonable comfort for the price. noise factor. pipes "hammer" very loudly whenever other rooms use water/shower so had no sleep which detered me from staying next time and have booked into the country club for our next two night stay in launceston.
in the city. very central didn't sleep well
Staff were very accommodating for complicated bookings and attentive to all needs
Friendly, clean and comfortable
Clean, neat & tidy. Reasonably close to town and attractions.
Big room No free internet access.
Its 10mins drive from airport and 2mins drive to busy street, where u can enjoy food and do shoping for basic food. Room is quite big. It is designed for families. There are 2 layers, where 2 bedrooms are downstairs. Each bed has electric blanket, even though the room is already equipped with air-conditioner. The swimming pool and spa are indoor, so we could go swimming in the cold days. There is a city view from our balcony. And outlook of inn site itself is fascinating, very beautiful. There is no room laundry, but u could wash clothing in public laundry room for $3per wash and $3per dry. The staff in the hotel is quite nice and willing to help us. We experienced a storm during the stay in Launceston. And whole hotel was out of power for about 30mins at 10pm.
very relaxing also great entertainment for the kids mini golf pool ect.
Easy access to Launceston, plenty to do heaps of family activites That the chalets were not serviced and had to go to reception for clean towels
Pretty average room. Very small bathroom, barely room to move. No daily service of room (not huge problem), but no replenisment of bathroom items, and insufficient for duration of stay.
Excellent location, many useful facilities andideal for a restful holiday for all occasions. Must bring your golf clubs and swimming togs.Pool and spa can be used all year round. for a city dweller the shops close too early.
The nature surrounding the resort was great, the room setup was neat, and the food at the Swiss Village was terrfic! The room was also well prepared for cold weather with heated bed. The staffs at the reception could have been providing better service. At many occassions they were not being as informative as we (tourists) had expected.
We had a village apartment which was spacious and well equipped suitable for a self catering family.
position Believed it was ahotel villa not self catering and to be confronted by a sign that said we would be charged $35.00 should we leave a dirty cup in sink not only would I not stay here again but will be loath to use your web site Joe Hanratty
Staying with friends it was a nice place to sit back and relax The bed were too hard,
The many varieties of accomodation and facilities It was a bit squashy in the Sunset Villas with two double beds in the room. No room for bags etc
the swiss village was great
The warm room; the nice bathroom; the comfortable bed;the snow white towels; Missed the toaster and microwave;
the location was convenient to all facilities in the CBD and Aurora Stadium. the apartments are old and very plain inside. being on brisbane street, there was traffic noise from 5am which was very noticeable. tv was very poor.
The hotel was close to the CBD of Launceston and provided excellent service and facilities
helpful and friendly staff, comfy bed, nice view off balcony, right next to park, quiet, clean parking lot very tight, watch your head going up stairs, rooms a little old, small TV, wifi not very strong
handy to city and able to walk everywhere- no parking issues
Great location and good facilities. No lid for kitchen bin
Great location and well presented. N/a
Shower was messy to use[curtain only], and traffic noise high.
Very welcoming, went out her way to organise safe parking for our motor bikes. The most comfortable king sized beds. We wished we had sayed longer. Very central to every thing. Great value. The hotel is on a very steep incline if secure parking hadn't been organised near reception. There would have been a few safety concerns with parking & turning the bikes on such a steep incline.
It was close to the city of Launceston and the room was a good size. The room we booked, we could not have, so there was no park view and the tv didn't work (which was fixed). The kitchen was dirty.
Close to the bus depot and within walking distance to good eating places. Opposite the city park which was a welcome relief to walk in after travelling some 18 hours from NZ. Not a long enough stay.
